I live in N. Hollywood, but never go to this Chandler Blvd. Post Office if I don't have to as they are very cold, rude,some with heavy accents that you can not understand and they charge for parking! I am ashamed and very disappointed in our mailman. I grew up being fine and enjoying usps, but now I take my business elsewhere because they continue to support a mail carrier that can't perform his job. We have an iron gate door and he won't deliver the mail if it's open. Our dog has been outside, still won't deliver the mail if it's open. This has been on going for over 2 years. he makes up erroneous excuses on why he can't perform his job. Today it was a flower pot not Even a foot tall was unsafe. Multiple neighbors have issues with this carrier as well. For example, he won't deliver the mail if their 12ft gate is anything but entirely open. If he cannot perform his job delivering mail to homes, USPS, he should be moved to apartment complexes. None of the wonderful substitute mail carriers have had any problems. This worker is problematic and consistently looking for excuses. It is unfair to who knows how many people that have to deal with him. I understand safety of the carrier, but this guy is clearly not cut out for living outside a padded bubble. read more

I had a package delivered here from FedEx and signed for by D.TIM, on 05/02/16, but the package is no where to be found. I spoke with the Shipping/Receiving Manager, Ed, who claims D.TIM signed for my package, but then placed it on the cargo loading dock to be picked up. WTF?!?! This makes no sense whatsoever and sounds extremely fishy to me. I've since filed a claim with Saks & FedEx for reimbursement in the interim since the Post Office refuses accountability. Can't really begin to say how pissed off I am, today I go to deliver 4 packages I wait in line and when it's my turn the guy says I have the wrong package for my box ( my bad) ok that's my fault so I get out of line and go to get a box in the direction that he pointed me, I repackage my items in the only other box that HE pointed me to. I wait in line again. He than tells me I have my items in the wrong box again, I say to him "so the last box I had was wrong and this box I have is wrong what box do I use? " He says I can get my own box and that I need to buy my own tape, he also makes a big deal about weighing my item, he points in 2 different directions on where to get a box. I step out of line again and don't find the box he was pointing to because it turns out there was No fukin box!!!!!! I go to CVS and pick up tape since he won't tape my box, neither does he say they have tape for sale, or that the boxes I'm supposed to be using are in the God Damn Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I return with my own tape I tell him I'm done with him and get help from another USPS assistant and guess what???? She helps me in 5 min, gets me the boxes that I need and even tapes it for me, Holy shit you would've thought by the way that guy was acting that I was asking for a God damn miracle! An 1 hr and a half later plus the $5 I spent on tape ( that I didn't end up using ) my packages were sent off. This place provides the worst customer service. Actually, I can't even call this a customer service issue because it's deeper than that. This is a civil rights issue. This location has repeatedly discriminated against people with disabilities. I was in there today with my service animal (no indication that it is a service animal). By the state of California, I am not mandated to provide verification of my certified dog. They asked me to leave the store because they do not allow dogs inside. I was told this by 3 different employees, one was apparently a supervisor, the other was just a worker, and the other who was the postmaster named Eddie Loyola. When I refused to leave the store for having my service dog with me, the worker threatened to call the police. I told them to call the police, as me and my dog were doing nothing wrong. Before leaving to call the police, he said I can wait in line for 4 hours, but they will still