He ran to grab a random towel and started cleaning, he apologized but it was not a sanitized towel. It kinda grossed us out. Every table must be cleaned and sanitized before seating guests, restaurant 101. I watched this process for the vast majority of the other tables, same towel. Sanitizer bottles and clean towels are paramount to prevent bacteria etc. The food was not hot and the bacon was cooked long ago and served at room temperature. The sausage links were the same, grill marked but cold in the middle. They offered gluten free options which were fine and appreciated. We also ordered the yucca fries, which are served with white queso. They were like regular potato fries, but more earthy and dense. The service was OK, but we had to ask for plates, even though the server saw us dripping empanada juice all over our napkins. (It's like, hello! Yes, plates would be good. Bring us plates.) I'm also not a fan of servers not writing down my order, and instead, trying to memorize everything I say. I'm not impressed! It makes me stressed!
