    Breakfast Tacos (3) with mushrooms

Omg I'm so glad I finally came inside this place.. this is def my new go to brunch spot! They have the best fresh juices in the area with the coconut mango drink and melon one yumm!! They literally have the nicest staff I've ever met at a brunch spot (snooze should be worried across the street)! Oh and the scones are amazinggg it even tasted great after I took it home and microwaved it yum! I enjoyed the breakfast tacos and we loved the French toast! The portions are nice and large so they are good for sharing if you're not too hungry or great to take for leftovers. I can't wait to come back and try more entres and try their coffee. Their owner was walking around asking for feedback as well so loved that! Make sure or make reservations on the weekend because it's super packed! Can't wait to be back!

I am going to have to start off with the star of the show, it is the scone. The scone was warm and tender. You know most scone are cold and hard, not this one, delectable! A nice casual vibe to the place. Come casual and also sit on the patio vey nice. The service seemed just a bit slow but it didn't matter because my friend and I were catching up. I love when restaurants tag team service. Our server introduced themself, someone else brought our waters, our server came and took our order, our entrees was brought to by someone else, and our server came and check on us a few times, perfect service. I will come back again!

First things first... make a reservation if you can, otherwise get ready for the wait. At the time of this post, they've only been open about 3 weeks, but it was super packed when I came. Service was amazing. The young lady at the hostess stand was super sweet and welcoming. Katrina, my waiter, was great and they checked on me just enough. I appreciated the background on the restaurant and looking forward to the future expansion. The ambiance was relaxed and modern. I will say I wasn't a fan of sitting near the front door since it was a little cold today. I think that made my food get colder faster but note the steak was cold when it came out - see pic for the butter not melting. Now the food!! Billion $$ bourbon bacon 9/10: nice thick cut bacon with great flavor and not too fatty! I really enjoyed this. Local honey lemonade 8/10: not too sweet or tart and very refreshing. Steak and eggs 6/10: presentation was nice and my eggs were cooked how I liked them. The loaded hash browns were very tasty. Now the steak on the other hand, while tender, lacked flavor and wasn't even hot/warm. So much so that the butter didn't and couldn't even melt. Enjoyed the onions and mushrooms but maybe less onions next time. Stuffed French toast 8.5/10: more than enough on the portion side. It was a tad sweet to me and didn't need the syrup, but just my opinion. The French toast wasn't too soggy and the bread held its shape. Overall, I'd definitely return! Make sure y'all check them out!

I was seated immediately and my order was taken immediately. Not bad for a Saturday morning. The whole team was very pleasant. I ordered the billionaire bacon and the 3 egg breakfast along with a glass of orange juice. The bacon would have been perfect had it not been salty. I do realize it's a hit or miss in that regard. The rest, well it was breakfast. You do have the option to add two items to your eggs. I went with cheese and tomatoes. My protein was sausage which was a bit bland. Warning, the hash brown has quite a bit of pepper. See photo. I would go again if invited, other than that, meh. Do give it a try.

We wanted to try this place out, and I'm glad we did! There was a bit of a wait (a Saturday so understandable), but we sat at the bar instead and the people at the bar were so nice! The service was awesome! It was busy, but it wasn't so loud that we couldn't talk to each other! I think it was a great spot as far as noise level. Overall, the food was ok. We also got lattes and they were great. The guy behind the counter knew what he was doing on top of great service. For food my friend and I split the Tuscan Benedict and Tamale Benedict. The biscuits were very thin, the eggs were slightly undercooked, the tamale Benedict was drowning in sauce and not a much a Benedict but overall the flavor was decent. We got hashbrowns and a salad as the sides. The hashbrowns were cooked well but the salad could have used more dressing. We also ordered a side of toast that it came with "seasonal jam" which was delicious and the toast was buttery. The pineapple martini though, was not good. It was bland and tasted like old flavored water. That infusion definitely needs to be reworked to infuse something else like cinnamon or vanilla in there. Overall, the only reason it was 4 stars was some food mishaps and the infusion drink but we will be back (and trying different drinks) again!

Brunch was a whole vibe from start to finish. The Southwest omelette was absolutely on point -- warm, perfectly and packed with flavor. It was loaded with fluffy scrambled eggs, seasoned potatoes, melted cheese, and savory sausage, all wrapped in a egg with just the right crisp on the outside. Every bite was hearty and satisfying, and the salsa on the side gave it that extra kick. My husband ordered the shrimp in grits and a side of French toast. Are server kartina gave us the special when you got there told us what was good and was very helpful. Had our food come out. Nice and hot. It was my first time at that restaurant. I cannot wait to come back.

We tried Urban Egg recently and we were impressed with the food and service. The ambiance was cute too. I had the protein bowl and it was enough for 2 or 3 meals for me. My husband had biscuits and gravy and a side of corned beef hash. He prefers his hash finely minced and this was shredded. That said, he said it was flavorful and well made, it just was not his preference. He did enjoy the biscuits and gravy. The service was fantastic and they even offered me a blanket dice it was cold outside and we were near the door. We will absolutely be back.

I came here with friends and had a great time. Make sure to get a reservation on the weekend. It was loud but not too loud. There are a lot of menu and drink options so be prepared to make some hard choice. Good vibes and delicious food. I'll be back.

My hubby and I finally made it to Urban Egg! We really like the ability to make reservations since the place gets quite busy! My hubby said the eggs were of high quality and tasty. The blueberry streusel pancakes were delicious. We shared an orange and cranberry scone. Very delish! My egg white omelette was nicely done. Overall: Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and yummy food. We will be back!

This is the breakfast spot that Plano desperately needs! The menu is expansive, the coffee is bold, and the breakfast does not disappoint. We started with the seasonal scone and we were rewarded with a warm, flaky pastry sprinkled with orange zest. I couldn't pass up the biscuits and gravy which were perfectly flaky and sage-infused. They didn't stand a chance. My husband got the southwest omelet which was packed with beans, chorizo, cheese, and a tortilla - basically a delicious breakfast taco in omelet form. Our little one devoured his pancakes and eggs. We already can't wait to be back at Urban Egg!

A friend and I went to the soft opening training session at Urban Egg today- wow!! I was so impressed with the food and presentation. While being a training day, it felt like there was an employee every 5 steps. It did not feel chaotic, it felt warm and welcoming. You could tell the team was excited! First off, the biscuits and gravy say "award winning" and it's absolutely true!!! The best I've ever had! I also had the Southwest omelette which had great flavors and presentation. My friend had a traditional eggs Benedict and the presentation wasn't much of anything, she said it was okay! She realllly enjoyed the salad- again, great mix of flavors.

    Front table by window.

The food is phenomenal! Biscuits and Gravy deserve that award. Service is impeccable. They made us laugh, we made them laugh, and we left happy customers. It was my birthday weekend and they were so gracious.
