Food is always great here. I'm a big fan of the grass fed steak and the chicken as well. It used to be cafeteria style dining, but as Covid has changed many things, it is no longer. For dine-in, they now have servers. The past few times I have been here, Francisco has been great with checking to see if we are enjoying our meal and the atmosphere. Great wholesome food! Fun cafeteria style with very urban feel. Visit once a month and quality is consistent! Grilled chicken is my ultimate favorite with herb flavor it really pairs so well with the mashed potatoes. Broccoli are always cooked to perfection. Mac and cheese is a bit dry and not a huge fan of the noodle. Wine prices are fair. Great selection of beverages. Only complaints are time of service and cost. After days of eating fatty, unhealthy junk food, I decided that I needed a salad to help balance my horrible diet. This restaurant is located in the same plaza as Whole Foods Market. When you walk in, you will notice the cafeteria style restaurant and have to choose a line to stand in based on your order - those who want to order salads are to the right and all other orders are to the left. Don't forget to grab yourself a silver tray to put your plates on! I ordered the hand tossed "Chicken Caesar" salad which comes with organic romaine, organic baby kale, grilled free range chicken, organic tomatoes, garlic croutons, shaved asiago, caesar dressing, and a chargrilled focaccia. This salad was filling and delicious, and I would order it again and again. The "Grilled Steak" hand-carved sandwich was definitely a disappointment. Like Tender Greens, the steak is very difficult to chew/swallow and is filled with tough tendon. The chimichurri aioli was a delicious sauce but nothing can mask the horrible meat quality. Hand-carved sandwiches are served with chips and any hot or cold side. I am looking forward to trying the "BBQ Beef" sandwich next time I visit this restaurant. Now that dessert section, towards the end of the line, will knock your socks off! With so many mouthwatering desserts to choose from, it was hard to pick only one. The chocolate pudding was rich and creamy, ten times better than a pudding snack pack cup. With a thick, flaky pie crust, creamy filling and slices of bananas, the banana cream pie was just what I had hoped for in a dessert. I have my eye on the coconut macaroon and a slice of the flourless chocolate cake during my next sweet tooth craving. Overall, great service with a variety of healthy food options for all. Reminds me of the Tender Greens I used to frequent in LA. Fresh and healthy meals in a Joanna and Chip Gaines style place. I do think it's a level above Tender Greens in regards to the expanded side and dessert options, however I would've like to have a salad as an option side instead of only a full entree. My family came here on Saturday the 14th after my granddaughters softball game. We were very hungry and just saw urban plates while driving by and decided to give it a shot. The ordering process was very simple and the menu looked amazing. After waiting for about 10 minutes I started thinking wow its taking long it must be good!!! I LOVED the salmon here. I was going to get the kimchi aioli chicken but the salmon looked too good to pass and it was delicious! I also liked the beets with carrots and the brussel sprouts but the vegetables were all little too salty for me. The mint green tea was refreshing. That is more than enough time to figure things out. Restaurants need to stop saying no one wants to work. The truth is they just don't want to work at a poorly run place.
