Tried it based on reviews. Food was mediocre at best. Service is very slow but they were very busy. We had a flatbread app which was the best thing we ate. For lunch had the grilled chicken panini and sausage pizza. Was just okay, nothing to write home about. Had to ask for some sauce/mayo for the sandwich bc a little bit dry. Place is amazing I made an opentable reservation for Friday lunch. Around 1:00 the place was packed. If you are a healthy eater this is the best menu I have seen in along time. I honestly wish there were more places to eat st like this place. I kept looking at pictures and wanted to try the quinoa burger. This place is quaint! When you walk in you definitely know someone is going to approach you to tell you they're vegan, but you gotta roll with it. Their food is as fresh as the prince of bell air and you can't go wrong if you're trying to be healthy healthy healthy. Like, you won't find a carb here, that's for sure. Unless you order one of their pizza options but only at risk of being stared down in disappointment by all of your gluten-free friends for the duration of the meal. I had the ramen and it was actually quite good. Definitely salty, which surprised me, but I love salt so I was here for it. I'm more of a eat some bread and then go for a jog kind of gal - but if you're into that fresh life of veggies, more quinoa than the eye can see, and more veggies, try this place! read more

Where do I even begin..? This place is amazing! Everything on the menu is clean and healthy. They have spectacular cocktails but even cooler is their menu of non-alcoholic elixirs. Some of my favorite dished on the menu include the turkey burger and the edamame soup thing ( I cant remember the name. We also had a delicious pizza as well. Sorry no pics, we ate the food too fast :) The manager on duty, Manfred, did an excellent job at recommending dishes to try. We sat at the bar and the service was excellent. I am giving this place 5 starts for several reasons. The decor and eco-chic ambience is great. The staff is extremely attentive. The ingredients are fresh. The menu is seasonal so it's currently the fall menu. I think it's great that they switch it up. I ordered the Forbidden Root cocktail to start. It was very good. Someone who I presume to be the owner or manager (I forget his unique name) asked my friend and I how we liked our entrees. I got the Dashi Ramen and my friend got the Korean Noodle Salad (which has no noodles). We both thought the ingredients tasted super fresh and the presentation was beautiful, but both tasted very bland. We were honest and told him and he kindly offered, even insisted, that we both choose a different entree. I got the Mediterranean Chicken Pita and my friend got the Lasagna Bolognese. We really enjoyed our new choices and thought they were very flavorful. I appreciate that the owner/manager went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience. If he hadn't gone out of his way to make sure we were satisfied, we both wouldn't have gone back, but because of the good service and being able to try something more flavorful off the menu, we will return. Went for dinner w my 92 yo dad who like me, likes healthy food. Menu was from a QR code scan (Covid-sanitary) and we'll laid out. He had the butternut squash soup, which was the best I'd ever had with nice, complex, subtle flavors. A generously-sized bowl. I had the charred cauliflower app, which had harissa tahini, dates & pistachios. It was also outstanding! He had the Ancient Grains bowl w shrimp - large and very tasty. We each had the butternut squash soup and all of us thought it was wayyyy too sweet and in the process of sitting at the bar eating we watched the prep chef spend an hour beautifully chopping all of these fresh squashes in front of us. She then went into the stove area, put all chopped pieces in a huge pot, came back out to prep area with two bags of DOMINO brown sugar (WTF???!!!) cut them open and walked back to pot and poured entire contents of both bags into pot....OMG, bummer!!! True Food Kitchen should be at the level they portray of using only wholesome ingredients...NOT PROCESSED SUGAR! Using maple syrup or coconut sugar would be way better... Also SAD that they take a healthy vegetable like nutritious green Brussels sprouts and cook/burn them to the point where they turn black & become carcinogenic :((( AND lastly, the vegetables in our teriyaki bowl tasted like burnt oil :((( it was very early in the day and the kitchen was not overburdened so they don't need to be flash cooking or rushing the orders. read more

I had never visited True Food Kitchen and am excited that they are all over the country. I began with some kind of alcohol-free elderberry drink that was delicious and really festive looking. At the recommendation of our server, I then had the Ancient Grains Bowl with a side of salmon. It was extraordinarily delectable, with an excellent combination of tastes. My husband tried a gluten-free pizza, which looked more like a flatbread, but still looked good. While we didn't have room for dessert, several in our group did and were happy with the selection and I did experience a slight moment of envy when their dishes were served. Terribly overrated. Horribly overpriced! I can't even begin to explain the outrageous prices for the small portion size. As an example, my entree was a chicken wrap $18 with a side of over seasoned kale. My friend a Poke Bowl $15, 4 smal dumplings $14. On top of this food was terrible! I have eaten at True Food Kitchen before in different states and the food is good but not my favorite so I tried it again in a Boca Raton FL. The server was friendly enough and I helped my husband pick out something I thought he would eat as he's not thrilled with their menu. I ordered the plain pizza and my husband got the chicken panini. He ordered a glass of orange juice and we both ordered a 9 ounce glass of white wine. My pizza was ok but a little too salty and my husband liked this panini. When the bill came and it was $95 dollars I couldn't believe it. The food order was $34 and the two glasses of wine were $25 each! What!?! Are you kidding me? I could have bought 4 bottles of Riesling for that price. I understand you have to pay more for alcohol but $50 for two glasses is absurd. With that being said I will probably eat there again but I won't order alcohol. Beware!!! read more

First, know that this is in mall. So ambience is ok but not the strength. That said, i liked this. Service was extremely friendly and there were enough interesting touches to the menu that I want to coms back and try a bunch of things-though I don' live here! :-) I had the lasagna based on my server's recommendation. Usually this is a risky choice but this place is very fresh in its approach and ingredients. Sweet potato noodles layered in lemon ricotta(hmm!) with spinach and bolognese. It was light, refreshing, a very good portion, and not so different that one would cry horror at changing a classic recipe. Very tasty indeed. Paired it with a refreshing black ice tea (they've got green as well) and this was a delightful meal. I'd very much recommend it...if you don't mind "mall restaurants!" Ordered the Panang Curry. Definitely disappointed in the lack of vegetables in this dish. One piece of book choy, the watermelon radishes were NOT-small in size and very few of them. I found one pice of carrot. A few pieces of onion. Mostly sauce, but a decent flavor. Would not order again. Not sure if I would return. Possible if I was shopping at the mall and was hungry.
