After i booked online, the inspector, Dabo contacted me right away to confirm the details, and he arrived at the dealership on time. Even though the vehicle wasn't there (in a warehouse), he waited for them to bring the vehicle to the dealership. Dabo inspected the vehicle thoroughly, and told me of all the various issues he found on the vehicle, and i'm really glad i did not buy it cause it would have been a headache and cost thousands of dollars to repair all the issues the dealership was hiding on the vehicle. I was satisfied with the report (along with pictures) that were provided promptly after the inspection was completed. Because i did not buy the vehicle, i wanted to have another inspection on another vehicle that very same day, and i'm very glad Dabo was able to accomodate my request. Dabo again inspected the vehicle, told me about the issues on the vehicle, and again he saved me a headache because i was able to make a deal with the dealership to fix those issues that he found on the vehicle before i purchased it. He also provided the inspection report promptly. All in all, my experience with inspectiver was very positive. Dabo was very friendly, professional, and his experience in talking about issues that he found on the vehicle was very helpful for my purchasing decisions. In addition, I feel like the price inspectiver charges for doing a pre-purchase inspection is quite reasonable. If i had to buy another vehicle, i would use inspectiver again.

Instead, they tell you when it will happen. I was told someone would inspect the car I'm interested in at 2pm and that's exactly what happened. Customers are sent a link that lets them check the progress of the inspection and the report. My report was detailed and informative. I called Inspectiver directly for clarification on their summary and recommendation. The rep on I spoke with was incredibly helpful and reinforced the inspector's recommendations on how to proceed. Having a trusted service to inspect a used car before you make a purchase is crucial. I highly recommend Inspectiver to do the job!

I placed an order on their website for a pre-purchase inspection and they were able to come out to meet the seller of the vehicle the next day. After the inspection, the inspector gave me a call with his findings and overall impression of the vehicle . The day after the inspection, a written report and a numerous inspection photos were available on the order page of their website. The written report specifically covered the following areas: Road Test, Engine & Mechanical, Suspension & Undercarriage, Tires & Brakes, Exterior & Body Condition. The level of detail in the report and the number of photos provided was satisfactory. Overall, it was a good overall experience and I'm happy with the service provided and with the vehicle I purchased. Why did I not give a full five stars? First, I believe a whining transmission noise they noted in their report was misdiagnosed. It seems to have been caused by the car's AC compressor that progressively whined louder before eventually failing during the fifth drive after purchase. Second, the report indicated that the transmission was leak free but I've found the slightest pooling of transmission fluid in my garage since the first day I purchased the car. Lastly, minor details seemed to be missed like missing roof weather strips/mouldings, a detached fog lamp, and sanding/repair work done on the rear bumper and rear fenders. If they had the means to diagnose the whining noise further and offered that as an add-on package, I probably would have availed and subsequently provided a higher rating.

He said he would, but he did not. His version of an under the car inspection was sticking his cell phone under the edges of the car and taking a photo. He certainly didn't crawl under and take a look. He made more of an effort to connect with the seller, than me, the buyer and person who hired him. He completed the inspection in 20 minutes and it certainly wasn't worth $200. It was anything but thorough. He said he was mostly inspecting cosmetics and basic function, which I said I could do. I asked him to share with me what he was inspecting as he went along, and he declined to do that. Honestly, he seemed to be in a hurry. Lastly, although I was told I would be getting all the photos the inspector took, absolutely none none of them are in the report. I do not recommend him and would never use him again!

After that repair, my check engine light suddenly came on--even though it wasn't on before. The first shop told me it was a problem with the mass air flow sensor and tried to charge me to fix it, which didn't feel right to me. So I decided to come here for a second opinion, and I'm really glad I did. The mechanic took the time to properly diagnose the issue and walked me through everything step by step. Within about an hour, he figured out that it wasn't the air flow sensor at all--it was just a blown fuse. That alone saved me a lot of money and potentially from being overcharged elsewhere. What really stood out was the honesty and communication. He explained clearly what went wrong, didn't try to upsell anything, and made sure I understood the situation. On top of that, he even aired up my tires for free, which was a nice touch. Fast, honest, and affordable service like this is hard to find. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this shop to others.

The charge was $25 more than the estimate but when I questioned this a refund was offered. Inspection was completed on a tight deadline as promised The problem: I didn't get the results. They had been sent yo an email address different than I was using. Several calls and messages leading up to my flight time didn't get a response so i had to take a chance and board the flight without the results. With only two hours remaining before finalizing the purchase, I got a brief summary that there was nothing major unexpected. The battery would need replacement within about a year. Whether this was the 12V battery or the HV battery? Didn't say. It was at the pick-up location 5 minutes to the meeting time I first got info that this was the HV battery that showed initial failure signs. There was no information about the cost implication ($22,000) and only the manufacturer's evaluation was said to be truly accurate. The inspector said the belief was this had been communicated by the owner (it hadn't and this is sort of the point of inspection). With no reaction or research time, the transaction was completed. Within 24 hours the ignition system no longer recognized either of the two keys and the driver's door handle stopped opening the door. Later inside the car i found written notes about the failed door handle. I don't know if these were the owner's or inspector's. Someone knew it was a problem in advance. I spent a 350-mile trip climbing in through the hatchback and no idea of the repair cost. The keys both needed batteries. $10. No big deal. Except they stranded me at 3AM middle of nowhere with no replacements available. I haven't read the actual report yet to offer an opinion of quality in the write-up or formatting. There wasn't much point in reading a pre-purchase report after the purchase. If I do read it I may add an update or change my rating. So some aspects of this inspection were correct but the final result did not achieve the goal of making an informed decision and avoiding issues. At most I can say it only served to validate the enormous problem i might be facing.
