I usually don't have a problem with my mail , however today we have a different mail carrier . I received 4 pieces of mail that are not mine or my family's . I know to Err is to be human , but mail is a sensitive matter it's something you can't take lightly even if you're in a hurry to finish and go home . I have had numerous problems with my mail carrier for last couple of years and it has always come down to him being lazy. Just recently, I was expecting a package. I could see on tracking info that Azusa post office received it, processed it, sent it out for delivery. Yet within minutes, it went from "out for delivery, " to "insufficient address " to "return to sender". When I called to complain, post Master confirmed my address, which tells me my address was legible enough for them to sort it for routes. Rather than leave it at post office for me to pick up, they sent it back to merchant. Now item is sold out! read more

I have been living in this area for the past 5 years and have not once have I had a good experience in this post office. Every time I go to this post office it's always something happening. It's to the point we're I go the post office in Pasadena on my way to work. The service is terrible and they never answer there phones. There was no line when I got there (minus the person already being helped at the counter by a clerk). When he left, the lady was finishing his order and another clerk was sitting there doing lord-knows-what. It took a while before one acknowledged me, and then said "wait for her to call you." I did wait, not much longer thankfully, and Rene helped me out. She was, in all honesty, one of the sweetest people I've ever met. She was helpful and friendly and really made my day. She went above and beyond her duties. While I didn't like the wait-for-no-reason, her customer service made up for it. read more

This post office not only has historical value but also maintains an excellent staff that always does their very best to make sure people get what they need and don't have to wait in line long at all. But unfortunately this post office is set to be scrapped for parts and demolished. And what do we get for the destruction of this post office? More condos......seriously the magnitude of Azusa city hall official stupidity is off the charts. First it's imposing Rosedale is created, then we have even more surface traffic back up by way of that horrendous car-blocking train that stops traffic in 15 minute intervals....but now we get the pleasure of having even MORE traffic jams thanks to the worthless biological mistakes who authorized more junk to be placed on our doorsteps. City hall get ready. This time I'm going to actually get involved in the politics of campaigns and make sure that the complacent, stupid, lazy, and entirely misguided morons are exposed to the Azusans so that the people actually know who it really is they're voting for. The worst mail delivery ever! I've had several incidents where my mail didn't get delivered because the mailman was too lazy to set foot outside his vehicle. I don't live on a busy street at all. Yesterday I expected a package but nothing was left in my box or door. If I wasn't tracking the package, I wouldn't have known "attempt was made". Well today he dropped my mail but not the package. He left a notice with yesterday's date saying "unsafe again" and "no redelivery". I'm beyond frustrated with this guy! read more

The people at the counter are always smiling and chatting up customers that's it's easy to forget you're at a US Postal Service. Super unprofessional and not helpful at all. Put on hold for 45 min and had to drive out to find my expensive lost package. When I get there the guy who put me on hold tells me "I have a lot of things to do" then tells me he will call me back and sends me on my way. A few of employees there are very unprofessional and need to be replaced. Gloria a female there i have encountered with more than once and each time she shows her ignorance to customer service. they have a less than people etiquette way of talking to people. and whats sad is if you tried to explain it to her or them they wouldn't get it. I lived there for 6 years and the Azusa school conducts theirselves the same way. they speak to you as if you were street people instead of a common respect. hire people with some education and professionalism. it serves them right that soon they will be closing that facility. read more

