Unfortunately, our server, Conner, wasn't as welcoming. We upgraded to the bottomless mimosas, but every refill required us to flag her down. My brother and I each had around four mimosas, and not a single refill was offered proactively. It honestly felt like every pour was being rationed, as if the bottles were coming out of her own pocket instead of being part of the service we had already paid for. The most disappointing moment came when I flagged her down for one final refill. She told me, "I'm sorry, bottomless mimosas end at 3:00." I looked at the time...it was 3:02 p.m. After spending the entire meal chasing our server for refills, being denied over a two minute difference felt incredibly petty and left a bad impression. Because of the level of service, I chose not to tip waitress Conner. Instead, I gave my tip to the hostess and Mrs. Danielle because that's who genuinely elevated our experience. What surprised me most was Conner's reaction after noticing this, rather than handling it professionally, she visibly became upset, creating an awkward ending to what should have been a relaxing brunch. She checked with the kitchen and confirmed that they were. When I then spoke with a manager to report the dangerous misinformation I had been given, the situation only worsened. The manager attempted to deflect, claiming the hostess was "confused" and thought I was asking about a gluten allergy--despite me never mentioning gluten. It felt as though the management was more interested in covering their tracks than addressing a serious safety failure. After a hesitant and insincere check on my well-being, the manager promised to investigate and call me back once the server was in. It has now been over a week, and I have heard nothing. There is a "happy hour" on Monday but it's called Ouster mondays oysters are $1 and they have different specials that are not offered on the normal happy hour. The chicken wings were very crispy and came topped with a jalapeño relish. The relish had a citrusy taste to it or maybe it was the liquid from the pickled jalapeños. I liked the crispness of the chicken but I think the relish was too acidic for me. The Wagyu longaniza was my favorite, very strong beefy flavor. It came on top of salsa matcha which i thought was very tasty so much that I dipped the wings and burger in the sauce. The slice of radish on top gave it a nice texture and crunch. I see the Wagyu hotdog is on the oyster Monday special so I'm gonna have to come back and try that for sure. The burger was cooked nicely, medium as requested. It came topped with an egg, truffled onion jam, and cheddar cheese. The bun was nicely toasted and the egg and cheese added a nice rich element to it but I didn't care for the onion jam, it gave the burger an overall sweet profile.
