    Quesadilla

Tres is a Chico classic & I think also hit or miss. The service was good, waiter was nice & on top of it. Margarita was pretty good, food was mid. It wasn't bad but just meh. I love that they have indoor/patio or bar seating, that is a + in my book. My friend ordered the quesadillas & she said it was pretty good but really messy. The birria enchiladas were ok, I wouldn't order them again. I would go back though and try something else, they had a lot of options to choose from!

Service was great. Made the happy hour and ordered potato tacos. Yum! Also enjoyed the micheladas sitting outside enjoying the town. Love Chico

Visited October 30th..see receipt as always. Went here to visit friends. This restaurant takes up a large corner spot off Broadway in Chico. Very close to the University. We got there when they opened at 1130am. Full bar and inside and outdoor seating. They also have a taco bar which I thought was pretty awesome ( made to order). We ordered the combo with mole ( chocolate flavor). The enchilada was great ..tamale ok. Beans and cilantro rice was good. We had a margarita and a glass of red wine. Nice pour on the wine. They have complimentary chips and salsa. The house salsa was excellent..alittle spicy and alot of flavor. Terry ( great employee) also gave me spicy salsa which was awesome! There is plenty of seating and they also have happy hour and specials on certain days. PABLO our waiter was the most upbeat and friendliest server I have encountered in a long time! So pleasant and accommodating ! What an asset ! Great time and will be back for the taco bar when I am in the area!

Happy hour margs had a lot of variety. I would say that the mole negro was great, but would have been better if the chicken wasn't as dry. Everything else including service and churros were amazing!

Typically I really like Tres food and drinks but... this time was not on par with my previous experiences. First things first though, the waitress was great. Great personality, and helpful, she gets a 10 out of 10. The negative of this visit were the drinks. They were TERRIBLE. We went to this restaurant for a late night snack and drinks, particularly margaritas. I ordered a jalapeño margarita and it the most bland, non-spicy, watered down drink ever. It literally tasted like water with chunks of jalapeños in it- No Joke. Definitely not work $10.50. My friend had the same complaint, their "melon" margarita was beyond watery and bland too. I dare say, someone is pouring water in their booze bottles here. Next time we go out for cocktails, it won't be here. The chips & salsa were good & so were the quesadillas but the drinks were crap, 100%

Food was really good. They have indoor and outdoor dining. It's a little loud outside but okay. Service was excellent for lunch. The chicken burrito was very good.

New owners changed recipes. Enchilada sauce was a mix of soy sauce and something else gross. Stay away, -RIP tres hombres.

It was a sendoff worthy of mariachi music and a frozen margarita toast. Let's start with the food: fire-grilled shrimp sizzling over peppers and onions, the kind of skillet that turns heads when it hits the table. The birria tacos were rich, cheesy, and golden-seared to perfection, with a deeply savory consommé for dipping every bite a messy, magnificent win. The combo plates brought it all together: classic rice and beans, fresh pico, guac, sour cream, and cheese so generous it should've paid rent. The place is full of charm, too. Walking through the doors is like stepping into a vibrant fiesta bright papel picado overhead, carved wooden benches, tiled floors that feel like abuela's house, and cheerful service that made us feel like family. I especially loved the colorful little photo-op corner by the entrance perfect for capturing the last California memory before heading east. It's not fancy. It's real. The kind of restaurant where flavors speak louder than trends, and you leave with a full belly and a bigger smile. Whether you're rolling through Chico or you're lucky enough to call it home, La Fiesta deserves a spot on your regular rotation. And if you're heading out of town like I was, this is the kind of farewell feast that sticks with you right next to the taste of lime and roasted onion. #LaFiestaChico #BirriaTacos #SizzlingShrimp #ChicoEats #ItsTheLittleThings #ThePuddingCreekTrestle #FoodieFuel #GuacAndRoll #TacoJoy #FlavorTrip

I was surprised my mom even ordered Birria but she was happy she did. We didn't order chips and was happy we didn't because between the nachos and Birria quesadilla it was the perfect amount of food. Washed it down with a Modelo and couldn't have been happier! Makes me want to go back for the Birria Ramen!! The salsa was served in the cutest little clay containers on a beautiful clay heart plate. The dishes were great and so was the food - I highly recommend trying them out I'm sure the rest of the food is good too! Can't wait to try more from the menu.