I will never come here again. Unfortunately, I came here on the 13th to mail a package to Texas which had my phone inside. I was sending it over to Verizon as part of a trade-in to get a lower price to buy a new phone. Verizon provided me with the shipping label and the actual packaging. So the lady with glasses and curly hair helped me out. She told me I didn't have to pay for the package but I did have to buy a stamp to mail in a rebate letter to Verizon. I paid $0.49 with my debit card. I didn't receive a receipt. The lady took my letter and my package and I left. I received a message from Verizon yesterday, the 26th, that the phone hasn't arrived so I decided to investigate. When I tried contacting the usps, they never picked up! I called 3 times and no answer. I called general number for usps and that was even worse because no matter what numbers or options I chose, I was never connected to an actual person. So I tried going online. I couldn't track the package or file a claim because without the receipt I don't have a tracking number. No tracking number means I can't file a claim or track the package. Finally I tried to call Verizon to see if there was any way they could track it but of course they can't. So I decided to come into the azusa post office today to see if they could help. It was the worst customer service. One employee for a line of 15 people. When it was my turn, I began explaining to her what had happened and I asked for her help. She told me she could take a look in the back for me but she needed to know what the sending address was. I told her I didn't know because Verizon printed the shipping label for me but it could be under my address or the Verizon store that helped me. She immediately got annoyed instead of asking for both addresses from me and got her supervisor. Speaking with the male supervisor was even worse. I felt accused of trying to lie about my package. Even after I showed him my checking account and clearly seeing the transaction for the 49 cents under the name "usps azusa CA 10/14" he kept telling me there was no way I only paid 49 cents for the package. I kept trying to explain that Verizon provided me with the packaging and shipping label and the 49 cents was for the rebate letter but he didn't believe me. I asked if he could check like the other employee had suggested and he said no because everything goes through him that gets shipped. He didn't even ask for a description of the package or my name. He told me paying 49 cents isn't proof because the only thing that costs 49 cents there are stamps (even though I explained 10 times at this point that I didn't have to pay for the package/shipping) . He clearly doesn't know his own merchandise because a small package that is hanging by the registers is marked for 49 cents at normal price. I couldn't believe it. This post office is a joke. I have begun filing a formal complaint so we'll see if anything comes out of it. read more

I finally received my insurance packet in the mail with all my personal info in the FIRST CLASS MAIL today which is post marked Jan 08 2016 were as today is Jan 23 2016. Apparently my mail was delivered to the wrong address seeing as that's what I can read under the black marker that is coving the writing on the front but that's not what bothers me it's the fact I get this with tape all long the opening of this package where someone I don't know who opened my mail with all my personal information in it! So now someone out there has had access to my personal information because of a error in a mail room. Now after opening it I can see the normally fresh printed pages have been gone through seriously this is beyond an evasion of my privacy. Worst PO I've seen ever. I work in Azusa and our mail is never delivered timely. Some days it doesn't come till after 5:00 or 6:00. We are a business and require consistency. The lady at the PO calls everyone meha or meho. which can get annoying at times. She talks a lot too with a line full of customers. I understand customer service but wrap it up and move the line. This particular post office has always been one of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had in any post office EVER! I've been here a few times to either pick up a package or drop off one and the people that have helped me (especially this one particular lady) have always been really friendly. She is starting to actually remember me, at least from this Christmas season. The place is always well stocked (envelopes, stamps, boxes). When I picked up my package I loved the fact that the lady still ID me. It makes me feel like my packages are well taken care of and they aren't to be just handed out to anyone in particular. Thankfully even during this holiday season, this office wasn't overly crowded the few times I went in. It is a bit small but I did not feel crampped. I had a question regarding a package I was mailing out and the sweet lady (I wish I could remember her name) was nice enough to explain to me the different options in terms that I could understand. Only reason why I am deducting a star is because parking is usually pretty bad in there. Being that the place is small as it is, the parking is as well and there is plenty of people going in and out of the parking lot all the time. Has to be the worst post office in the world. Packages are always lost. States delivered when its not. Now they are saying the postal carrier is scared to deliver because of animal inference....uhm...The dog is INDOORS behind a locked door and as far as I know, carriers don't deliver inside a house!!!!! They always have attitude and rude when you pick up your packages. They lose your packages and don't do anything about it! They have an attitude when they can't find your package and it's not even your fault. How about, hold your staff accountable for not placing the packages correctly. I usually brush it off and think they are having a bad day but it's consistent. I finally got fed up when a women, mid age, Hispanic helped me. In consideration of this location being short staffed, Renee at the counter is always a pleasure to speak to and so very helpful. I have personally witnessed customer's short tempers with the counter staff for things that are certainly out of their control and my heart goes out to these guys, customer service is a hard job and they deserve as much respect as we expect from them. I was there to send a care package to my nephew currently serving in the Navy and was clueless as far as shipping and declaring the contents. Renee not only walked me through the steps but gave me a different box (less expensive) and tips on what to send him, as she too had family in the service. She didn't at any point have to go out of her way, she could've just handed me the forms and charged me but she didn't. She truly went out of her way for me and continues to provide excellent customer service every time I need to stop by. read more

