Horrible place 1 person working, 10 people in line all the time. expect min 1 hour wait to find your mail is not here.

The USPS Service is one of the worse services known to man! DO NOT EVER USE this Service! They don't care about you whatsoever! I shipped a package to Canada via EXPRESS, which the fees are almost double UPS. I will NEVER EVER use USPS service again! By using USPS EXPRESS your package is guaranteed to be delivered to the destination by a certain date and time. I shipped this package for $300 in gifts to my brother in Canada. The package left the United States via LosAngeles and never made it to Canada. I put a case for this package which is now considered lost! Waited over two hours on the phone and all supervisor told me that they are not responsible for my package! Mind you she told me they are not responsible! Why did I spend an extra amount of money for express service and to ensure my package if they aren't responsible? Phone who just blatantly lied to me end it wasn't helpful at all! Warning! Do not even consider on using USPS service ever! Your package will be lost and they don't care and you'll never get your money back! they probably have behind the scenes ripping people off because they know that there's no way anyone can do anything about it! They are thieves! I will be suing USPS for negligence, loss of money, and false advertising! If you ever want is a service to ship your package to Canada or wherever, then use UPS or FedEx, which USPS are Corrupt and they will lose your packages, which are being stolen by their workers and your items will be sold on the black market! read more

This post office doesn't even have a way for you to just drop off a 6 by 6 by 6 box. What fucking good is a post office that can't simply allow me to drop off a box that's 6 by 6 by 6. Called in at 2:11 pm and confirmed with a worker that certified mail and express mail are still being accepted until 3pm when they close. Arrived at 2:35 thinking there is plenty of time to spare... NOPE! After waiting in line for 10 minutes was told that they don't accept it at that time and that I should hurry over to the Lankershim office to get my delivery out. I even told her that I was assured by them that they would accept it, but it didn't matter. They should have told me that over the phone so we don't waste each other's time. This is a very very small Post Office, and usually there is only one or two people working. It gets the job done, but no bells or whistles here. NOTE: This office does NOT sell stamps on Saturdays. It's only open for parcel pickups. read more

While the hours are really inconvenient, I have to commend the employees I've encountered here. Nobody bothers to read signs or accept the fact that Saturday is a pick up only day, then they get all upset and yell at the employees like it's their fault. Or they ask if someone else can come out and help. Don't you think they'd get some more employees out to help if there were any available and if there were more than one register? I'm sure they'd rather get your impatient, attitudinal self out of there faster if they could. I've never seen an employee be anything but courteous, even when they're dealing with difficult people (aka half the people that come through there). read more

I called them to see why my package has been sitting there for months? They asked for my zip code and told me to hold on. 56 minutes later according to my phone a custodian picks up asks me who i'm waiting for and then tells me that the person went to a meeting and no one can assist me at this time... I left my number, but I highly doubt they will call me back. read more

Eeegh...not that great of a post office I'm afraid. At least not for the not locals. I can't really see the locals really liking this post office that much either anyway. It's always cramped and busy and they never have enough people helping out to make the line go quicker. Sorry to give it two stars only, but definitely needs improvement. read more

This is by far the WORST post office! Because I am right on the border of Burbank and north Hollywood all of my stuff gets sent to the laurel canyon location for pick up. The line is alwayssssss long. Never have a come in and there wasn't a ridiculously long line. The associates are so rude. They seem annoyed and have attitudes everytime I want to come in there. I had to come drop off a bunch of big packages today like 11 and some mail and luckily no one was here waiting in line and connie helped cranked them out quickly. She was sweet and in a good mood which was awesome because i always feel bad bringing in a ton of boxes. Couple things that i could see how theres a lot of negative reviews about. -There is ONLY 1 teller so if theres a lot of people youll be waiting. -You cannot ship international mail from here -Seems like the supervisors are not here much. This isn't a Post office. This is a hole in the side of a building that moves mail through it. Sometimes a customer service representative will be there every 20 minutes or so. Better catch 'em fast before they run away into their hidey hole for the next 45 minutes. Don't bother callin', the phone just rings and rings and rings until you just give up. You wanna mail a letter to your grandma?? Too bad, you gotta lay wait in line for and hour standing outside in the hot sun cuz the room only fits 6 people. Literally a joke of a post office. This is the WORST and slowest post office I have ever come across in my life. Unfortunately, this is the one that handles my company's mail. Their carriers are lazy and they in general make a lot of mistakes. There is ALWAYS a long line and never more than one lady at the front and she's not the most competent. This 5 star review is for Rubin Figueroa. He gave me excellent service over the phone. I had package with a dress I had ordered for my daughter's birthday party which rerouted to Maryland from the Sacramento usps office so the overnight shipment that was paid for didn't happen BUT when I finally saw that the package had arrived online to this location I called immediately and got Rubin on the phone. He tracked my package to a carrier (truck) which had gotten into a car accident. Not sure what happened but he assured me it be there by 3pm and if not to email him and that he'd get my package to me after hours since it was for my daughter's birthday. Sure enough it arrived by 3 in time for my daughter to wear it on her birthday! Now that's the best customer service I've gotten from usps! Not sure who will see this from usps but Rubin's doing a great job! read more

