This place is the best car service center I have used so far. The guys are great professionals. All of them are former BMW dealer mechanics. Their workshop is a lean operation. Very little waste. No receptionist either. If you call, the mechanics answer. I think this is how they are able to offer dealer level service at a discounted price. They have serviced my 2009 BMW for multiple critical maintenance and repairs after my 100k warranty and maintenance expired. They use high quality parts. BMW original for critical components, or OEM for others. You get a choice, along with their recommendation. Spoke to them once about the newer model BMWs. They pay money to BMW to have access to BMW diagnostic tools and technical details of the newer models. I personally don't know of any other independent shop that does it this way. After service, you get to inspect and keep the components that have been replaced. I would recommend that if you need any service, go to their workshop and talk to them in person. They are always busy. If you call, you get concise answers. They don't do the big "sale" or closing push like other places do. So just show up. You will not go elsewhere after that. Simply the best in Dallas to take your BMW to for service. These guys do excellent work and run their business with the utmost integrity. I have never been advised to perform repairs that were unnecessary and pricing is very fair. They are always accurate with repair timetables and significantly less than the dealer charges. Ultimate Bimmer has serviced my vehicle for almost three years now. I originally brought my 2011 550 to them after receiving an outrageous estimate from Classic BMW. They informed me only a small portion of the work was required and earned my business since then. Extremely pleased with their knowledge level on BMW repairs. I had my car seen by three other highly rated service shops on Yelp as well as Classic BMW (for an electrical flaky bulb replacement tissue). They all quoted a price of $650 to $1300 to resolve the issue. All quoted different items to be replaced. I took my car in to Ultimate Bimmer Service and they diagnosed the problem to a faulty light bracket. Cost of repair ~$230.00. These guys are down right honest good people with very competitive pricing. Don't waste your money taking your car to the dealership or any other shop. read more

This is my first time to actually write a Yelp review. I refer to other people's Yelp reviews all the time, but never contribute. After going to Ultimate Bimmer I definitely wanted to share my opinion. :) I cash purchased a used X5 about a month ago- got a really great deal- but the dealership only had it about 2 days before I purchased it and they obviously didn't give it a full servicing because about 2 weeks after purchase the indicator lights said that my oil and brake fluids both needed to be changed. I found Ultimate Bimmer online, and when I called Brent answered and assisted me in making an appointment. When I arrived a few days later I was about 10 minutes late, but Brent was understanding, friendly and professional. I told him I would wait for my vehicle so he guided me to the waiting area and voluntarily informed me of the wifi password I could use if needed. After about 15 minutes he came back and gave me a run down of the things that he noticed my vehicle currently needed- new air filters, oil change, brake fluid flush, etc. He did not try to upsell anything, and was frank and honest. He explained the out the door price for each service and asked which of the services I would like to have done that day. I agreed to have everything done. Overall I waited about 2 hours but didn't mind as they have a large waiting area with water/coffee, television, couches, bar stools, etc. During my wait a handful of people came to either pick up or drop off their vehicles for services. Once everything was complete Brent took me to his office and gave me a full itemized receipt for all the work/parts, he showed me my old filters and the parts they removed/replaced and then he advised as to what services I could expect to need next in the future. After paying I walked outside and they had my car pulled to the front of the building, washed (tires cleaned!!!!), running and ready to go! Needless to say, I was thoroughly impressed! :) PS- When I arrived I asked Brent if they could apply my registration sticker to the windshield since I had recently received it in the mail and he graciously did this for me as well. :) I'm so happy that I found this place! read more

I've had my BMW for 5 years and could never find anyone good to work on it, except the dealership. I was recommended to Ultimate Bimmer by a friend and couldn't be happier. I took my car there last month and got a ton done on it: new breaks pads, new rotors, headlight, etc. The guys were very nice and knowledgeable, accommodated me as needed and did a terrific job on everything! I would have to say that I paid a lot less than what the dealership was going to charge me for the same service. They are very good certified BMW mechanics that seem to enjoy their job and want to help YOU out. Let me temper my exuberance, however, Excellent Customer Service, Competent Work, Professionalism and Integrity are VERY rare combinations to find today. To be brief, the dealership diagnosed($300+) my 2003 745LI with a DSC module repair for $2,356; I called UBS who ultimately determined there were severed wires and an open circuit in the wiring harness, repaired them and reinstalled the original module PROBLEM SOLVED!! I can't imagine the dealer at the estimated price OR any other shop (at maybe $1,500) wouldn't have sold me the NEW Module. Point being, UBS could also have done so, but didn't - and saved me over $1,500+. I cannot say enough about this shop, Ryan who I dealt with, the detailed report and synopsis provided, and my baby has new life. Called 15 different BMW repair shops in the Greater Dallas area and Brent from Ultimate Bimmer was heads and shoulders above all the rest in personality, compassion and service delivery. I was purchasing a car in Dallas and needed a Pre-Purchase Inspection being that I live in another state and wouldn't be able to actually view the car in advance. Brent spent 3-4 hours going over the car with a fine tooth comb from all the usual stuff, engine, transmission, electrical, frame, etc. down to a few washers and bolts that were missing! I guess I expect too much ... but my view is if I'm taking my bmw to a shop that specializes in BMW and not a dealer I expect there to be a difference in service compared to the dealer else I might as well take it too the dealer. Prices are still not as big of a difference from the dealer. They don't allow you to bring in your own parts which also a policy of the dealer. They charge you a 100 for diagnostic eveb if you are getting work done at their shop just like the dealer. Bimmer only charged me nothing for diagnostic. Customer service and overall for a Non dealer shop I didn't quite see the difference I would recommend Bimmer only as moving from out of state and to Plano had a way better experience ... I will say ultimate Bimmer knows bmw and how to work on them read more

