This was my 1st time visiting everything was great. My omelet was very good and I left feeling full. My boyfriend had French toast with fresh fruit on top which was very delicious as well. There was a little wait before being seated because area is a bit small and packed but once seated service was smooth and fairly quick. I also sampled some of a fresh homage sweet tea and I ended up ordering one to go. Will be back again.

This is a very cute little spot that I happened to see on Apple Maps. It was close to my hotel and it looked like it would be a pretty good place to eat by myself. The food was incredible. The kickin chicken omelette may be the best omelette have ever had. The salsa is outstanding. The creamy grits were also great. The mimosa with fresh squeezed orange juice was outstanding. I cannot recommend this place enough. The service was amazing and the food was perfect.

We were looking for a breakfast place to sit down and have a bite to eat. They were quite busy and we waited a while for a table. We also waited a little while for our food as to how busy they were. It was OK, the veggie Benedict was flavorful, but kind of one note. The potatoes were standard and the crêpes are probably the most delicious part of our meal. The grits were a little bit too creamy if that's possible! Not my favorite I've had in my lifetime. We also never got water and waited almost to the end of our meal for it. The service was OK but they were just busy. It also was a bit warm inside, which was odd as I think they had the air-conditioning going. Not sure we would return again.

Parking was a bit hard to find, and we had to wait about 20 minutes in line for a seat, but once we were seated, the service was pretty quick. Excellent food. Omelette was done perfectly! Hosted was great. I had a 20 min wait and ended up getting a seat at the bar. Multiple people milling around behind the bar .... No acknowledgment, hello, can I get you water or coffee or any such interaction. After 10 mins. I simply had to just get ornery and raise my voice!to ask for some service. We ordered the BBQ shrimp with added scrambled eggs and a side of bacon, the crab cake Benedict, Papa's French toast, and the homemade cucumber basil lemonade with unlimited refills. At first glance, you wouldn't think this is a traditional Louisiana soul spot, but the food tells a completely different story. Everything came out fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. Each dish was well-seasoned and clearly made with care and love. If you're looking for a brunch spot in New Orleans, this place is a must-go. 9.1 out of 10.

Thank you, Yelpers, for turning me on to a great diner. Beautiful space, friendly ladies, GREAT FOOD, water, and coffee. Ate the custom omelette: Gruyere cheese, mushrooms, green spinach. Plus potatoes and toast. I could only eat half of it. I needed my coffee or I would have loved Cucumber Lemonade or European cocktails made with Prosecco (Italian white wine with a fruity flavor). Two Chicks Café is near the port and convention center, tucked inside a large commercial building. The space has a bright, modern feel with plenty of natural light, cheerful colors, and a clean, welcoming vibe. There's a mix of tables and booths, and the layout feels open without being crowded. It was already busy when we stopped in for breakfast, which says a lot about its popularity. Once we were seated, the service was fast and friendly. The food came out quickly, which was great since the place was full. Everything we ordered was really good. My son loved his Nutella crepe and pointed out it had more Nutella than most places we've tried, so it's perfect if you've got a sweet tooth. The omelet and Benedict were both well made and full of flavor. It's easy to see why this café draws a steady crowd. A bright and lively spot with good food and friendly service.

The second location of Two Chicks Cafe on Gravier was one of the first brunch places I visited when I moved to New Orleans. It always stood out to me as having a unique Eggs Benedict, using a croissant instead of the traditional English Muffin. I've been to this location a couple of times. It's tucked away inside of a hallway and you kind of have to know it's there. The space is limited but they do squeeze a few tables into that space and they can accommodate multiple sized groups. If you are there with one or two people the bar is available for a fun experience. I decided to venture away from my favorite Eggs Benedict and got the Under the Sea Omelet. And I switched out the toast for a croissant to make up for it. The omelet was good but didn't hit the spot like I knew the Eggs Benedict would. The croissant was disappointing by itself. Service: Good! The server was quick to respond. Drinks: Definitely many options here. Outside Seating: Nope. Parking: Paid parking and a little tough with it being next to the convention center.

First breakfast cafe in nola and I am surprisingly shocked at how delicious everything was. The french toast has cornflakes on it so it makes it crunchy and flavorful. My bf thoroughly enjoyed his meal. The french toast were thick and very filling. I recommend to share this with others because it's dense. 10/10 The bbq shrimps & grits was delightful. I never had grits and so I wanted to try it. I loved the flavor of the whole dish. Very well balanced and not overpowering of bbq. The dish is very filling. I could not finish it. 10/10 The portions here are pretty big. I recommend to share it amongst one another. The cafe is a cozy small cafe shop. There's quite a bit of seats and also counter top seating too. The service was good. They are really nice and attentive.

