Very yummy, awesome gluten free selection but service could be faster and it's too expensive for the portion sizes

They CLAIM to have vegan options, yet the last 4 times I have ordered a vegan meal, I find lovely chunks of dead flesh in it. I believe it's been chicken flesh every time. I would love to be a fly on the wall and see how the kitchen prepares their so called "vegan" meals. Unless their veggie/tofu container is placed next to the dead flesh containers, I don't see how this can happen. What I truly think happens is they still cook the vegan meals on the same cooking surface that they prepare all the dead flesh-containing meals. Sorry Twisted BBQ boys n girls, but doing so turns a vegan meal..... filthy, and renders it no longer vegan (reminds me of someone who cooks a roast and says "you can pick the veggies out, right?!" ). It's so funny to see places change their gloves and use a separate pan when someone cries gluten-free, but when it comes to a vegan meal where someone doesn't want dead flesh or animal secretions in their food, you can't do the very same? I don't want to eat just a little bit of filth; I want to eat NONE. It's 2019, it's time to give a shit. To think you do "vegan" meal prep too?? Fuuuck that. Id expect more from some renown "chef". Maybe it's the high school/college kids in the kitchen who are cooking and fucking this up. Either way, that needs to be a crucial part of their training. Otherwise, don't false advertise and say you have vegan options when you don't. read more

Although this place is rare and healthy, it simply is not the best at all. It is one of the few establishments to eat, in fact maybe the only quick casual place to grab food in the the quiet and quaint historic downtown St. George. So it is easy to see that ending up here can happen pretty easily. The food is not all that great just being deli level. The biggest problem of all though is the price. For one person, it can be $11-$12 getting very little food. The sandwich is small and the side portions are far too small. Some may or may not like it but there are different off-brands of soda instead of Coke or Pepsi products. I personally didn't like the taste and prefer the standard. All in all, this place is below average. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE. When you've got food allergies it is hard to find a restaurant that is safe to eat at. They have been good about knowing exactly what is in the food and are great about making substitutions. I haven't ever gotten sick after eating here, which is huge for me. read more

It was OK. Veggie pasta with marinara & add chicken and bread sticks. Pasta was good. The cut for the noodles was nice and thick. Breadsticks were dry and rubbery. Husband ordered sundried tomato & turkey burger. Meat was good, bun was dry and crumbley. Pumpkin cookies were very good. Meal for 2 was $24. The food was great. Had the teriyaki turkey burger with the home made chips and it was delicious. I can't remember what my wife had but she liked it. It's good food that doesn't make ya feel fat and unhealthy after. I felt it was a little pricey for what ya get but not bad. This is my absolute favorite lunch spot. I really appreciate having a healthier alternative instead of fast food. The food is always fresh, and you actually know what you are eating. I suggest the wraps, especially the Asian chicken wrap, the grilled chicken hummus flatbread, and the Spicy Quinoa Bowl. I've read some of the negative reviews and I will say this.. if you are looking for family style LARGE helpings this is not your spot. They give correct portion sizes. If you are looking to feed a family of 12 on a tight budget this is not your spot. The prices are a bit higher...WHY? Because they are actually cooking with REAL high quality food. Not processed cheap canned or boxed food. Anyone who is on the road to eating clean and healthy knows that its not the cheapest or easiest diet to follow. The Twisted Noodle offers quality food at a fair price. There is not a dollar menu here, obviously. I personally love this place because they have different options than every other place in town. Has anyone counted how many burger places we have in a 5 mile radius? Where else can you go to get a quinoa bowl? No where but The Twisted Noodle. I cannot express enough how delicious the food is here! It's just an added bonus that the food is also healthy and fresh to boot. The menu is very thoughtful and health conscious. It caters to an array of different diet preferences such as gluten free and vegan, which is hard to find. Everyday, there is always something new and fresh being offered on special, which keeps things interesting. I've been waiting to find a place like this in southern utah! Some of the best food I have ever had! The southwestern chicken caesar wrap is amazing that is full so many flavors and they have homemade potato chips. And the special "chicken green curry coconut quinoa" was the best curry I have had. Plus the addition of guacamole and lime really made it! Healthy and really good food. So happy to have a healthy place to go out to eat in St. George! On my birthday I was sick from all the crap if eaten all day, and my body was telling me I needed some Twisted Noodle! So we went for dinner and I got the Sesame Chicken Wrap and it saved me. I felt 100 times better than before I ate there. I have several people in my life that have Celiac's disease, and this place has Paleo menu options so it's perfect for them. Not to mention the beautiful outdoor courtyard area to eat in. customer service is always great. Sometimes I don't know what things are and they are very knowledgeable and helpful! They are very nice people. The food that we had was just not very good. I got pesto pasta and there was barely any sauce. And what sauce was there had no flavor. My husband got the Alfredo, he liked it okay, the sauce was really watery. My first impression isn't one that would make me go back for the food. read more

