You even need to disconnect the battery to get to the headlight area. So Black Diamond Auto changes it for me for a nominal fee. I just bring them the headlight bulb. Easy peasy and I'm so appreciative. Recently our sons older Ford needed some work that was out of our scope. Intake manifold work. BDA charged way less than what we expected. And when we brought it home, after being fixed, sadly it was still leaking transmission fluid. BDA took the truck back without hesitation and fixed the gasket leak within the day. They promised another call within 30 minutes. Never happened. By 2:00 PM, my brother-in-law had to drive there in person just to get an answer. They told him it would be ready by 4:30 PM (they close at 5:00). We arrived at 4:45 PM -- only to be told it wasn't ready and we'd have to return the next day. I explained our mom was in the hospital and we urgently needed the car. They said it was "half done" and couldn't be released -- no apology, no urgency. I had to walk to the shop the next morning to retrieve the vehicle. They gave us a 10% discount, but honestly? Not worth the stress, wasted time, and total lack of professionalism. Bottom line: If your time matters or you need clear communication, take your business elsewhere. This shop does not respect your time, your needs, or basic follow-through.
