This was my 1st time visiting everything was great. My omelet was very good and I left feeling full. My boyfriend had French toast with fresh fruit on top which was very delicious as well. There was a little wait before being seated because area is a bit small and packed but once seated service was smooth and fairly quick. I also sampled some of a fresh homage sweet tea and I ended up ordering one to go. Will be back again.

This is a very cute little spot that I happened to see on Apple Maps. It was close to my hotel and it looked like it would be a pretty good place to eat by myself. The food was incredible. The kickin chicken omelette may be the best omelette have ever had. The salsa is outstanding. The creamy grits were also great. The mimosa with fresh squeezed orange juice was outstanding. I cannot recommend this place enough. The service was amazing and the food was perfect.

We were looking for a breakfast place to sit down and have a bite to eat. They were quite busy and we waited a while for a table. We also waited a little while for our food as to how busy they were. It was OK, the veggie Benedict was flavorful, but kind of one note. The potatoes were standard and the crêpes are probably the most delicious part of our meal. The grits were a little bit too creamy if that's possible! Not my favorite I've had in my lifetime. We also never got water and waited almost to the end of our meal for it. The service was OK but they were just busy. It also was a bit warm inside, which was odd as I think they had the air-conditioning going. Not sure we would return again.

Excellent food. Omelette was done perfectly! Hosted was great. I had a 20 min wait and ended up getting a seat at the bar. Multiple people milling around behind the bar .... No acknowledgment, hello, can I get you water or coffee or any such interaction. After 10 mins. I simply had to just get ornery and raise my voice!to ask for some service. We ordered the BBQ shrimp with added scrambled eggs and a side of bacon, the crab cake Benedict, Papa's French toast, and the homemade cucumber basil lemonade with unlimited refills. At first glance, you wouldn't think this is a traditional Louisiana soul spot, but the food tells a completely different story. Everything came out fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. Each dish was well-seasoned and clearly made with care and love. If you're looking for a brunch spot in New Orleans, this place is a must-go. 9.1 out of 10.

Thank you, Yelpers, for turning me on to a great diner. Beautiful space, friendly ladies, GREAT FOOD, water, and coffee. Ate the custom omelette: Gruyere cheese, mushrooms, green spinach. Plus potatoes and toast. I could only eat half of it. I needed my coffee or I would have loved Cucumber Lemonade or European cocktails made with Prosecco (Italian white wine with a fruity flavor). Two Chicks Café is near the port and convention center, tucked inside a large commercial building. The space has a bright, modern feel with plenty of natural light, cheerful colors, and a clean, welcoming vibe. There's a mix of tables and booths, and the layout feels open without being crowded. It was already busy when we stopped in for breakfast, which says a lot about its popularity. Once we were seated, the service was fast and friendly. The food came out quickly, which was great since the place was full. Everything we ordered was really good. My son loved his Nutella crepe and pointed out it had more Nutella than most places we've tried, so it's perfect if you've got a sweet tooth. The omelet and Benedict were both well made and full of flavor. It's easy to see why this café draws a steady crowd. A bright and lively spot with good food and friendly service.

The second location of Two Chicks Cafe on Gravier was one of the first brunch places I visited when I moved to New Orleans. It always stood out to me as having a unique Eggs Benedict, using a croissant instead of the traditional English Muffin. I've been to this location a couple of times. It's tucked away inside of a hallway and you kind of have to know it's there. The space is limited but they do squeeze a few tables into that space and they can accommodate multiple sized groups. If you are there with one or two people the bar is available for a fun experience. I decided to venture away from my favorite Eggs Benedict and got the Under the Sea Omelet. And I switched out the toast for a croissant to make up for it. The omelet was good but didn't hit the spot like I knew the Eggs Benedict would. The croissant was disappointing by itself. Service: Good! The server was quick to respond. Drinks: Definitely many options here. Outside Seating: Nope. Parking: Paid parking and a little tough with it being next to the convention center.

First breakfast cafe in nola and I am surprisingly shocked at how delicious everything was. The french toast has cornflakes on it so it makes it crunchy and flavorful. My bf thoroughly enjoyed his meal. The french toast were thick and very filling. I recommend to share this with others because it's dense. 10/10 The bbq shrimps & grits was delightful. I never had grits and so I wanted to try it. I loved the flavor of the whole dish. Very well balanced and not overpowering of bbq. The dish is very filling. I could not finish it. 10/10 The portions here are pretty big. I recommend to share it amongst one another. The cafe is a cozy small cafe shop. There's quite a bit of seats and also counter top seating too. The service was good. They are really nice and attentive.

