Instead, I was told I would need to tow the vehicle back in. I explained that I didn't think I should have to pay for a tow when the problem appeared to be related to the work they had just done. Rather than working toward a solution, the manager, Jonathan, became combative and argumentative. The tone was defensive and dismissive, not helpful. When I asked for the name of his manager or someone I could escalate the issue to, he refused to provide it and acted like there was no one above him. I ended up having to call the main customer service line myself to try to get this resolved. I did not create this issue. The tire was covered under warranty, I brought it in for repair, and shortly after the service the tire was completely flat. A reasonable response would have been an apology, arranging a tow, and correcting the problem. Instead, I was met with resistance and poor customer service. Really frustrating experience, and not what you want when dealing with something that directly affects vehicle safety.

I ended up taking it to the dealer, and the dealer said that the brakes were metal on metal at this point. I contacted parents and they admitted to me they didn't check the back brakes. I ended up having to get my rotors replaced as well. I don't know if the fact that they drove my car with bad brakes extensively damaged the rotors. my car only has 65,000 miles on it. I just don't think there was any excuse for them not figuring out it was the brakes within one day. Definitely shouldn't take three days and many many miles of driving it to try to "listen for the noise" themselves even though I played audios of what it sounded like for them..

There were absolutely no issues prior to the oil change. The timing is not a coincidence. I contacted the shop right away. I was told to check back on 02/28 and that the manager would handle it. When I followed up, I was told the manager wasn't available until Monday and that I would "have to wait" while they conducted an "investigation" and reviewed camera footage. They claimed the technician did not touch the sensor. However, their own higher-up acknowledged that the sensor could have been cleaned and reset -- which their technician did attempt. That reset did absolutely nothing to fix the issue. Despite this, they continued to deny responsibility. I sought a second opinion from a mechanic I know personally who works as a mechanic for a landscaping company. Instead of addressing the mechanical findings, the shop repeatedly tried to discredit him by referring to him as "a landscaper," even after being clearly informed that he is employed as a mechanic for that company. That felt dismissive and unprofessional. Ultimately, my mechanic repaired the issue and the vehicle is now running properly again. This confirms that there was in fact a problem that needed to be corrected -- a problem that began immediately after the oil change service. As a result of this situation, I incurred $556 in total expenses, including: - $115 for the oil change - $190 for the sensor - $150 for labor - $56 Uber to return to the shop - $45 Uber home because the vehicle was not safe to drive This has caused financial loss, stress, and significant inconvenience -- all from what should have been a simple maintenance visit. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of accountability and the refusal to take responsibility for an issue that began immediately after their service. In all seriousness, it essentially sounded like my front brake caliper was holding on by a thread tapping, grinding, and smacking against everything. The service team was able to get eyes on and pull the car in the shop and on the lift, and let me know a rock from the loose gravel of Minnesota in winter was to blame. In and out in 10 minutes. Got a call at 2:20 saying my vehicle had been inspected and there were a few things off with it, but it would be done soon. Showed up at 2:50 and the car wasn't close to being finished and ended up being done at 3:45. Was charged an additional inspection fee for something I did not ask for as well as being asked no discount for it taking 7 1/2 hours for something that should maybe take 30 to 45 minutes. When I asked about it all this, I was told I wouldn't get my keys back.
