Brand new place, had dinner here after a time at Disneyland. It wasn't crowded, and it's standard poke bowl experience. Kind of expensive for what they give you, but they're fish is really good. They say that you get a free soda when you check in, but I told them when I got to the register that I checked in and they told me I said it too late, and I didn't get my soda. Whatever, I like water any ways, but I totally got skimped on a free drink. My friend bought me a drink, and it was Kirin beer. Let me get straight to the point, this isn't the best place I've been to but they have some cool toppings like ginger chips (crispy flakes) that can be added. So poke is probably one of my favorite food dishes. I had somewhat high expectations because of all the high reviews. A lot of these type of poke places are opening everywhere.. Basically where you build a bowl, "chipotle-style". The actual restaurant itself is clean and modern interiors. I didn't like how the spicy tuna looked pretty mashed potatoes. It was nice now the avocado was free ...but honestly I would have paid for avocado if the fish looked fresher. The service was alright, nothing to call home to brag about. My sister order the base of chips and salad-- and the girl gave her literally 5-7 chips. Which seemed a bit small. It was my first time trying a poke restaurant and this place was designed as an assembly line style where you can pick out exactly what you want. The medium bowl ($10) is more than enough and you get a choice of 3 proteins and they're pretty generous on the scoops. They move you down the line fast and with your first check-in you get a free drink. The sauce for the poke wasn't very flavorful but overall the bowl was filling and satisfying. This is my favorite spot for poke in Orange County. I've come a number of times and each time the quality of the fish is consistent as it stays really fresh and delicious. The portions are pretty generous here too; sometimes I get the small bowl and it still fills me up. The spicy tuna and salmon are my go to choices atop a half salad|half steamed rice bowl topped with some spicy mayo drizzle, masago, cucumbers and a scoop of avocado. This place was a nice surprise! As others have said you pick your size bowl, protein, sauce and toppings and then eat! I had tuna and salmon with mild sauce and lots of toppings. I could have used a larger bowl as it got stacked pretty high and I couldn't get down the thr rice but I managed to finish it anyway. Parking fills up quickly but there is a large lot. Lots of 2-top tables that you can pull together for bigger groups. The line moves quickly so don't let that fool you. Next time I am in the area, I will be having lunch there again. read more

We eat here pretty often. Food is good. I would have given a 5 star rating, however the service is sometimes painful. Majority of the time their on it, but every once in awhile.... Price is pretty consistent with other poke places. They have beer and sake but you can only purchase if you're eating there. All around good place. read more

The first time we went to this restaurant it was our first experience with poke. Now we've tried lots of different places throughout California and Uroko is still our favorite. I was so happy to find a good place to eat customizable poke bowls. I really like the layout of this place and the prices and options are really great. I had the large poke bowl with brown rice which included a choice of five scoops of protein and lots of other options to finish it out. It reminds me of a Chipotle but for poke and the staff are patient and friendly. I used the check in offer and received a free fountain drink but they were out of ice and the diet coke needed to be changed out. I might suggest that you ask for the wasabi on the side as my bowl received a heaping scoop of it and because it was near my avocado and I punked myself. I don't have time to go to places with lines out the door, I work in Irvine and I only got an hour to take. That totally didn't happen here. Most Poke Bowl places I've gone to takes forever to make and the lines are out the door. I think this place got it down so you don't have to wait in that silly line. Aside from that, the food quality is pretty good. For now, I think this is one of my favorite spots. The quality of the fish is tasty and fresh. The prices are pretty good, it's not that expensive. I understand a 4 star rating is very good/high, but I honestly don't understand how this place isn't 4.5 to 5 starts!!! It's definitely as good as it gets and very convenient location/parking unlike Cali Poke. The fish is unbelievably fresh and was even fresh when I had it in my refrigerator for 3-4 days before finishing... I was stunned. On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly/helpful and has a very nice, laid back vibe inside... reminds me of some of the poke places I've been to in Hawaii. Anyway, we're definitely becoming regulars and I just hope this place doesn't become "too" popular! Oh and the pricing for the quality is ridiculously good as well!!! I'm a huge fan of this place. The fish is fresh and the condiments are yummy too. A medium rice bowl with tuna and extra spicy sauce is what I get. More than enough to feed your hungry tummy. I always add the seaweed and sesame seed on top for that crunch. Highly recommend it!! read more