This was one of the first stops we made when we landed in NOLA for a conference. The place was pretty crowded but we were seated quickly. The food was delicious. I ordered the crab cake Benedict with cheesy grits. If you're lactose intolerant, I suggest either bringing lactose pills with you or possibly choose another restaurant because almost every items was described as "creamy". I recommend bringing the pills because the cheesy grits would make it worth it. It was a nice balance of creamy and cheesy. The crab Benedict was good but I would probably get the sauce on the side in the future. It can overwhelm the other flavors at times. I enjoyed our brunch at this place and good place to eat if you're near the convention center. read more

This place is so good, I had to eat here twice on the same trip to NOLA! This is a great spot for breakfast and lunch and it's just steps away from the Convention Center. I had the turkey sandwich for lunch one day and the shrimp and grits for breakfast another - I still think about how good they were! If you're in NOLA near the the CC, make sure you get to Two Chicks! read more

We parked in the Fulton Parking Garage while stating in New Orleans and stopped in at Two Chicks Cafe on the ground floor on the way back out. It is a cosy little spot with a friendly staff and a variety of breakfast, good coffee, and several blended juice options. Everything we had was good and I would eat here again. read more

My food was outstanding...easily one of the top 5 pancakes I've eaten, and the shrimp bowl was HUGE and full of deliciousness. One of my cousins ordered a create your own bowl that was loaded with crab, but she neglected to add a sauce...so it wasn't outstanding. I consider that a rookie mistake. We all ordered mimosas...and they were all strong and flavored to perfection! The location wasn't the greatest...you walk through a building that smelled slightly like a urinal (but it's New Orleans ‍). Service was on point, but we also sat at the bar top. I would definitely go back...if only for the pancakes. But my bowl was AMAZING too! I think it's a little misleading to read some reviews that rave about the food, but rate this place a 3 because of the long wait. You can clearly see that the place is TINY...so if you come expecting not to wait then again...rookie mistake. read more

Recommend:? Are you kidding? This is a simple yes! Located directly on the street edge and within a block of the Cruise lines, this little but hospitality is outstanding! The place is quaint, easily de preyed in earth tones with bits of New Orleans nostalgia. Menu was small and complimentary. Ordered the potato bowl, coffee and. Green Blast 'energy' drink. Great, thoughtful service. The space is immaculate. Clearly a locals hangout. Wonderful food. The grilled crabcake Benedict is excellent. Try the chia pudding, too. I have been in New Orleans for the past 3 days and I will say this was one of the BEST BREAKFASTS SPOT I HAVE CAME SO FAR! The girl at the front seating people on a Crazy Mardigras day was so on top of it! Our Server Ashley, was just fantastic with a great attitude super generous total 10 on customer service! This place definitely 10/10 I will be coming back for the next 2 days that I'm here! Oh and I'm a picky person! read more

Everything here tastes very fresh. I had the Hatchery eggwich, and they did not skimp on the goat cheese. It was a bit messy but I had not issue deconstructing and enjoying it that way. My friend had a smoked turkey omelette and felt that the amount of vegetables and flavors were adequate. She noted that everything tasted very fresh. We both really enjoy the creamy grits, it tastes like it has cheese in it already. Their fresh made drinks are delicious and our server kept them flowing. My friend's drink was the lemonade cucumber, which was refreshing, tasty and delicious. I had the orange tea which is a great balance between citrus and the herbal elements. There was for sure a wait during our visit, but I think it was worth it. You can tell that the staff work hard and do the best they can to make sure customers are satisfied. I see why this place it so popular - outside of it being by a cruise terminal - and I would come back. read more

I can concur with other reviews they need to work on the quality and efficiency of the service staff. We waited a while for a table. We were waited on by 3 different people partly because we had to ask for basic items like utensils, straws, and napkins. My son's order was wrong and was sent back. And the grits are indeed extremely thick. Like choking till you wash them down thick. There is plenty of staff they are just roaming around chaotically getting nothing done and not checking on tables regularly. They could seat people quicker if they even checked to see when people are done and ready to check out. Other food items were decent. read more

So happy! This summed up the breakfast meal I was hoping for visiting New Orleans. I ordered the grits bowl with over easy eggs and andouille sausage. FANTASTIC. Overall so well made, not too bland, not too salty, just yummy perfection. The grits were deliciously cheesy, the vegetables were delicious, the sausage was great, my eggs got slightly over cooked in some parts but that doesn't bother me. Came out hot! Take your time but it's hard because it's so good My bf got the French toast. He liked them but we both didn't like the cornflakes added. For both of us it affected the texture like coconut consistency, I don't like that. Maybe a little added sweetness. But the bread is actually very delicious and well made plus the fresh fruit. If it was possible I would ask to ditch the cornflakes because again it's a good bread. He got a cappuccino he said was pretty strong, I got a cold brew,good body, and paid for a side of almond milk. We arrived on a Saturday at 10, it was slightly busy but we got sat right away. Could be luck, def by 1045/11 there was a long line. The food came out a normal quick time for a busy Saturday. And the ambience, mom and pops. Servers were nice enough for how busy they are. We did almost a 10 min walk from our Cambria Hotel. Not bad at all. Not sure how parking would be. Also two drinks, non dairy charge, 2 entrees with added meat all came out to 40$ can't be that in this climate. read more

