This diner hit the spot after a long drive. It was perfect we tried going to their sister diner and it had a 45 minute wait while this one a few blocks down had plenty of tables and we were greeted and seated immediately. The fries were excellent!!! They are thin cut in a french fry length but the thickness of a chip so they're crispy. Both the club sandwich and the fried chicken sandwich were on point. Bread was perfect, thick with just the right amount of crunch, a little more butter than I like but everyone else liked it. Omelette orders were mixed up but remade and back out very quickly. They were more like cheese omelettes with a protein and veggie thrown on top. I'm used to omelettes that have all the fixing mixed together and inside the omelette not haphazardly thrown on top of the omelette after the fact. Yelp needs to introduce the half star system. I think this place is 4.5 stars. I really love the inside decor and vibes. Staff are pretty awesome too. Then why not 5 stars? Because my low county skillet could be better: 1) too salty, just a bit too much. 2) the potato cubes are a bit undercooked. 3) while the skillet is hot itself, the food inside is not hot, only warm. 4) the crab cake on top is on the drier side. Yet, overall, you can definitely sense/taste the design element of this place. The extra thought really makes it stand out among any regular diners/breakfast/brunch places. I have had the pleasure of dining at this Treylor Park location twice already and each experience was outstanding! Shout out to Shorty who was our waiter and really did a great job. I ordered the Diner Club and my husband ordered the '77 Monte Carlo and both were delicious. Oddly, my favorite part of the trip ended up being the "chips" they provide with the sandwiches, which are basically like a very very thin seasoned french fry. They were amazing! Also, don't skip the drinks. We had a peach mule and it was way too much fun, especially with the large copper mug that it was served in. I also love the atmosphere of this restaurant as it is part diner part nerd chic with robots on the walls and obscure movies usually playing on the TV screens. We got here at around 1 pm on Thursday. There was no wait. We just popped in for a few drinks and apps. The cactus pear mimosa was so pretty and delicious. Sweet but also a tad tart. The size was nice. The wings were tasty. I believe there were 6 in the order. Sweet and salty combo was a nice change from regular Buffalo wings. The nachos were wonderful. Treylor Park Double Wide is a cute little spot on Bay Street for a quick breakfast. We were running errands and decided to give this place a try. The front looks unassuming. Walking into this small restaurant, it offers more than you would think. Varnished wood tables, concrete counter seating, funky decor and an open kitchen; we were liking what we were seeing. In the back, there are vintage PAC Man games that lead outside to an unexpected, adorable & tropical looking patio. The room was a bit busy and we watched a young girl work the room like a pro. She was taking several orders and finally seating the waiting guests with a great smile. We decided to sit at the counter where a young guy named Chandler assisted us. He was so sweet and friendly. He told us they have two other restaurants nearby called the Treylor Park and Hitch. My friend ordered the breakfast tacos and I ordered a biscuit and gravy. We added hash browns that came as a thing that looked like potato waffles. Everything was piping hot and very tasty. We tried the peach and passion fruit mimosas. They looked like plain champagne and each offered only a hint of the fruit. The other diners had a nice red or orange champagne glasses on their tables. While delicious, I was expecting a bit more juice. Overall we enjoyed our visit. It's a great spot for visiting tourists and business professionals working nearby. read more

A small group of us were very excited to go to this establishment since we all live in campers as full time RVers. Unfortunately, our waitress decided that it wasn't her day and to take it out on the busy restaurant. The young lady with the bad attitude and wicked glare, had to be asked a few times to refill our drinks which I guess was more of a hassle than a courtesy. Our food sat in the window for more than 20 minutes and the cook came out with our food and apologized a few times. When we were getting close to being done she told us that our group of 6 was going to have a 20% gratuity added, no where did it say that in the menu about this mandatory gratuity for what was a small group. She must have felt she burnt a bridge with us and that she wasn't going to get a tip from us so she added it. We are here visiting friends and they like to visit this chain of restaurants but have never left having not eaten any of the cold food that was delivered nor feeling like the server needed to see the bright side of her job and make the best of all the patrons that had just left. read more

We had such a good experience at Treylor Park for dinner that we wanted to come check out Double Wide for breakfast! I ordered their PB&J pancakes and was so excited when they came out with peach compote instead of a typical jelly. The layers of peanut butter throughout the pancakes was the perfect amount.