This is is a very convenient location as it is located close to the Convention Center and there are cruise pickup/drop offs right outside this building. We arrived around 10am on a Saturday and were seated within 5 minutes although the restaurant was packed. The cold brew is strong! I saw many people order smoothies or juices which is a great option for a hot day (going through a heat wave upon our visit in June). I got the BELT Eggwich which was awesome, I practically inhaled this sandwich. I did not detect much jalapeño on the bread but overall, this is a classic egg breakfast sandwich. My fiancé got the Farmhouse Omelet which was very tasty. There were lots of tomatoes and the smoked turkey was great. This was a short distance from our hotel and was recommended by a staff member. It was suggested to try the shrimp and grits!! Once there, we were immediately greeted and seated, party of 5 around 10am on a Monday. The decor was cute and simple. The staff was friendly and very helpful with the menu selection. I was immediately impressed at the menu stating only fresh squeezed juice. I can't remember which one I had but it had Fiji apple in it and it was sweet and very delicious. May cousin had a smoothie and said it too was good and was tasting the vanilla. Someone else ordered apple juice and that for sure, was fresh squeezed apple juice. The Thai Po'Boy was very tasty, almost like a sweet chili sauce but with no heat to it. It was delicious. I tasted the shrimp and grits and OMG, they were the best. Not everyone can make grits but this cooked knew what they were doing. Consistency was on point, shrimp cooked and seasoned perfectly and toasted bread. It was so filling. My first meal here in New Orleans and it was right around the corner from my hotel. You can't make reservations, just walk in and stand by the little em booth and wait to be seated. Luckily, the wait is wasn't long and we were able to be seated within 10/15 minutes. Our server was really nice and it seems like everyone in there worked as a team. Now next, this bomb breakfast: ~ Bacon and Andouille Sausage - Soooooooo good! ~ Creamy Grits - definitely creamy and had a wonderful flavor. ~ Papas French Toast - TOP TIER. Crispy on the outside and soft and delicious inside ~ Eggs - eggs are eggs lol Overall, I would definitely come back and have a nice meal one day! I would love to try lunch one day! read more

This is my wife's favorite brunch spot. It's a nice spot to get you a simple breakfast/brunch. The service is always good, all the waitress are very nice! The place gives a cool colorful hippy vibe. The food is great you know what to expect every-time you go, they are very consistent. The Under the Sea Omelet is a beast stuffed with Shrimp & Crab they don't short you on the seafood. Thats a plus most restaurants wouldn't do that. The pancakes are made good as well they have a nice brown Carmel color, and they are very sweet. Overall this spot is real solid if you're looking for a nice brunch! read more

I ordered the Under the Sea Omelette. The picture doesn't do justice as this omelette was MASSIVE. There must have been 12 eggs in the omelette. It was very tasty and delicious; however very heavy and rich. The dish could have easily been shared by two people. The service was great and our waitress kept checking in on us and refilling our coffees. We went on a Friday so the line wasn't too bad. However when we walked past the restaurant on Saturday the line was down the block, so plan accordingly! read more

Our UBER driver recommended this place and because we were planning on going to the convention center to tour the Louisiana Civil Rights Museum this was very convenient. Place gets crowded fast. They serve breakfast all day. Location: there are 2 locations. This one is located inside a building w other restaurants. A key is needed for the restroom which is shared w other tenants Food: I had the Papa's French toast. The toasts were thick and delicious dipped in vanilla rum. I opted not to have powdered sugar. My daughter had the potato bowl w andouille sausage and side sourdough and sunny side eggs. My sis and mom shared the under the sea omelette w side sourdough bread. They both enjoyed their dish cooked just right. The Grits was very, very good that we all shared it. Price: is very reasonable. Staff: she was very nice, patient and attentive. Venue: very busy restaurant. I'm sure they get a lot of ppl from the convention center. It's clean. I recommend this place. Enjoy! read more

Just arrived in town the night before. We were so happy to discover that this well regarded place was close to our hotel in the Warehouse District. Walked on over. It was a bit hard to find because it was inside a commercial building. Coffee was outstanding as was the breakfast Po Boy that we shared, along with a side of delicious cheesy grits and a side of fresh fruit. Plenty for two! The service was friendly and helpful. We left happy to set off on our first day of adventures in NOLA! The other reviewers are right! Get on over there! read more

Enter the small mall entrance to get to the front. Colorful harvest and flower mural on the back wall. Whimsical wall design. Eclectic mismatched tables and seats. It's good thing it's the weekday. I could see this place being quite busy on the weekends. Ordered a fresh OJ, health bowl, Turkey fig on a croissant and a crab Benedict with a side of fruit and a la carte side of Turkey sausage. $50.94. OJ tastes fresh, not super sweet or flavorful, but okay. They have a juicer behind the bar. My Turkey fig and goat cheese croissant looks a bit mangled. The fig is a spread. Sandwich is not bad. Same Turkey meat for the Turkey side, was thinking it would be an actual sausage. The turkey meat is nice, nicely roasted and quite flavorful too. The health bowl was good. The crab Benedict was decent, the crab cake was good. The croissant scaling is a bit off with the small crab cake though. Need a bathroom key to use the restrooms. read more