15 people shoved into a room the size of a closet while a half-wit postal employee waddles in and out of the room at her leisure occasionally spewing racist tirades at Mexicans struggling with English. Every other review here is spot on. I would never come to this location except that the packages being delivered to me never arrive so I have to hunt them down. They are usually sitting in back and when asked why they were not delivered the one person on staff just stares blankly back at me with empty eyes. Truly the worst post office ever. 5 stars for RUDENESS and INCOMPETENCE!!!!! I put a vacation hold on my mail eff. 6/19/13-6/21/13. The P.O. emailed a confirmation and notice my delivery would resume 6/22/13. I stayed home and waited but no delivery. Did the same on Mon. 6/24 and no mail. Called this p.o. late Mon. p.m. amd was given a lame excuse by some man whose name I didn't ask for. He told me the mail would come the next day. Stayed home waiting on 6/25/13. Put 2 pieces of mail out for pickup. No mail again and called the p.o. starting at 4:45 and NO ANSWER. I wasted 45 min. of my time trying to reach them before closing to no avail. Finally this a.m. 6/26/13 I called and a woman answered and told me to hold for a second after asking to speak with a supervisor. After waiting for 6 minutes to speak to someone, I hung up and called back and was greeted by another rude woman who managed to get a female supervisor. This supervisor assured me rudely that my mail would be delivered today by 5:00 p.m. This p.o. has a looong history of gross incompetence as evidenced by the many negative comments below. BEWARE VOTERS OF NORTH HOLLYWOOD about this place. I have been grossly inconvenienced and caused extreme anxiety and distress by the rude incompetence from this U. S. Post Office. Identity theft is a major concern. It seems they are violating the postal regulations BY TAMPERING WITH THE MAIL (non-delivery). There have been similar problems with this post office off and on for years. Enough is enough! I know post offices have a reputation for being bad, but this one takes it to a whole new level! I used to use this post office thinking it was out of the way and would have shorter lines and faster service - boy was I wrong! There are only about 6 parking spots and the longest lines ever. Also, it always smells in there. But, there was one aspect that made me keep going back - There used to be a woman working there (because there is only ONE register in the whole place) who had a nice radio playing in there and even a fan for the days it was hot and stuffy in their little cramped space - Well, guess what...SHE could get that long line taken care of FAST, and she was efficient and friendly - with a good sense of humor - So, of COURSE, the government HAD to get rid of her...after 25 years working there and literally knowing everything about shipping off the top of her head...they decide to put her in the back - sorting letters. REALLY?!?! You take the ONLY good thing about this post office and REMOVE it. So, now what is it like in there? They removed the radio, fan, and even the wall clock (so that you can't realize just how long you've been waiting in line!) and replaced that woman with a woman who does NOT know her job - AT ALL. She's unprofessional and very rude. She quoted me one price and then rang it up and said it was a different price - without even getting my prior approval!!! She's nuts. She takes FOREVER! EVERYONE bails after waiting so long - She doesn't even care and it almost seems as though she goes out of her way to be as SLOW as possible. She also doesn't speak English very well and has a very hard time understanding what people want and responding to it. The other customers in line stand there complaining and asking for Mgmt. - Heck, the one day I was there, she made me SO mad I wanted to speak to a manager about it - but, alas! - there were 2 other people already waiting to speak to one about her bad service, so I just left. I will go to any other post office BUT this one now. This post office is only good for the mailbox drop boxes on the side of the road out in front. Period. read more

Unfortunately this isn't actually a Post Office. They only do pickup of mailbox contents. I was told they don't sell stamps and don't even have a machine for them. The worst phone system in the world, all I need was a redelivery and instead I was on the phone for 25 minutes and then hung up on because I needed to speak to a person. Why not just ask for the delivery code and giove3 the option to redeliver. Not to mention they only tried once. I never recommend using the post office box, by far the worst shipping service. Wish I could give them zero stars. We set up a "hold mail" that was supposed to end 12/28 but our mail was never delivered. I called corporate to complain and they sent a notice to our local post office - this one - to notify them that something was wrong. Ron called on Saturday to assure us that our mail is in the office and would be delivered that day, but of course, it was never delivered. He even left a phone number to call him back in case we needed to reach him or needed help. I've called that phone number so many times in the last few days, no one ever picks up and there's not an option to leave a voicemail. WHY DO YOU STILL HAVE OUR MAIL?! This is extremely unprofessional and sketchy, we are waiting on time sensitive items and feel that our mail is being stolen. Not sure what our carriers problem is; we typically have two in our complex, one very nice woman and a very unprofessional and rude male. Not sure if they just took the week off because they felt like it or are skipping our complex entirely. This is absolutely ridiculous. After filing two claims we don't know what else to do other than come down to the office and start demanding answers. read more

Whether via phone or in person, it stands to reason that the employees at this location know nothing about how the basic US postal system operates much less Priority and Express options.