refuse to provide service to me. I continued to stand in line because I know my rights. This location did not have any signs that stated no dogs are allowed with the exception of service dogs. It did not have any signs displayed inside or outside. After waiting in line for what seemed to be forever, Eddie Loyal approached me and asked me to leave or tie my dog to the pole outside in 95 degrees while I wait in line. I refused to do so. I became very upset/irate with the ignorance of these employees. I asked Eddie to bring me the policy where it clearly states that I am violating a rule. After about 10 minutes, Eddie came back and informed me that I can be assisted today, but next time there will be a sign on the door. He realized he was wrong and that in fact I had not violated any rules! This was clear discrimination. I was just standing in line trying to pay for a label to ship my box with my dog sitting next to me the whole time. The workers had me state in front of everyone in line that I was with a service animal, and Eddie even went so far to ask me what was in my package in front of everyone. In addition, when I finally finished, I was heading out the door, where the man who threatened to call the cops on me was standing. I told him there needs to be an employee training on civil rights in this location. His responses to me by telling me to go read a book. Can you imagine? The employee telling me to go read a book. He is so ignorant. I got the number for consumer affairs and will be filing a complaint. This is not the first time I have personally witnessed discrimination in this store. The last time there was an older gentlemen who was clearly ADA. He had trouble standing for long periods of time, and I could of told he was getting tired from being on his feet too long. The gentlemen asked if there was an ADA line, and the worker said no. Even after she was informed of his disability, she did not go the extra mile to service to gentleman. This is so wrong! Adults with disabilities need to be serviced with more compassion and emphatic, as opposed to being ridiculed and discriminated against. I hope this location closes down or goes under some new management team with workers who actually care about providing a public service to customers. Miserable people! Perhaps one of the single worst US Post Office locations in California, if not the US. Where to start? Maybe with the hours - it's only open from 10am to 3pm, which means it closes a lot earlier than most of the surrounding post offices. (The only good thing about this location is that if you can squeeze into the door before 3, they will serve you rather than kicking you out) Then we can move to the lobby - it looks like it could comfortably serve about 8 people, which is terrible because there are never fewer than 16 people in here. While you're looking around, waiting in a line that sort of just blobs there because the queue is only long enough for 4 people, you'll notice that the clock is off by nearly 45 minutes. Not a great sign of things to come. As I mentioned previously, there's always more than a dozen people in there, which is pretty overwhelming since there is only ever one person working in the front. Good luck talking to them and then good luck dealing with the people who come there. In one trip alone there was someone who argued for about 10 minutes about not being able to provide the documentation they needed, another person showed up to try and pick up their package that hadn't even shipped yet, someone spent 5 minutes discussing whether or not they needed to do anything to an envelope that was already addressed other than put a stamp on it, and another asked if it was okay if the envelope they were using had a tear in it, who then went to their car to retrieve the ripped envelope. It's the kind of place I wouldn't be surprised if someone carried in a live chicken and then got mad when the USPS wouldn't ship it and stand there arguing for 10 minutes. Avoid this one at all costs. There are other options not too far away, only come here if you absolutely have to. read more

