Needed breakfast and searched for nearby restaurants. This popped up as one of the most recommended so decided I'd walk over since it was close. It was a Thursday morning and the line was LONG! Clearly a very popular place. Menu is extensive with something for anyone with any craving. Prices were reasonable, I'd even say cheap! I ordered the chicken chorizo breakfast tacos which comes with 3. Entirely too much egg, and overloaded with potatoes. There was barely any chorizo as I picked apart the tacos. Large portion but with an excessive amount of eggs, potatoes and a flour tortilla, it was hard to get through. Flavor was barely there. Wouldn't order again but there's so much more on the menu to give a try. read more

The lox avo toast was super good! Flavorful. The breakfast burrito was dry. It didn't have the sauce or pico on it that it was supposed to.

Came in for a smoothie and left with tea! And by tea, I mean gossip from the people behind the counter who were all engaged in various feuds over picking up the phone, sweeping and god knows what else. Yeah, yeah, yeah, the smoothie was good. Felt like something healthy after a week of BBQ...but save the drama for your mama otherwise I will gladly listen to all of it. This place was hard to find via Yelp. It's actually on the corner of 8th and Chestnut, a few steps down on the bottom level of the building. I walked around the entire building looking for it and it was on the last corner. There is some seating but seemed like a lot of people from the building above would come down and grab drinks before using an inside door to head back upstairs. 10/10 would recommend for the smoothies and gossip. read more

No idea where the good reviews are coming from. Food was average with careless presentation. My sandwich had spots of avocado on the outside (no avocado was suppose to come with the sandwich). I could taste the surface cleaner they must use in the sandwich. You order at the counter so the service was not much of an issue. However, the staff seemed more interest in their phones and playing grab ass to get their attention if you needed any help. Tea was empty at noon with not much interest in getting it refilled. I just had Ukraft for lunch at it was delicious! They have many of your standard café menu items (sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, etc.) but Ukraft's food is more distinguished. I did the pick 2 option and chose the cup of soup and 1/2 wrap. The roasted tomato bisque soup was delectable and the portion was substantial for being a cup of soup. The star of my Baja California wrap was the chipotle lime vinaigrette that came on the side. The vinaigrette is so tasty and balances well with the fresh flavors of the wrap. I also had the peanut butter cup cookie for dessert. This is a HUGE cookie, about 5"-6" in diameter. The base is a softly baked peanut butter cookie with large chunks of peanut butter cup mixed in. One of my favorite go-to breakfast spots! Wish they were open on weekends. The honey apple chicken grain bowl for lunch and the sunrise burrito for breakfast are my favorites! The portions can be a lil bit small so usually you want to get a side of a smoothie along with the main item! Everything I've had tastes great and the staff are always nice! read more

I asked if my smoothie had protein already in it and he said "sure..." to a yes or no question regarding the menu. So another associate was kind enough to answer me after I again began asking again for clarification. -- The 4/5 is for price, the rude cashier guy, and a kinda confusing location. The line was super long but also went super fast but there was not much standing room. Overall a great place to check out! There were a lot of young trendy business people there on lunch breaks. My friends and I were very happy with our breakfast and UKRAFT. This was our first time to St. Louis and we needed to find breakfast that was close to the baseball stadium. Ok you guys, it was delicious and delivered ridiculously fast. Like 15-20 min to Soulard fast. I wish I could have adjusted my tip afterward to reflect my satisfaction with that. I would not mind budgeting Ukraft in some form into my every day meals. There is plenty to pick from and like I said, it was so fast and super delicious (I had the AVOBLTE). FIRST -- not open at City Garden unless you count a dingy, dirty, stinky basement spot across the street, you know, the one where the employees put wraps on dirty dishcloths then move the dishcloth then touch the food again; are more interested in their phones/smoking/vaping than in preparing food; and the menu is NOT what's posted online. I ordered the Roast Beef Panini, no onions add extra animal protein. The sandwich was just over $11 with tax. Not even 4 minutes later I was sucking down a deliciously hot & tasty meat bomb. Moved to St Louis recently and this place is a gem to have so close to my apt. I usually get breakfast which has always been good but today I decided to try a lunch item. I ordered the Baja CA wrap with chicken and the Chipotle Lime Vin made my jaw drop. So delicious!!! Very refreshing meal. I love that I can taste how fresh all the ingredients are.