We got seated pretty quickly, and our server was very attentive. I ordered the Kickin Chicken Omelette with potatoes and salsa on the side. You get a good amount of food, and it's delicious! I ordered a cold brew which came with free refill which is amazing. The place was decorated nicely with fun paintings and offered both table and booth seating. Definitely recommend! read more

Cute little spot near the convention center. They are open for breakfast and lunch. I chose to have a lunch. I have the chicken brie pesto Panini. It was really good. The cheese was melted and the flavors mixed together were really good. It had a crunchy bread so it was very happy. It came with a small salad that was well dressed. I also had the unsweetened iced tea. It was well brewed and my waitress made sure that it was always filled. This place is hopping at lunchtime, but you don't feel rushed. Seating is benches with lots of pillows and table and chairs. The people around me seemed happy with their orders too. I felt it was well priced. read more

This just wasn't it for me. It was exciting to have a brunch spot this close to our hotel. I stopped in and the location is somewhat strange but the area dedicated to the restaurant is nice. The service was ok. I was greeted immediately but when I wanted to place my to go order, everyone was very busy. It only took about 15 min after I placed my order to receive my food. I ordered the crab cake Benedict. I didn't like it. I should've gotten it with grits but I was headed to the convention. The crab cake was more of a bread pattie/bun with crab. More bread than crab. Not how we make it in South Carolina. It came on a croissant - different than normal but I was willing to try. It wasn't toasted. The Cajun hollandaise was nice but one of my poached eggs was over cooked. Maybe I caught them at a bad time. I wouldn't go back. read more

The food was so nice, we came here twice! But seriously the food was delicious! We were in town for a conference and this place was across the street from the convention center. It was a quick walk to the place. The first day I ordered the Barnyard Eggwich, which was smoked turkey, egg, and herbed cream cheese on a marble rye for $7.99. I ordered it with a side of roasted potatoes. This was so good! Great ingredients and prepared fresh! The second day I ordered the Breakfast Poboy, which was andouille sausage, eggs, Gouda cheese, grilled onions, and spicy mayo served on French bread. I swapped out the spicy mayo for regular mayo. I ordered this was a side of the roasted potatoes. This was excellent! So much flavor! Service was excellent! Would definitely come back and highly recommend! read more

I really wanted to like this place but there just isn't anything special about it. We didn't have a wait, which was nice and the waitress was pleasant but the table was so overcrowded (big basket of jellies, creamer pods, sugar and such, hot sauce, salt and pepper, etc.) that there was barely room for our food and drinks. I would expect that a breakfast restaurant would have actual creamer, not the cheap ones from a pod so that was disappointing. I just ordered eggs and sourdough toast, nothing crazy. The eggs were fine but the "toast" was just stale bread with butter on it. Not even heated up to pretend like it was toasted, just a literal crouton basically. If I were to go back to the area I would not come back to this place. read more

Stopped in for a quick lunch to the cafe. Place was packed so we ate at Twi Chicks Taco which was right next door and have the quesadilla and was able to order hand crafted margaritas which was the perfect match for lunch. read more

Was here attending a conference at the convention center and this breakfast spot was conveniently walkable from the hotel we were staying and the convention center. Breakfast is served all day here, highly recommend trying if you are in the area :) All omelets and benedicts come with choice of creamy grits, roasted potatoes or fruit and toast. CRAB CAKE BENEDICT: A popular item, this benedict comes with your classic poached eggs, crab cake, and cajun hollandaise on a croissant. I chose to try the creamy grits, just not my personal preference and I plan on getting fruit next time. My husband got the same and chose fruit, which came with a bowl of fresh strawberries and banana. read more

