Within two weeks of my purchase, my AC started blowing out hot air. TWO WEEKS. I just brushed it off because people make mistakes, but here I am three months after purchasing the car with ANOTHER problem. This problem resulting in a broken radiator. The average lifespan of a radiator is 8 to 10 years. YEARS. Yes, the car had a previous owner; but this only a 4 year car. So how is it that half through a lifespan for a radiator this one just breaks? After the car was inspected, the mechanic kept asking me if I had been in an accident due to the amount of damage on the radiator. The radiator broke due to corrosion. that doesn't happen in 3 MONTHS. Not to mention, I am currently sitting in the dealership now trying to work something out and have had to wait almost an hour and a half to speak with a manager. What do I have to do to not be screwed over when buying a car? This is not on me. read more

Well let me start off by saying this journey started 8 months ago and I have been in this dealership 3 times. I am most definitely a skeptic and wasn't expecting to get a car today. Could've had a better experience. We got a few through a broker, but we still decided to go a get the car ourselves. The salesman didn't give us much attention as we expected, and he didn't go over the features of the car with us. When we got the car it had a scratch on it, so they told us that they will contact us to bring it for maintenance. When we did, we found out that they gave us the wrong car. Meaning that for almost 3 weeks we drove a car that TECHNICALLY we don't own, and without insurance. They have made so many mistakes that I am still dealing with MONTHS after my purchase! Tim, Hovik and Jason are all idiots. They have no idea what they're talking about or what they're doing and their customer service is extremely terrible. Tim is a sleazy sales guy from New York that smells like shit and doesn't even come to work professionally. Yet again, I have another bad experience with them. It seems to get worse and worse the more I deal with them. I called to place an appointment for my oil change. I asked to get forwarded to service, so that I may place my appt and the sales guy told me that it's first come, first served and that they open at 7 AM. I've always previously placed an appointment, so I found it weird. When I arrived the next day for my oil service, they told me that it would take four hours to get my parts in because my car requires specific parts and oil filter and asked me why I didn't place an appointment. I stated that I tried to place an appointment and get forwarded onto service, but the sales guy told me that it was first come first served. They also noted that whoever told me that was an idiot.. Where do I start? In early 2020, I contacted RWARMF in hopes of trading out of my 2018 Dodge Durango that had $8k of negative equity buried into it and into an Alfa Romeo Giulia. I was pleasantly spoken to by Alondra, the BDC representative, and Swan. They told me what they could do to eat up the negative equity and get me into a Giulia of my choice. At the time, it didn't make sense as the pandemic just started so I decided to ride out the Durango. August 2020 comes and I get an amazing offer to buy my car out of its lease by an online car dealership so I took it. I had finally become a free agent, so I decided to take a break. In March of 2021, I reached out to Swan again to see what lease prices were since I was getting anxious about getting a new car. Still didn't work out for me. So I waited. Let me remind you, each time I spoke to Swan, he always gave me a quote and it was a very aggressive discount. I never got any "we don't quote over email" "you need to come in to get a price" nonsense that other stores will give you. I enjoy that type of transparency. 2021 passes and here we are in 2022 and it is time to get a car. I immediately reach out to Swan after exploring their website and finding 2 cars that matched what I was interested in. He immediately reached out to me and gave me a very strong price. I was intrigue, but not sold, but he followed up 2 days later with an even stronger deal that his manager Sami. So whenever you read this review, remember 2020 - 2022 there have been chip shortages and dealers are getting greedy and holding gross. Most stores are pre-selling their cars before they even arrive to the store AT MSRP and in some instances OVER MSRP. I would never do this as this is the perfect way to be UPSIDE DOWN in 2 years when things "normalize" and you decide to sell your car and since you took such a big loan, the value of your car will be less than the remaining amount on the loan. This was kind of a moot point for me since I was leasing, but I digress. Once I received the stronger deal, I said it was a number that worked for me and I agreed to the car. Filling out the credit application was very easy. I provided Swan all the documentation he needed and made plans to get to his store at 6:30pm. Upon arriving at the store, Swan greeted me and showed me my soon-to-be car. What a beauty! He then sat me down with the finance manager, Evelyn, who took care of the paperwork. I decided to purchase the Wheel Tire Hazard Insurance since I am a firm believer in this form of insurance Swan then gave me a tutorial on the new Alfa technologies and away I went. I just want to thank Swan and his team in their transparency, honesty, aggressive realistic pricing, and making this an extremely seamless and awesome experience. My advice, be open and tell them what you want to pay. If it is possible, they will make it happen. Remember, dealers want to sell you cars, but they also need to feed their families. I bought a Toyota Highlander there a few months back. I know they were just trying to get it off their lot so I let a lot of customer service things slide. But today I found out that a plan I was sold wasn't actually what it was. So let's start from the beginning The sales rep was very uneducated and told us in order for a car to leave the lot we had to purchase a $2500 for tires and detailing. We walked. We got stopped by the sales manager who then told us he would basically give it to us for $100. Which happened. When we left it looked like they just wiped the car down and didn't clean the inside of the car. Which was disappointing Then we went to finance. Of course they tried to up sell everything. We decided on a tire package which we were able to go to any Costco to get nitrogen in ten tires and an oil change package which we would be able to go to any Toyota for. After calling all the Toyota's in our area (Long Beach) we were told we have to go to van nuts to get oils changes which is an hour from our house. The finance manager literally told us he use to live in Long Beach and which Toyota to go to and now we have to go all the way to van nuys. I would have never bought an oil change package if I had to travel an hour from my house in order to get it done. I know car dealerships are normally sleezy but watch out for these guys. Service advisor without hesitation told me that the spark should be replaced which is not scheduled to be replaced per factory recommendation until after 80k miles. The service adviser also recommended per their technicians that tires need to be replaced soon. I checked the tires myself and the threads are still good except for one tire which is more worn out than the rest, but again, still a few months before needing to be replaced. The dealer advised replacement real soon and asked if I want to go ahead and do it. I asked the service advisor why she recommended spark plug replacement when the car only has 18k miles? I heard nothing back. I also filled out their survey and asked to be contacted and never heard from them. I just purchased a vehicle yesterday, and I wish I had viewed these ratings before I purchased. I went through the Costco auto buying program, which the dealership is supposed to present the Costco price sheet when you come in. I had my certificate from Costco however, when I asked the sales person Richard, he said the dealership does not have any additional paperwork only what I come in with. This is a Lie. I called Costco this morning and they stated the dealership was to hand me the negotiated price form that has their logo on it. The sales person also told me the add-ons were mandatory and the GPS was already on the car I did not want any of the Add-ons. They started at 3800 and reduced down to $999. I was told that this was already added to the car not knowing I was paying for a subscription and this was an option. That was never said I do not like being lied to. I have reached out to the dealership and they have not sent me over the Costco paperwork, why not. I will not recommend this dealership for their shady practices. I really think Costco should remove this dealership from their auto buying program. UPDATE: I just realized they did not give me a copy of the paperwork I signed, only a copy of the financing agreement. read more

