Won't go there again...Won't recommend to anyone We went there for lunch with our friends and ordered pizzas and garlic bread which never came after waiting for an hour... Nobody cared to inform that why our order is taking time so we went to their counter and kept asking them about our order?? Nobody even cared to inform if it is taking that much time..And after 45 mins also same story. Then we asked them to give garlic bread at least and they were like yes we are checking.. Why the hell it takes an hour for a garlic bread? And also to note there was no rush on that day... And finally after an hour we again went and they said we don't have the cheese that you ordered that's why it is taking time, then say that at the time of order right that it is gonna take an hour or more than that. FINALLY we said we don't want any food from here just cancel the order. They didn't have even courtesy to say even sorry or anything. On top of that she was showing attitude to us.. From a straight cheese slice of pizza review, this place gets 2 stars. Soooo much cornmeal on the bottom that it tasted strange and not a filling bite. Very thin flavorless slice of pizza. Now, the atmosphere is great. A few local beers on tap and good service makes this a tougher review. It seems like their specialty pies might be a better option. I would recommend trying to tweak the formula or else this place is just not for me. read more

I've been coming off and on to Two Boots in Park Slope for about 3 years now, typically ordering Pizzas to go, on the way home from a long day. The other day as I skimmed the other areas of their menu I discovered Eggplant Parmesan Sliders. Best. Decision. Ever! These 3 mini gobs of eggplant Parmesan stuck between garlic knots are amazing and I'm hooked. Just don't forget to ask for extra sauce, because I like 'em saucey! Sliders are just enough for a meal even though it's in the appetizer menu and still great if you save them for later and reheat ( that's if you didn't eat them all in one go!) read more

I went out to order a pizza from La Villa, arguably the neighborhood's best Italian restaurant/pizzeria, only to find them closed for the 4th of July. This recently-opened Two Boots pizzeria is on the next corner, so I opted for that and ordered a pie with double-sausage. The promised fifteen-minute wait ended up being forty and the so-called double-topping was of the ground sausage variety and quite sparse in distribution hidden over an over-abundance of cheese. That disappointment cost just over $25 and was virtually flavorless in the manner of pizza intended for undemanding children and drunks or stoners with a bad case of the munchies. I suppose I have been spoiled by the far superior pizza quality and more generous portioning of the toppings at La Villa, but the aforementioned criticisms will lead me to avoid Two Boots from now on. Second time I've ordered from here as the first BBQ pizza I had was very good. Second time around and it doesn't taste the same at all. It doesn't taste of BBQ and actually isn't very nice. We got a half and half pizza with artichokes, olives and ham on the other side, only to find out they have put the ham on the wrong side of the pizza. Really disappointing, complete waste of money. Seriously please do not order from this establishment . They truly do not care about their product for the people who they serve. There are so many other small businesses that do. Please order from them instead. My family ordered a simple pizza which took over an hour to get. Once we got the pizza it was inedible. I called to make this known and to have a order re-delivered. It took over another hour to get the new pizza. When I called to ask where the order was they were snarky and dismissive. There are only two things They have to do, make a decent pizza and make the client happy through their service. They did neither. There was an opportunity for them to redeem themselves. Took my first grade kids here on a field trip last week. Dennis and his staff were so warm and welcoming. They talked to us about the origin of pizza, and how to make it. They provided us with instructions for stretching out the dough, and were very generous with the toppings for the kids. The pizza was delicious- both kids and chaperones left with full bellies! Consistently underwhelming. Was very excited when this place opened as my family misses the old place on 2nd St. This new outpost doesn't even come close. Their pizzas are uninspired and the taste is fairly meh. Service is generally mediocre. WOW, thats all I can say. Its been a long time since I can say I have thoroughly enjoyed pizza. I had the cajun pizza, pepperoni, plain, all i can say is thank goodness for two boots. For a long time alot of pizzerias have been slacking in flavor, in sauce, in freshness. Seldom do you come across a pizzeria that wows you. This place has done it for me. Conveniently located on 5th ave, this small parlour gives you that community feel/ The prices are reasonable and the food is FRESH FRESH FRESH. I am so pleased with this location that on a few occasions I passed up eating at the larger scaled restaurants just to get 2 slices here. What also a great enjoyment is they have TV's. Which allow for the average sports fan to divulge in both food and sports. The slices are delictable, full of flavor. The sauces are robust and not watered down like most pizzerias. This is a must try. I have been here 5 times, and I have seen the staff treat all customers like regulars (even those who have been there for the first time). Two boots gets TWo thumbs up from me. read more

Its good... but we are in Brooklyn and there a LOT of good local pizza spots. I have ordered delivery and done pick up here. The restaurant is fun and the themed pizzas are clever - its great if you're a vegan, vegetarian or GF as they really cater to those kind of eaters which is nice. For gluten free pizza it's really good, the Newman is my favorite.

I heard the old location closed down so I was pumped to hear that Two Boots opened a new location in Park Slope. I actually like the atmosphere at this location better than the old one. The constantly deliver on good pizza. I went with just the classic pepperoni pizza here and not the signature slice. Not only is the pizza delicious, but Dennis, the owner, is one of the most gracious and accommodating restaurant owners in the neighborhood. After a quick last minute panic, we decided to change my son's second birthday party location from our home to Two Boots on 5th avenue in Park Slope. I want so much to like them. Their pizza is really great, but after the last two experiences dealing with total mess-ups on my delivery order I don't think I will be going back. The first time they simply failed to process or even show up with my order (they blamed some kind of Seamless/computer glitch---but had a really bad attitude about it). My calm boyfriend got on the phone with them and secured a free pizza to be claimed in the future. I just tried to call them to order it tonight and (1) got told that it was only 50% off and that (2) they would take my number and call me back. That was 30 mins ago. I tried calling again only to be told that, as a means of apology they would comp my pizza order (which they should have done in the first place), but they would have to call me back in 2 mins. That was 15 mins ago. I just ordered from somewhere else. I suspect I won't hear from them tonight. The only unfortunate part is that I won't get to tell them they have lost my business forever. read more

Ordered their Grandma style pizza tonight. The dough / crust was possibly the worst I've ever had. It tasted like it was a week old, stale and tough. The pie itself was a poor example of a Grandma style pizza, wet and watery without much taste. I'm bummed because I was excited that two boots was back in the neighborhood. If you want a decent Grandma pizza hit up Roma or head down to Lenny's. I gave a second star because the delivery guy was quick and friendly. read more

It had been a long time since I'd been here and I didn't realize they had a Vegan pie now. SOO GOOD. Crust is a little thicker than a lot of NY slices and is delicious. Artichokes, pesto, mushrooms, onions, special sauce... yum, yum YUM. And they deliver to my work and have Boylan's ginger ale. And Abita Purple Haze if I'm eating there. This review breaks my heart. I loveddddd this place, but based on my last visit I will unfortunately never return. As usual I ordered my gluten free pizza and there were two young guys working. I saw him cut a pizza with the same knife that he than cut my gluten free pizza with. He swore he washed it but I didn't see that. Anyway, I explained I'm sorry I have a bad allergy and will be sick and he responded by saying well maybe you shouldn't eat pizza here if you have an allergy. He also told me well I've never seen you before so your not a regular customer... Meanwhile I am there at least once a week. Well thank you kid! I will NEVER eat anything from this place again nor will anyone in my household. Every person who I have recommended to go to your restaurant now knows it is not safe to eat at.. What a shame!