I was traveling through St. George from Best Friends Animal Sanctuary with my daughter on my way home to New York and was searching for a healthy eatery that was quick. We found Twisted Noodle Cafe right in the center of town - great location. It was delicious! I had the asian quinoa bowl and my daughter had one of the wraps. Stay away from the bean burger. It was a soggy mess. It completely crumbled up in my hand after the first bite. Too bad. The bun had such promise but it could not stand up to the sauce or avocado which turned out to be some kind of watery guacamole. I have had much better dishes here in the past. I was super excited to try this healthy restaurant while in St. George, and I will say the food is just okay, not great. BUT...BUT the kicker was the way we were treated. My daughter ordered the creamy pesto noodles and they came with a watery sauce and no pesto flavor, which as you know pesto is delicious and very strong in flavor. So when we asked for more sauce, they brought out more watery sauce. So then we talked to the employees and asked if we could exchange it for something else and they said we had to buy a new meal. So we then asked for a manager and when he came out he said "I assure you there is pesto in there" took the bowl, threw it away and walked away. No sorry, what can I get you, or sorry you don't like it what can I do. Just a complete snub. Is this how you treat customers? This is my favorite restaurant in St. George! Especially great if you are a vegan, like me, because St. George has very limited vegan options so it's nice. I can only speak for my husband and myself, but we found the place underwhelming. The environment was cold, the staff was kind, but the food was average, well below average. We prefer to eat vegan and when we asked for a list or to identify the vegan items, the register person could not find the vegan menu and just carelessly rattled off what could be vegan. My salad was served in a prep bowl, which as a diner, I find not cool or chic or hip, but rather lazy. It was wobbly and awkward to eat from and felt unfinished. My daughter had a penne pasta with marinara, which was creamy looking, so I asked the cook who delivered if it contained dairy...that is a simple question, he didn't know! He had to go ask. That was off putting, the person in the kitchen does not know if the sauce has dairy? I would venture to guess less is prepped on site than the diner is led to believe. After several times of eating at this establishment and being served lower than mediocre food I came and ate my lunch I got from a local establishment down the road was was asked by an extremely rude employee (older Caucasian balding man) to "like move" because the (from my understanding and no signs saying other wise) public seating was full and the needed room for their costumers. Mind you I was able to see 3 visible open tables. Another reason I'll never visit this place. In the 20 years of living here I have never been asked to "like move" from that seating area. read more

Cute counter service restaurant with a creative and healthy menu. Fruit infused water options for free and homemade lemonades to order. I had the SW chicken quinoa bowl. It was good but too salty and I was given guacamole on top even though I had told them I couldn't eat tomatoes (which were mixed in). My husband had the sesame chicken wrap with a side of chili. The side was a nice portion and very tasty. read more

Food was ok. The chicken chunks were too large, somewhat overcooked, & needed to be pounded flat before cooking. We had to cut them up. Not a lot of flavor in my quinoa chicken avocado bowl. This is a fun, casual restaurant. We stopped on our way from Zion back to Las Vegas for our flight. We had been eating a lot of TexMex and wanted something light and healthy. The restaurant was busy, but the service was excellent. You order at the counter and they bring you your meal. I had the Asian Noodle bowl and it was amazing! Great flavors in the dressing. My husband had the Southwestern Chicken Caesar Wrap and said it was very good. They have seating outside by a small fountain, which is where we sat. Servings are generous and fairly priced. A note of caution if you are unfamiliar with the location. The restaurant is in an office building and the entrance is on the side of the building. Signage is flat on the building, so use the address to find it, the sign is a bit hard to see. Highly recommend. read more

twisted noodle is a nice cafe, the little desserts are amazing. however, the food is sub par every time i've gone. the alfredo pasta today tastes like cardboard and for 13 dollars, it was incredibly disappointing. best for a quick dessert pick me up or if u have dietary restrictions. but not beyond that read more