Wow. Brent and Ryan are fantastic. My car was out of warranty and that was the first time I took my M3 to a place other than a bmw dealership for service. The problem was an annoying noise coming from either my suspension or wheel. Ryan and Brian patiently diagnosed the issue in my presence and found out the front driver side tire had an issue. Though they spent close to half hr looking at my car, they didnt charge me for diagnosis. They did a free inspection for me and showed me parts that might need replacement in the future. Great attitude. Felt great taking the car to these guys. Didn't get the feeling that I was being taken for a ride. They have got a customer for life. read more

I recently bought an E92 M3, there were a few minor issues with it when I bought it, so I looked around the internet for an independent shop to keep costs down. I saw that Ultimate Bimmer Service was highly rated and I liked what the reviews were saying so I went with them because I had some bad experiences with other shops before. So far, I've had to take the M3 to Ultimate Bimmer Service three times since I bought it (unrelated issues, just bad luck) and each time Ryan and Brent have been as professional as the high expectations of the reviews led me to believe. The thing I appreciate the most is there seems to be a higher sense of responsiveness than I have experienced else where, that is, they don't waste your time. They work quickly, they get back to you fast when trouble-shooting and they are direct about what it's going to take to fix it. Also it's great that they keep costs down, I read a lot out on the internet about how ridiculously expensive it is to maintain European cars but so far my experience with UBS has mitigated that concern. Another thing that I like about the experience is that their professionalism is communicated through the fine details of the experience. For example, the summary page they give you with the receipt documents finer details of the exchange so I feel like I'll have a solid maintenance history when/if it comes time to sell. They also threw in free washes that weren't bad. read more

Had an awesome experience with UBS this week. I found this shop online and decided to swing by to check it out because my AC stopped blowing cold gradually. I dropped in without an appointment and talked with Brent about my problem. He was extremely knowledgable and quickly formulated a plan of action to remedy my problem. To my amazement they were able to work on my car later the same day. This was a godsend with the Texas heat. It was found that the Freon was at about half capacity. They used state of the art equipment to precisely fill the ac system back to factory specs and inserted a dye to detect leaks in the system if it continues to leak. I also had them do an oil change on the car while I was there and it was very reasonably priced with factory oil and filters. While performing their courtey multi-point inspection, which includes checking and correctly all fluids and tire pressures, they located a nail in my rear drivers side tire that I was unaware of and the car's tpms had not yet alerted for. They also found some undercarriage damage due to some something I had hit in the roadway. I cant say enough about these guys and will highly recommend them to friends and family. They have earned a customer for life with their high level of expertise, honestly, and affordability. Top notch! read more

I was really hoping to like this repair shop and high expectations given the 5 star rating on Yelp, but when I contacted them today the individual who answered the phone was nothing but rude and short. I inquired about a headlight being changed and was told the soonest they could do see me was a week out... a week to change a headlight. I then asked about some additional accessories, services in which they state they do on their website and I was told I needed to provide my own parts... why would that be the case... do they not have access to parts? Moving past that absurdity I asked for a recommendation on parts and the individual on the phone could not offer any... a BMW shop that can't supply parts and can't make recommendations, seems odd. Being new to Dallas I thought maybe this shop could be a gem, but just another dud. I will gladly give my business to a dealership; at least I know it's being done right and done by an organization that understands customer service. read more

Ryan and Brent at Ultimate Bimmer Service always provide great and efficient service. Yesterday 9/2/15 my rear window regulator suddenly went out, I immediately paid them a visit, I was told they didn't have the part in stock so it would have to be fixed the next day. Totally understandable, called them this morning to make sure they had the part ready for my visit later in the day. Brent assured me they had the part so I went ahead and took my car in later throughout the day. When I got there I was greeted by Ryan and told that the part had been ordered but they didn't have it yet. I mentioned I had spoken with Brent in the morning and expressed my discomfort since I thought I had just taken a trip there in vain. This is where he acknowledged the issue and told me not to worry since he would get the part elsewhere and my car would be taken care of. This completely exceeded my expectations given that Ryan went all out in order to get the part needed for my car. I was out of there fairly quick all while enjoying the comfort of their customer lobby. Ever since I've had my 335i I don't mind driving the extra miles just to have it serviced here. These guys truly have gained my business and shown me why. They are not the typical shady mechanics who up sell you on crap you don't need. They diagnose what is wrong with your car and always make suggestions on what should be serviced down the road without being pushy. Their prices are fair too certainly nothing outrageous like other places. Also they answer any of my questions whether they sound silly or not because their knowledge of BMW's is quite broad. As far as my experience there today, there might have been some miscommunication about the part my car required, however they took care of this, they got the part, installed it and I left there a satisfied customer. For as long as I have my BMW I will continue to service it here and nowhere else, I know my car is in good hands with Ryan, Brent and the rest of the staff at Ultimate Bimmer Service.
