Although the 80% sugar level they ordered was way too sweet for me, I would probably go for 25% instead. TP was nice about splitting one drink into two cups for the children so they don't overdose on the sweet treat. Well, oolong and tea jelly sounds tempting, I will give it a try next time.

The Sunnyvale location opened in late 2024 as its first West Coast location, there was a crazy long line that I witnessed during opening week. Molly Tea recently got into some legal trouble with Louis Vuitton in China over its four-petal floral logo. LV won the case, and Molly Tea was ordered to pay about RMB 10.3 million. Molly Tea plans to appeal. Anyway, I actually really like the tea here. The jasmine flavor comes through nicely, and I like that the sweetness isn't overpowering. Definitely a nice milk tea spot in Sunnyvale!

After they started getting more hype, the lines became longer and longer. I think it's worth trying, but personally I wouldn't wait in a huge line for it. Overall, the matcha itself tastes authentic and is prepared well, but some drinks are just too bitter for my preference. My recommendations: the ice cream or Crème Brûlée Matcha. Those were easily the standouts for me.

Used to love coming to this place (just because I moved and live 20 minutes away now). I recently visited again and their drinks are always tasty and I love the boba. The workers are very generous. The cups are also pretty big and pricing is good. Although last time I came here, they left a lot of space in my cup lol it was fine though the drink was still good, other than that love this place. read more

I still tasted a lot of sweetness and not much of the assam flavor. I ended up drinking only 1/3 of the drink and then tossing it. Since the altered recipe was already too sweet for me - I think it would have been even more so if I didn't ask for less sweetness. In any case - the barista was friendly and accommodating. Service was quick and the experience wasn't horrible - I just didn't like the drink. I've had drinks I've enjoyed from Teaspoon in the past, so I'll just have to pick something else next time.
