This was one of the worst experiences I've had at an establishment in a long time. I came to celebrate my friend's birthday--she is wheelchair-bound but loves going out and enjoying club environments. Our group had 8 people total, including 2 people in wheelchairs, and one of them actually left early because she was so unhappy with the service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music was great, but that was the only highlight.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We paid $400 for what was supposed to be 2 bottles of bottle service. After waiting 30-45 minutes, they brought only ONE bottle with no cups, juice, ice, or mixers--nothing. We were told they would return with the rest, but they never did. Meanwhile, every other table with bottle service received full service right away. We asked multiple times for cups and mixers because we literally couldn't even enjoy the bottle. The food service was just as frustrating. I had to go inside and place my own order because I was forgotten. The food came quickly, and the turkey leg was tender and flavorful, but it was dry, just like the mac and cheese. Despite at least 3 people asking multiple times, no one ever brought the cups, juice, or ice until we demanded a full refund. Only then did someone bring cups and an ice bucket, but by that point we no longer wanted the bottles. Another person in our group had to go inside and demand a refund before they finally gave us $200 back. The staff was slow, unresponsive, and offered no apology. I honestly started questioning whether discrimination was involved because members of our party were in wheelchairs. No manager ever came to fix the situation. It ruined my friend's birthday and our entire night. We had other plans afterward, but after that experience--and still being completely sober--we all just went home. I will never return. read more

Turkey Leg Paradise is kind of one of those "hidden gem" places. The size of the restaurant is not super big, so it's perfect for a chill night. The service is great and the waitresses are polite. I chose the spicy mac turkey leg. The mac and cheese was fairly cheesy and went well with the turkey leg. The turkey leg itself was tender and flavorful. I love love love this place! The ambiance is always welcoming and the food matches that. My go to: the spicy Mac stuffed Turkey leg with sweet heat sauce drizzle - side of lotta tang sauce (thank me later). The koolaid slaps and so does the banana pudding! Top tier all the way around. TERRIBLE SERVICE These people are rude as hell and only care about taking your money... we had a problem with our $66 hookah that we purchased and we spent an hour asking different workers for a different one and instead of us getting a new one, one of the girls copped an attitude and tried to say we spilled water on the hookah so it's our fault and we needed to purchase another one. Like that doesn't even make sense ??? We paid $66 for hookah (which is outrageous) and then it only worked for about 20 minutes??? Why are we responsible for a new one ? Then I walk in the back to ask another worker for one and I run into the girl who said we needed to buy a new one and she's in the back bumping her gums mad for no reason and instead of them workin with me they call security on me trying to say that I was drunk . No one was drunk I just wanted my $66 worth of hookah. Hookah normally ranges from 35-50 dollars ... so clearly they ain't making enough money . To end this story the security ended up coming to drag me out instead of actually trying to ask what the problem is . I told him I can leave but my friend is outside so let me get my friend and he told me no I need to step aside . Then out of nowhere he manhandles me and picks me up and attempts to drag me outside. He never gave a warning saying that we needed to leave or never even said he was going to make us leave. AND Not one time did I come at these people rude , I simply asked for a new hookah but clearly these mfs is broke and act like they couldn't help the situation so therefore I'll never come back to this broke place cause clearly they need the money and clearly the security guards have no common sense and are just looking to start trouble out of nothing . First of all, they sat 6 of us without an issue. Prices were reasonable. Service was great (Meek was our server). We spoke with an owner and she was amazing. She and her husband are doing a great job. We will definitely be back. I've already reported to the family... Now for the food. Our appetizers were the mozzarella sticks and the turkey fries. The turkey fries are AMAZING!!!!! For entres we had: Nawlins Saint, Broccoli Rice Casserole and Four Cheese Cajun Pasta stuffer turkey legs; lemon pepper wings, plain wings, and chicken tenders; mac and cheese, French fries. All of the entrées were really good. The smoked turkey legs fell off the bone and were smoked really well (not pre-smoked). Honest review... I didn't like the turkey sandwich, it has the jerk flavor and it had a weird aftertaste. Not sure if maybe it's because the sandwich is like the leftovers from the