Come to NOLA quite often, have tried different breakfast place, in which some are really good but we always seem to come back to 2 chicks, no matter the location it's always fantastic andthey know how to make a good Mimosa! Being in town for a conference, my coworkers and I stopped into Two Chicks before starting our morning at the convention center. It was crowded when we arrived (because of the conference), but we quickly learned most of the crowd was for to go service. Since we decided to eat in, we found a table pretty quickly. On your table, there is a basket with butter, jams, creamer, and napkins. Service was friendly and quick, which was ideal for us. My sandwich was SO GOOD! Went to the original location near the convention center. Cute & cozy atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Place is so good we ate 2 days in a row. I had the Under the Sea omelet loaded with shrimp and crab meat. It normally comes with brie, bell pepper, green onion and dill. I swapped out the brie for smoked Gouda....served with thick slabs of rye bread and a side ( I chose grits). It was sooooo good I had it the next day with Gruyere cheese. The grits were so creamy and excellent too. My bro had Eggs Benedict on a croissant which he thoroughly enjoyed. Cute little brunch spot tucked away next to the convention center. We were here for the conference at said convention center so naturally it was quite busy. Despite that we only had to wait for 5 minutes and were able to sneak two spots by the bar. The staff there was evidently quite overwhelmed and the pace just never really died down the whole time we were there. We got a farmhouse omelette and the crab cake eggs benedict on croissant and they were both phenomenal. The taste on the omelette was complex and rich, paired perfectly with the rosemary-infused potatoes and toast. The Benedict was also poached to perfection and had just the right amount of yolk spilling into the crab cake to generate a beautiful and gooey flavor that really makes the tastebuds explode. Possibly the heartiest brunch I've ever had. I'd give this place 5 stars on the food alone but the team seemed to buckle under pressure from the sheer volume of customers that day. We had to repeatedly ask for utensils, service was chaotic and a bit disorganized, and it took a very long time to get the bill. If you are attending a conference, this is a great option. We were also staying at the hotel within a walking distance, so we ate here a few times because of convenience. It can get very crowded during lunch hours (we did go during conference week). Most of the items we tried on the menu were good. I was not the biggest fan of thai shrimp poboy. It felt very soggy. The host was so kind and attentive and we were able to get a table fairly quickly despite it being Saturday during brunch hours. The café came to life by Two Chicks who love to eat. We are two friends who have a passion for food and a love for New Orleans. It wasn't easy to put the dream to reality, but we couldn't have done it without the support of our handyman husbands. Everything from the tables you eat on to the juice you drink, and the menu you choose from has been hand crafted by the Two Chicks. Offering items such as fresh squeezed juices, smoothies, breakfast, artisan sandwiches and salads, we want to share the uniqueness of New Orleans and make our customers feel like family. The breakfast sandwich was solid, eggs were a bit soft and grits were more mealy than we are used to, but I think that may be authenticity of the area more than anything. I opted for the three option omelet with onion, sausage and gouda plus a side of sausage links. The omelet, though odd sounding combination turned out to be solid. Maybe it was my options, but it was decently "one note" in flavor. I tossed a little hot sauce on and that helped. However, while the sausage links were not much to look at, they were tasty, with a nice snap to the casing and meaty inside. It was busy but cool ambiance. They had a good cocktail menu and food menu with a variety. I had the French 75 for my drink and it was perfect! They have happy hour here as well Friday-Sunday. The stories about the line are true: it was mid morning on a Sunday, and there was definitely a line, but we put in for a table for three and were seated within 20 minutes. First up was a bloody mary, the canonical brunch beverage, and it was a winner. Dressed with some nice veggies in handled jar, it was delicious and refreshing. As for the food, I was torn between a couple of the benedicts, so I ended up combining and getting crab cake and andouille sausage, both on the same croissant. It was delicious if a bit much; I ended up taking half to go. The crab cake was substantial in size, with a good crab to cake ratio, and the sauce which was touted to be excellent, certainly was. This was a very tasty breakfast. The decor was very cute and bright, and our server had a great smile and proper NOLA accent, tending to all of our needs with aplomb. It was a great experience, and one I'd do again for sure.

Upon entering, the ambiance was rather bleak, with no one to greet me. When assistance finally arrived, the staff seemed preoccupied with a table requesting timely service. Despite the warning signs, I proceeded to place a to-go order. While at the to-go station, I observed a disorganized and potentially unsanitary bar setup, with strawberries placed next to a trash can designated for juicing. Furthermore, a server mistakenly delivered food to the wrong guest, causing confusion and highlighting potential mishandling of orders. Witnessing servers enjoying meals amidst the chaos, with leftover food cluttering the bar and tables, was disconcerting. Waiting for my own order, I observed a chef questioning a server about the number of eggs for a guest, revealing internal communication issues. In contrast, I highly recommend Two Chicks on Gravier for their consistently efficient service, quality food, and adherence to health code procedures. Regrettably, when my food finally arrived, it was a disappointment - untoasted bread, burnt pancakes, and a missing side of grits. We were there for brunch and were very hungry. There was like a 20 min wait time. we ordered the most popular under the sea omelette, french toast and traditional egg Benedict. All of them tasted delicious especially the omelette. The french toast was very crispy and flavorful. My husband really loved grits. Their freshly squeezed OJ and basil cucumber lime juice were very refreshing. Staffs were friendly and pleasant ambience too. I have been here three times the week of Mardi Gras for breakfast and this place is legit. I had the same thing all three days, create your own omelette and each time the omelettes tasted amazing! The food and service is worth the wait if there is a line to get in. I am not crazy yelp review critic so i hope this helps. read more