We were staying nearby and as a foodie, I'm always looking for some cool local places to eat. Two Chicks Cafe was a short walk away and is located in the lobby of a building near the port and Convention Center Blvd. We got there right when they opened at 8:00 am & there was already a line (good sign). Note there are plenty of hotels nearby + the convention center so get there early or expect to wait. The staff was friendly although they seemed a bit overwhelmed the morning we dined there. The menu offers the typical items you would expect along with some local favorites. They also have fresh squeezed juices & smoothies too. I had the grits bowl with sauteed veggies. We also had a fresh juice with kale, spinach, carrot, lime, apple + ginger. Everything was so good and fresh. We will definitely be back next time we are in town as this is better than the typical hotel food. read more

It was our frst time visiting and left feeling underwhelmed and unsure if we'd need to go back. We were able to get a seat pretty quickly, since there were only 2 of us, which was great. They were pretty busy though, but seemed to be crankin' out food pretty quickly. We both ordered the crab cake benny, and BOTH of ours the eggs were overcooked. They were not poached at all. It almost had the texture and look of a hard-boiled eggs. So our dish lost a lot of flavor from the yolk not pouring out onto the rest of the meal.The crab was tasty..and you could actually take the crab. A few Yelp searches later and we ended up here....2 chicks heading to "Two Chicks Cafe." This place is small and quaint, but hidden inside of another establishment. We were greeted and seated immediately. bbq shrimp and grits- chefs kiss! A must get.. fresh squeezed orange juice- you gotta quench your thirst with the #1 breakfast beverage! It had just the right amount of pulp. Not sure which orange tree those grew on, but I need a few of those myself. Gotta keep the immune system boosted with Vitamin C. Crab cake Benedict- ehh they were ok. My friend didn't care for the Cajun hollandaise sauce that comes on it, but she enjoyed the entree once she had it made without the hollandaise. What's a Benedict with hollandaise....qtna! Overall service, food, and atmosphere was enjoyable. If you're in the area check it out! read more

Small and quaint spot. Being an appetite because you get a ton of food. The French toast with cornflakes is great and comes with bananas and strawberries. The croissant sandwich with sausage was amazing and flavorful. Our waitress was very sweet and came to check in multiple times. Highly recommended!! read more

We had a fantastic breakfast here this morning! They were super busy but we still managed to get seated after a reasonable wait. Service was great, everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Freshly made juice was a nice touch. Husband had an omelette and I had the crab cake Benedict. Good, mostly simple food. Served fast and hot. I ordered a grits bowl with fresh juice. Honestly, these were probably the best grits I've ever eaten. I'm sure they used a whole stick of butter. The service was friendly, what you'd expect at a diner type of place. It could have been a bit more clean. Tables felt a little sticky. The lady at the hostess stand was amazing- she was killing and I told her so. Our witness seemed overwhelmed which I think lead to her being slow, it took us 40 minutes to be served our breakfast. BUT the food, the creativity of the menu, top notch. Went back a 2nd time, but they were closed. Living in Las Vegas, you don't expect places to be closed. LOL. Service was a little slow, it took a while to make drinks and I didn't feel like our server followed up with us unless we had requested it. Also be prepared to wait at least 10 mins if you get a juice made. The eggs were really good, I got mine scrambled with Gruyère- which I enjoyed as a cheese option. The breakfast potatoes were over cooked and somewhat greasy. When I tried to pick them up with my fork they would fall apart. Crispier breakfast potatoes would have been better. Made a mile walk trip to this restaurant for breakfast from our hotel and it wasn't a let down. When we arrived it seemed pretty busy but we were sat right away and drinks placed. I ordered the French toast which had cornflakes on the outside. I believe it was called papas French toast. It was excellent. The corn flakes added a nice crunch. I've never been somewhere that asks how you'd like your bacon like I was here. I hate soft/chewy bacon so having it extra crispy was great. Service was great and friendly. Food was tasty. Went to two chicks uptown across from the convention ctr. The place was really cute but honestly we didn't enjoy the food. I got the "classic benedict" (pictured) which was less than classic with the nearly inch thick ham steaks on a croissant that made it really hard to eat. Plus it had a "cajun" hollandaise which was deep orange in color and tasted like someone spilled a whole bottle of crystal in it. It was extremely sour & vinegary making it totally overpowering and just not good. The grits however were nice n creamy but lacked seasoning as per usual with restaurant grits. And that was all that came with my plate. The caramel laté I ordered was not bad. My daughter ordered the cajun sandwich which had smoked sausage, cold shredded cheese and pickles which she said tasted really strange and kinda gross. Our server was uh, very dull for lack of better words. She wasn't friendly and she wasn't mean, just to the point. Not very welcoming or friendly at all. Kinda like she didn't want to be there. The decor, the food and the staff were wonderful! Chose this place as a GF option because they could swap out the bread for GF bread. My GF friend chose the potato bowl instead and loved it. I was quickly greeted at the entrance by a friendly smile, and that welcoming vibe was maintained throughout my dining experience. Great menu - decent variety, many dishes with a fun twist. I ordered the crab cake eggs Benedict - poached eggs over crab cakes on a croissant, with Cajun hollandaise. Unbelievably delicious. A side of fresh fruit, bananas and strawberries, rounded out with a hot mocha beverage. This was such a cute brunch place in the Central Business District! The prices are very reasonable and you can come here and easily get breakfast, brunch, or lunch. One thing to keep in mind though is that they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Their menu is simple, but the food is very fresh and there are New Orleanian special foods that you can find on the menu such as Po-Boys. I had the Shrimp and Grits which came with small pieces of a baguette and it was really delicious. Not only was the food great at Two Chicks, but the service was absolutely outstanding. Our waitress continued to check in us and also told us that we could stay as long as we would want until 2pm which was there closing time so it's a nice place to come to hangout with your friends. If you order breakfast items, it's quick. Got the health bowl with chicken (quinoa, salad with beets and chicken), it was delicious but overly dressed with seasoning and barely any quinoa. The café came to life by Two Chicks who love to eat. We are two friends who have a passion for food and a love for New Orleans. It wasn't easy to put the dream to reality, but we couldn't have done it without the support of our handyman husbands. Everything from the tables you eat on to the juice you drink, and the menu you choose from has been hand crafted by the Two Chicks. Offering items such as fresh squeezed juices, smoothies, breakfast, artisan sandwiches and salads, we want to share the uniqueness of New Orleans and make our customers feel like family. I didn't mind at all waiting outside because it was such a beautiful day, and it was just great being in New Orleans. I will say the food was astronomically delicious. If I could provide a 10 rating, I definitely would. From the French toast made with the po' boy bread to the shrimp and grits and the crab omelette, my taste buds were so happy. This place is a true gem. I can't wait to come back and try more. Such a great experience.