Turkey leg but I just didn't like it at all. The catfish was very tasty! I'm mot sure if it was real domestic catfish or Swai but it did have nice seasoning and was an excellent value. I also got the mac and cheese which didn't have any sauce but still had a great flavor. It was like sticky noodles. I also didn't like that they only accept to go orders paying card over the phone. Why can't I place my order then pay in cash or by card in person? Ridiculous! Now the drink .... why is this small club drink $9? They should know better. Definitely would skip out on that next time. They could improve on the actual establishment's look. I've tried on several occasions to eat at the Turkey Leg Hut in Houston Tx with no luck, and when I found out there was a "fall off the bone" Turkey leg spot in Dallas, I HAD to try it. I came in during a slow day, early, before the crowds usually catch lunch. It was quiet, but one of the bartenders came over and handed us a menu. Not much small talk, but friendly enough. We looked over the menu and noticed the prices were definitely something this place and the TLH have pretty much the same. I really didn't want to spend too much, but I figured I needed to get enough items to give a proper review. We picked a few items off the menu which included; a Cajun pasta stuffed Turkey leg, and Lotta Tang BBQ Turkey leg, some Buffalo wings, and some fried crawfish tails. The starter, fried crawfish tails, we're not bad on flavor, but the breading was just a bit too heavy for such a small piece of meat, but the fries were crispy and fresh. I do love me some crinkle-cut fries! The Buffalo wings were delicious. Sort of odd to eat with a slice of bread, not sure I've ever seen that, but I took it happily and put some chucks of chicken with Buffalo sauce on it, and some of the fries, then dipped it in the ranch. Yummy! Now, the spotlight items, the Turkey Legs. The plain BBQ Turkey leg indeed did fall off the bone, however, as much as it hurts me to write badly about the main item, it was not very much to my liking, and here's why; Turkey legs, when smoked properly, should have a pinkish color to it when bitten into. Just because it was falling off the bone, didn't make it taste amazing or have good texture. It was actually over cooked... and i could tell by the grayish color of the meat that it was not smoked to tenderness, but actually just wrapped in foil and overcooked to tenderness, likely in an oven. The flavor was not very good. It was more of just oven roasted Turkey, sort of like thanksgiving. The Cajun pasta stuffed leg was not any better. It was obviously cooked the same way, and honestly, they weren't very hot, as if they just nuke them to re-heat. Another thing I didn't understand was why they would put Turkey chunks into the pasta?.. it already being served on a Turkey leg.. and even then, it only had like 2 small pieces of Turkey meat and maybe 3 small bits of sausage. I'm upset to have to give this place such a low score, but that is really my honest review of it. I will return after some time has past and I truly hope they improve their menu. Be aware, their line can get super long and if it's summer, be ready to stand in line for at least 30 minutes. Their restaurant is not open but they do have an outside area that you can sit it. Only two families are allowed inside to order food due to COVID-19. They have smothered turkey legs, spiced turkey legs, good sides, and Kool Aid! The burger was the most delicious thing! Fried pickles were good too. The turkey legs were Awful. Trash, trash. I was so disappointed. We waited about 40 minutes until the food arrived and it was awful. I got the Cajun pasta turkey leg. The turkey leg was extremely overcooked. So the texture of the meat was definitely tough. It wasn't falling off the bone EVEN a little. The turkey leg had no flavor at all. Like there was no season on it. The pasta was not good, not flavorful at all. You get a large portion but it's just not good. We literally tried to eat as much as we could bc we were so hungry and didn't wanna waste our money but we just couldn't eat it. We ended up eating off of my four year old God daughters burger instead. The service was awful. Not a very friendly staff at all. I don't want to be too harsh because the restaurant is still in their soft opening phase and working through all of the kinks. I sat at the bar and we able to meet the owner (who was also bar tending.). He was extremely open about changes he was planning to make with items on the menu. The food is clearly made to order. You can tell because it comes out piping hot and we waited over an hour. The catfish was well seasoned and the casserole was a bit watery but flavorful. My friend got a side of macaroni with her catfish and it was not good at all. I didn't read the reviews prior to going, so like previous posts, we thought the jerk turkey leg was going to be a dry rub but it wasn't. It was actually covered in bbq sauce. I'm not a fan of bbq sauce so I wasn't a fan of that dish. Being that the wait for the food was so long we had plenty of time to chat with others sitting at the bar.
