Looking for a new restaurant, we stumbled onto Two Sisters, located in Walworth, not the best location in Walworth unless maybe if you're from Sharon. The pictures of the place was strange that it only showed the entrance, which is not that enticing, however, many shots of the fare looked excellent. So off we headed for a half hour jaunt through the county passing many tough places to pass-up to go to the land of the Big Foot Indians. Alas, we enter into a dingy and face-lift needy building. We were greeted by our waitress who right off had attitude, we'll call her "Crab-Ra-Goon". We asked what wine they had, and chose a bottle of the Pinot Grigio. She went off and yelled across the room all she had was a warm bottle, and it was actually Moscato. Frowning, we then said OK, what beers do you have, she started to say what they had, then just said, just go over to the cooler and pick out what you want. We questioned "should we just leave this place now?" and made the wrong decision to stay. We asked a couple questions about the food, and she was in no mood to describe anything or answer our questions. I asked about the Tom Yum soup with Coconut Milk vs Lemon Grass and she said, "it's coconut milk, what can you say". We proceeded to order the entrees which she requested that we give the number and not the names. I chose #34, a cashew vegetable dish. I was brought #35, a sweet sour dish high in carbs and unfortunately I am diabetic. I flagged down Crab-Ra-Goon and I asked, "I said #34, is that a sweet sour dish?", and she replied "Yes". I told her I could not eat it, and asked for a menu to look at an appetizer, (really to check out the menu), and sure enough the sweet sour dish was #35. I brought this to her attention, and she said, you said #35. I said "No I didn't, I even asked you was #34 a sweet sour dish after it arrived?" The others at the table also agreed I had said #34 both times. Her solution was I could have half off the sweet sour dish without even asking if I wanted the correct meal or anything else. Now, this review doesn't go into the actual quality of the food, which was just OK, and you can gauge that by the rest of the reviews on here. This review is to discuss the horrible service we were offered. We will never go there again. I would strongly recommend staying away. read more

All I eat is the chicken fried rice, but it is amazing. Just like the thai I used to eat back home in Carol Stream. Highly recommend! I've also tried the chicken satay, fried chicken wontons, and the eggrolls. All delicious! read more

Overpriced and underwhelming. $6 for a bowl of soup because they don't offer you a cup of soup unless it's with a lunch special. So no cup if it's not during lunch?? It's good if you've never been to another Thai restaurant. Otherwise, if you think this place deserves 4 or 5 stars you've been going to some pretty horrible places. I lived in Chicago, and every Thai I went to there, was far and away better. I don't know why we keep giving this place "another chance", other than it's 5 minutes from home and any other Thai is 30 minutes. read more

Sorry, we made a habit of coming here years ago, their food is as good as any Chicago Thai restaurant, and they are friendly. But, I can no longer stomach their prices. Their prices are higher than Chicago prices for small portions and they definitely skimp out on the proteins. Our pineapple fried rice for $13 had exactly 4 small pineapple chunks. I was over this place a while ago and gave it another shot, their food is still good, but not even close to worth the prices. I usually don't rate places that are already highly rated. But after eating here I had to put in my two cents. This is good Thai food, for any city in North America ... we had the pa nang curry and catfish. Both were very good. We also tried the Thai ice tea, which was very interesting. For dessert we had the sweet sticky rice ... one with mango and one with Thai pudding. Mmmmmm, delish! The interior was quite sparse which could be off-putting. This place is a total gem hidden in a tiny city. Everything was wonderful - the service, the food....it's a small dining area, but very clean, no frills. My sister and I ate here and she ended up ordering take out for her husband, and food for her lunch tomorrow at work, which she was not planning on doing! This is a hidden gem in Walworth. Great food and customer service. We usually get it to go so I can't say how the dining in experience is. However the food is great. I usually go with the beef and vegetables in an oyster sauce. Egg rolls are also amazing! Only downside is that it is a bit price, but I think it is worth it. read more

Handily the best (only) Thai restaurant in Walworth! So far the food is good-ish and getting better each visit; the dining room is clean and bright. I've had lots better Thai food than this (and probably make better Thai food than this at home), but for being less than five minutes from my front door, it's easy to make allowances. I'm hoping these people do well and stay here for a very long time, so everybody get over there and buy something! If you're not sure about dinner, the lunch prices and portions are perfect for experimentation. They're working on a liquor license. And did I mention: it's in Walworth! read more