i agree with the other reviews, this is the WORST POST OFFICE EVER! who has hours between 10-3 monday - saturday, but this is not your typical post office, this is a pick up parcel only spot. so the line was long, 10 people in front of me, and more arriving by the minute ( i arrived at 11:07 left at 11:20). The space was cramped, size of a large closet, and only ONE person working the counter. she was very pleasant, courteous (nothing bad to say about her). she did her job, with a smile. customer service can be hard, if you have to go, go EARLY. lots of people have packages to pick up on saturday. read more

A couple days ago, I went to this post office and I was very disappointed. When I arrived, I waited for them to open. Once they opened, I went inside and wanted to buy some stamps and the worker said that they dont sell stamps. I was very surprised that a "post office" does NOT sell stamps. I ended up going to Ralphs to buy some stamps, and they had it. I was very shocked and surprised that a post office does not sell stamps at this location. read more

Where do I begin... I ordered some action figures to come to my house (all from different websites) and my sister had 2 packages coming that same day (total 7 packages) supposedly the mailman's tracking says that 4 of my packages came at 11:56 Thursday May 5th, and at 12:38 that same day he came back and delivered another item my 5th order which my sister picked up and when I saw that the tracking showed that apparently my first 4 packages were delivered I called the post office to complain and maybe an hour later my postman came back to my house banging on the door and started giving me attitude and yelling at me. I told him next time knock on the door so I can get my package how hard is it to knock on a door and supposedly he said he doesn't have time (yet I've seen him talking to my neighbors countless times) but he has time to bang on my door and yell at me complain for 10 mins but can't knock? He says tell your neighbor if he the mailman mis-delivered my package, if he is so sure he delivered it why is he asking me to go to my neighbor to see if my package is there? I tell him next time don't throw my package over the gate take it back to the post office and I'll reschedule delivery and next time knock when delivering a package and its been over a month and he never knocks unless the item is signature required, how does he find the time to knock? I thought he didn't have time anyways.... so the day continues and I try to contact the supervisor Rosie who never calls back and is always on a break or never inside the office (tax dollars being wasted at its finest). And then my sisters two packages tracking says that they came May 5th 2:45 pm the same day which is total bs since no other package came that day. And apparently he made 4 trips to my house that day 3 separate "delivery attempts" and 1 trip to my house to complain to me (yet he has no time to knock on my door). Come monday the idiot tries to deliver my package and since the gate was locked I rescheduled for tuesday delivery which didn't come to my house until wednesday 4 packages and well would you look at that the two packages my sister was to receive on Thursday that was "scanned" at 2:45 pm came on wednesday 6 days later along with 2 other packages I ordered. One was opened and one of my boxes was thrashed. At this time my original 4 are still MIA and I've already filed a police report for stolen items. I call USPS back and forth to no avail no one ever calls back and nothing changes so advancements made in "my case" the total of the items which I never received was worth over $200 and the insurance on the items only covered $200. Finally after almost a month the bitch supervisor calls and says the GPS says the items were delivered to my house yet failed to give an explanation on how my sisters packages came 6 days later and offered no help what so ever, if the GPS said that why couldn't your bitch ass call me a day later and say that then?!?!?!? This USPS office is full of bullshit the mailman is a dumbass who doesn't know how to deliver to the correct house, damages packages, and loses my mail. The supervisor is a lazy bitch who can't teach her workers on how to properly deliver mail. After all this I lose over $200 worth of merchandise they don't even work with me to file a claim and in the end I waist about a months time complaining and nothing changes. Now I bought a $300 security camera system so next time I'll see whether or not the idiot delivers my mail. In the past year or so I've had MAJOR issues with my mail being delivered to my house. I ordered a new credit debit card and never received it. I called my bank and they informed me someone was using it. So I ordered another one and once again never received it and the same issue happened again. I've had a neighbor bring my mail to me that they found on the ground in the rain by their house i.e it was my drivers license and a important document from a court house. Ive had mail delivered open already.One day i seen the mail man outside so I went and got my mail from him. In his words he said "thank god your out here I hate walking all the way to the back house". At this point Im very very pist off. I've called the office and they say they'll talk to the mail man yet this shit keeps happening. My next step will be to hire a private investigator to follow the mail man and take legal action against him and his supervisors. Oh and they will be billed for the private investigator. read more

I wish I could give this place a 0. I work for the post office and I can't believe the service I received today. I requested a re-delivery on a package that was never re-attempted. I go to the post office to ask for help and I get the rudest carrier on earth. He said he checked and didn't see my package. I asked for a supervisor then he complains about how the supervisors are fucken awful and they can't help me. He was a bitter employee who didn't provide any help just nothing but attitude as I was only looking for my package. I ask for the number to the station and he refused to give it to me talking about he has been more than helpful and all he wants to is go home and if it was him he would have delivered the package. Blah blah blah blah. I get it. I worked today as well and I'm tired. I standing right in front of him in the same damn uniform. He could have just said I can't help you. I didn't need to hear his complaints about how the station sucks. I felt like I helped him more by listening to how much he hates his life. I find the number and call and they located my package talking about we will deliver it Friday. Now way!! They have lost many of my other packages and certified letters I can't even trust them to wait until Friday. Then the supervisor said I could pick it up. Then he acts like he did me a favor when my package should have been delivered. I signed the noticed left it in my mailbox went online filled out the re-delivery notice and they dropped the ball.