These guys lost 2 packages in last 2 weeks. Totally unacceptable. The package before this last last was delivered to wrong address and the honest people put it back out for mailman with " "IF ALL ELSE FAILS GET NEW GLASSES SO YOU CAN READ THE ADDRESS! NOT EVEN THE RIGHT STREET!" written on it. I got it delivered 2 WEEKS later after the mailman INSISTED he delivered it to my house and was extremely belligerent about it not being his fault. Seriously? Who's fault was it ? Mine? Oh..yeah..my fault for not living at the address you wrongly delivered it to. But he DID take the time to try and cross out what the people wrote on the package with a black magic marker. Second package today I was at the door at 3:10 pm when the mailman delivered the other mail to us and even remarked to him that he must be the 10 mailman we have had in the last 2 months, and I was waiting for a package that said OUT FOR DELIVERY to me. He checked his truck and NOTHING! Then he checked the tracking number and saw that it said it was delivered ( TO ME! ) at 10:18AM. He ADMITTED that he had to have delivered it to the wrong address and to go in and talk to the supervisor. He said that he would call him and give him a heads up. Drove to speak with supervisor at PO and he told me " You should have had it insured. Nothing we can do since it was not insured " These guys at this Post Office take incompetent to a whole new level. I fully support stopping Saturday mail deliveries. It means one less day to let them lose your mail. read more

It is a post office. With electronic email, and the ease of sending packages by other methods, United States postage employees are probably scared their job may soon be non existent. If i could give it 0 stars I would. This post office sucks so much. I ordered a package and it got sent via post office, so sure it was okay or so I thought. I waited all day for my package, I'm home all day and if I'm not home someone is at least home and are able to get to the door. NOPES they did not even ring the doorbell to tell me they got my package instead they just stick th e slip that says sorry we missed you. I signed the paper and waited. 1 week passed nothing. 2 weeks. I went in to ask where my package was and they are the most rude people I have ever met. First they ignored me when I went in, did not even acknowledge me, and only acknowledged me when their was a lady behind me tapping her feet annoyed. Second they gave me the hardest time saying I should have been home when they rand the doorbell. I told her, I was home and their was no doorbell ringing letting me know of the package. Third she just blew me off and said the package isn't here, that it was sent back. Well thanks a lot. If I could just cut off all connections for the post office that would be wonderful. I've been going to this post office location for over 15 years. Just want to say Postal Clerk Reine is so consistent in her positive demeanor. Anyone who greets me with a smile and says: "Hello Love, how can I help you today?" is in my book at the top of the list for great customer service. Even when the line is longer than I'd like to deal with, I just focus on Reine and watch how sweet and patient she is with every one. I'm just grateful to have our own Post Office location in our city and I am appreciative to have such a nice Postal Clerk to assist us. read more

This is a small post office in my town. The parking lot is also very small, with only enough to fit like 6 cars maybe? So you may have to park on the street if you're not lucky. There is usually about 2 or 3 workers at the desk to assist patrons. When my fiance (now hubby) went there to mail out about 50 of our wedding invitations, the SUPER nice postal worker name Maria or Marie, helped us out and was even nice to help us figure out how much stamp we would need since our envelopes was bigger and weighed more. We both appreciate her friendly customer service. Our invites were sent out and were received by our guests thanks to our USPS! read more

Long story short, came here to pick up an important package, but it was still on a truck. They kept giving me the run around and telling me to come back in an hour. In the end, they shut their doors in my face at 6:00 pm, refused to help me, and told me to come back in the morning. Wow, just utterly shocked and disappointed by the level of unprofessional-ism the employees had. All I wanted was to pick up what was mine. The least they could do was take some time to make sure I got my package than just blow me away and tell me to come back later. If it was still on a truck, at least try to contact the driving or give me an ETA on when he'll be back, or offer to call me when he does. I even called back a few times and no one picked up. Gonna try again in the morning and not going to let them do the same thing again. read more
