I got the feeling that as a client I wasn't that big of a deal nor was the problems I was having with my BMW. My experience left me wanting a better treatment like that is mentioned in their current reviews. My last time there I had my radiator & oil cooler serviced which required the replacement of some oil lost when the cooler was replaced but the oil was not topped off and during my vacation trip I had to run around rural Arkansas looking for 10w60 oil which isn't an easy feat. I contacted Ultimate Bimmer but never heard a word back in response. Its the little things that make a lasting impression. I live in Seattle and purchased a car from a dealer in Dallas. I didn't want to commit to such an expensive purchase without having it thoroughly vetted. Flying down wasn't an option and the local BMW Stealership asked for 350 USD for a quick inspection. I looked up this place on Yelp and gave them a call. Here are my observations 1) WOW! Thoroughly knowledgeable on the car. They know their BMW's! 2) Proactive: They called me to tell me the dealer hadn't yet brought the car over and followed up directly with the dealer several times 3) They are extremely detail oriented: My gosh, they caught things I (and I am very finicky) would never have noticed in person (example: handle for the ski-pass through in the back was damaged, clear coat peeling from a few wheels). Even the dealer (who doesn't know them) admitted those guys are good. 4) Friendly, Polite and Prompt: Keep in mind I am calling from far away. They are quick to call back and super friendly. They took a ton of time to answer my MANY questions about the car. 5) Their report is comprehensive: Included photos etc 6) Finally, they are very reasonably priced. This shop is honest and has integrity. Very good prices, they have extensive knowledge about BMW some times even more then the dealer ship offers. They where able to reset the ELV lock on my steering wheel that same day for a flat rate of 50 Dollars. Mean while at the BMW dealership - i like to call it " the stealer ship" they quoted me 200 dls and 100 for labor and would have to wait till the next day. They also quote 700 dls for a new battery install. But ultimate bimmer service can cut that bill in half. read more

A month ago I purchased a 3 series with 123XXX miles on it, I knew it would need some small maintenance things, but was hoping nothing too serious. Sadly, on the drive home, my new car thought it was over-heating. Enter: Ultimate Bimmer Service. I brought my car in to Brent and Ryan and told them the things I was worried about, but also asked them to give it a really good 'once over' and look for anything else that might be happening, since I had just purchased the car and clearly not from someone who was honest .. The final diagnosis resulted in a pretty rare alternator issue causing strange things to happen and an unregistered/ unsecured battery, They could have easily chalked the over-heating issue up to something stupid expensive like the water pump and charged me 3 grand or something and sent me on my way, only to have the same issue persist. But they didn't. I had a Third party Warranty on the car and Brent worked with them to get some parts of my repair covered, which made the whole process take longer naturally, and I'm sure is frustrating for the company (cars sitting,waiting,taking up spots) But Brent remained patient and polite through the whole process. I received a phone call update every single time that progress was made, and every single time the first thing Brent said was 'This is Brent with ultimate bimmer service, do you have time to talk?' - HUGELY Appreciated for a busy business owner like myself. When my repair was complete I was brought into an office and showed my old, faulty parts - explained my entire invoice, all of my questions were answered, and they even washed my car for me, and were okay with me leaving my other vehicle in their lot for a few hours while I waited for my husband to be available. In conclusion, I'd reccomend Ultimate Bimmer Service to any BMW owners I know. I was extremely satisfied with their work, and customer service. I needed to replace the motorized sunshade in the back of my 7 series that someone broke with their arm. Parts and labor were pretty expensive. You know BMW was upset to lose these guys. Extensively trained and well versed in a variety of the special traits only seasoned technicians come to learn over time, they seem to know it all - and better yet, delight in explaining why. After verbally describing a noise my 330i was making and scenario of the circumstance in which it occurred, I was advised on the severity of the problem my vehicle was experiencing, what to expect from the car if I were to continue without a repair as well as a rough estimate for the time/cost of the repair. All were understood as merely estimates and best/worst case scenarios - however, to a tee the predictions of the future ramifications and the subsequent cost/time of the repairs followed. Ultimate Bimmer Service was great about scheduling the repair, following their computer diagnostic we found their predictions matched identically to the issues I was experiencing and as an added bonus they finished the work sooner than I was quoted. Their pricing is far and away better than any dealership and certainly fair. I always feel like I'm part of an exclusive elite club of BMW enthusiast each time I schedule service and visit their shop as the caliber of vehicles present speak volumes of their reliable work and the trust they've obviously gained from their loyal constituents. This place is the best car service center I have used so far. The guys are great professionals. All of them are former BMW dealer mechanics. Their workshop is a lean operation. Very little waste. No receptionist either. If you call, the mechanics answer. I think this is how they are able to offer dealer level service at a discounted price. They have serviced my 2009 BMW for multiple critical maintenance and repairs after my 100k warranty and maintenance expired. They use high quality parts. BMW original for critical components, or OEM for others. You get a choice, along with their recommendation. Spoke to them once about the newer model BMWs. They pay money to BMW to have access to BMW diagnostic tools and technical details of the newer models. I personally don't know of any other independent shop that does it this way. After service, you get to inspect and keep the components that have been replaced. I would recommend that if you need any service, go to their workshop and talk to them in person. They are always busy. If you call, you get concise answers. They don't do the big "sale" or closing push like other places do. So just show up. You will not go elsewhere after that.