Upon entering, the ambiance was rather bleak, with no one to greet me. When assistance finally arrived, the staff seemed preoccupied with a table requesting timely service. Despite the warning signs, I proceeded to place a to-go order. While at the to-go station, I observed a disorganized and potentially unsanitary bar setup, with strawberries placed next to a trash can designated for juicing. Furthermore, a server mistakenly delivered food to the wrong guest, causing confusion and highlighting potential mishandling of orders. Witnessing servers enjoying meals amidst the chaos, with leftover food cluttering the bar and tables, was disconcerting. Waiting for my own order, I observed a chef questioning a server about the number of eggs for a guest, revealing internal communication issues. In contrast, I highly recommend Two Chicks on Gravier for their consistently efficient service, quality food, and adherence to health code procedures. Regrettably, when my food finally arrived, it was a disappointment - untoasted bread, burnt pancakes, and a missing side of grits. We were there for brunch and were very hungry. There was like a 20 min wait time. we ordered the most popular under the sea omelette, french toast and traditional egg Benedict. All of them tasted delicious especially the omelette. The french toast was very crispy and flavorful. My husband really loved grits. Their freshly squeezed OJ and basil cucumber lime juice were very refreshing. Staffs were friendly and pleasant ambience too. Can't wait to go back again and try other omelettes in the menu. read more

I have been here three times the week of Mardi Gras for breakfast and this place is legit. I had the same thing all three days, create your own omelette and each time the omelettes tasted amazing! The food and service is worth the wait if there is a line to get in. I am not crazy yelp review critic so i hope this helps. read more

Two Chicks Cafe was a great place to grab some breakfast before getting on our cruise ship. The atmosphere was fun and lively and I was very impressed with the value of the food we received. Was so happy to have found this little gem, it was wonderful from the drinks to the food! Had the kicken chicken omelette and grits- yum. The crab cake Benedict, bloody mary and grapefruit mimosa were also great- and I don't even like bloody marys! read more

All about the juice bar...We had them where I went to college and they were a big hit out there in Colorado...so I asked around and this one came up so called up some friends and now we go quite often. Food is fantastic and so is the service!! read more

Cosi atmosphere. I had two eggs with bacon, sausages and potatoes, it was delicious. Next time I will try the crepes. I also had a Bloody Mary, my friend had the Sangria, the cocktails are Great!! The two chicks are very cool!! ;) read more

Great food !! Only 4 stars because the food took 40 min. We had a party of 4 and others that came 15 - 20 mins after us received their food. Couldn't figure out if they forgot about us but the food was AMAZING ! read more
