First timer to this location and was pleasantly surprised by the difference in service between this location and others. Reina checked me in and took my order. She gave great recommendations for some of her faves and was an absolute delight. She definitely understands the meaning of great customer service! From standing in line until my meal was prepared, it took about 10 minutes total. I ordered the BBQ Tri-tip sandwich which was delicious and enough for another meal! Just the right amount of BBQ sauce so that it wasn't soggy. The salad that went along, was eaten without the vinegarette dressing and was delish. And to top it off, there was a WARM chocolate chip cookie was killer yummy! The restaurant was clean. The manager was present, checking on patrons and cleaning. The inside tables were full when I first arrived, but as soon as someone was leaving, she prepped the tables for the next person. It was a beautiful day, so the tables outside were the perfect place to be. There was also ample parking in the shared parking lot and the restaurant had a clean gender neutral restroom. Came in on my lunch break from work for the elite event. I pay a lot of attention to customer service and the operation side of things and this location is on point. Every single employee behind the counter was very pleasant and helpful. I'm a big urbane goer and I have to say this is my favorite location thus far and I've been to quite a lot of them. We were able to choose an item off the menu, a cookie(highly recommend the double chocolate and chocolate chip for fellow chocolate lovers) and a drink. My only complaint was the limited selection of lemonade, but the guava was still very tasty. This location is right next to blenders tucked away in the back you might have to park a little farther down this parking lot gets packed around lunch time. I also wanted to point out I saw the owner bussing and cleaning tables and assisting customers, which I loved because she didn't just stand around and supervise she actually contributed to helping her staff which you don't see too much of now a days. I had a wonderful experience with Urbane Cafe, using their mobile app! I work in the area but know how busy that intersection can be and how long (at times) Urbane Cafes lines are for ordering so I decided to take the plunge and use their mobile app! I had the application in the past but never got around to using it. So I downloaded the application on to my iPhone again. Went ahead and signed in(if it's your first time downloading the app then it'll have you sign up. Then I went on to ordering my FAVORITE Southwest Chicken sandwich with the usual house side salad that it comes with just without mandarin oranges (I just don't care for them at times) I also maneuvered the setting so that I may pick up my order at a specific time, today I selected 1:15pm. Then I went ahead and input my payment method and that was that! Really easy process. So once I arrived to the store, you go straight to the pick up station and say that you have an order ready for pick up. I do so and the employee promptly greeted me and went through my order and placed napkins and a fork in my to go bag and that was that. I didn't feel the need to go ahead and check the order personally even though I should have because we're human and stuff happens, I felt reassured since we sorta went through it together and it was basically just a one item to go order- no biggie! All in all I would probably use my mobile app in the future! I had a great experience, made things super fast and simple. Also food quality was up to par!!! It tasted just like how I remember it tasting (I hadn't had Urbane Cafe in a while and unfortunately this location tends on mixing up order, not the case for today) Also the chipotle ranch is to die for!!! Their only consistency is inconsistency. Check your order, check your bag. I go to this Urbane Cafe because it's near my house, and because for some reason I'm the kind of gal who likes to eat the same thing regularly. Once I find a thing on a menu that I like, I typically order only that thing. Any deviance from it often proves to be a mistake. So, I like Urbane cafe for the consistency, and I do appreciate the cost to portion ratio. That being said, 9/10 times I get my order and it's not right. I order a salad every single time, minimal changes, ie: I prefer tofu instead of chicken and plz add some avo. So many times I've received no bread wedge or LITERALLY NO DRESSING, it's a salad, I'm not a monster, I need some dressing. At least twice I have just received food I didn't order. Staff is less than amicable, though I'm not knocking a star for that as I'm sure they are vastly underpaid and overworked. I've always been a fan of their food and how great their service is. Whenever I come in, everyone working are always so nice. If you have a question, they're all very helpful. If you don't know what to have, ask whoever is working the front for a recommendation - they always get it right. I had the bbq tri tip sandwich with a side salad. It was so great.
