Today, Tim and his team member replaced our leaking garbage disposal, proactively replaced 13 plastic angle stop valves to brass ones, as well as repair our leaking bathroom faucets. Given the hard water here in Dublin, our faucets were not only leaking but the build up made the handles very difficult to turn . The faucet handles in our master and kids bath were both really bad cases and took a lot of time to resolve but Tim was able to get them to work again. I think we will need our faucets replaced at some point but Tim bought us some time. I think a key differentiator with Tim is that he charges by the job line item and not by the hour so there are no unpleasant surprises. Given the time spent, the outcome price was more than fair. Tim recently did three jobs for us as we moved into our new home - fixing a blocked kitchen drain , installing an under sink RO system for us and replacing an insinkerator unit that was leaking. I called TTL plumbing because I had to have a Faucet and in-sink hot water system replaced. I had attempted to do the job myself, however, I could not get the old faucet off of the sink due to a very old nut and thread. Our hot water went out. I arranged with another company to replace it. Long story short there was a 1.25" gas line blocking the heater from being removed. They basically passed on the installation. Based on reviews I called a couple of other companies. I spoke with Jade and sent some photos. TTL was the first that had an opening so I went with them and I'm glad I did. Tim gave a quote based on the pictures. He then came to look at it in person on Saturday. He stopped on his way to the mall with his daughter and was dressed in plain clothes. He spent a while looking at it and figuring it out. He even went in the crawl space in his good clothes to check where the gas line ran. I felt bad because it's filthy under there and he got very dirty. But no complaints from Tim! He came back Monday morning with a helper (Tim 2). It was a tough job and they spent the entire day (past 5:00) working on it. I was very happy with the way he rerouted the pipe and the quality of the installation. And despite all the hard work the final price was in his price estimate. Tim and Jade (and Tim 2) were a pleasure to work with and I feel they are "good people".