Employees were very responsive when it came to selling my car. They even emailed me documents to sign in my dads behalf (which I'm sure is illegal). Now that they messed up my DMV documentation, no one is available. I get hung up on by the receptionist, finance isn't available, sales managers aren't available, my sales person Karim isn't available. All the satisfaction quickly turned into a major disappointment. What a waste of time... they emailed me about a buy back program that they had going on, bugged me for a couple of days to come in, told them most likely the deal wouldn't be able to happen. But still told me they would be able to figure something out for me, so I decided to go on my lunch break Tuesday. They told me they would email me or text me in an hour or so with the numbers and what they can do, that was a 2pm Tuesday. Called them after I got off work which was at 5pm, kelvin said he would call me back in 5min because he was going to go over the numbers, 3 1/2 hours go by and still no call, so I called again around 8:45pm Kelvin answers and said he got caught up with a client, spoke to His GM and they were so "short staffed" he couldn't get the numbers for me and said he would call me early morning the next day. It's now Wednesday 10:21pm and never heard back from anyone, and we've been going back and fourth since last week Thursday! Never going to do business here again, not only did they waste my time, but they didn't even have the courtesy to give me a call back and at least tell me it wasn't going to work out. As I found out, the car price shown on their web site is meant to get you on the lot and then they spring the $4000 package scam of GPS, paint protection, nitrogen in the tires, and some bar code theft BS that they "put in all their cars." I mentioned that they should put this on the web page and am told it is indeed there - all the way down on the bottom in the fine print. I should have walked out at that moment and not wasted any more time. Long story short, ended up walking out after two hours, two salesman, and one manager that accused me of wanting "a win." I told them exactly what I had to spend and no more. A note to Swan K., don't even come back to me with your "we pride ourselves..." spiel. I went in last week for an appointment to test drive a CPO Stelvio Base model. The car I had come to see was extremely dirty on the outside and did not smell fresh on the inside. I inspected the car and found that a part was missing in the front and also the spare tire was missing from the trunk. I was told by the salesman that those cars do not come equipped with spare tires. Still, I was interested in buying the car because Certified Stelvios in Black are hard to come by. The salesman provided me with a printout of the cost of the vehicle, plus taxes, plus extra fees. The amount of extra fees seemed ridiculous. The total price for the car listed at $27,888 with the rest of the "non negotiable" fees came to $34,070. I was disappointed and left. Thank. God. I. did. Today, a week later, I went to Puente Hills Alfa Romeo to test an upgrade of what I tested at Russell Westbrook. Same year, different color, still Certified. But a TI model instead of a base model. It came to me in pristine condition. The sales person took his time to show me all of the bells and whistles. And there WAS, in fact, a spare tire ( ironic, since the salesman at RW said they don't come equipped with spares. ) The car I bought from the Puente Hills Alfa Romeo today, was listed at almost $1000 more than the base model at RW. But, when they presented me with the print out of the total cost of the vehicle, it was THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($3,000) LESS than the quote from RW. The fees at Puente Hills were straight forward, nothing ridiculous, no stupid extras. The experience was a stark contrast to the one I had at Russell Westbrook's. RW's sales team really tried to get over on me with all the unnecessary fees and missing car parts - something you might expect from a raggedy dealership, not a luxury one. Again, if you're looking to buy a Certified Alfa Romeo, please try the one in Puente Hills or any other one BEFORE you come to this one and get duped. read more

RED FLAGS when they said can't complete the deal tonight because they're Tired and that $16,000 for down payment. Guys I am a victim of identity theft credit score went from 747 to mid 570's only reason why I finance this cheap car with them! Our sales guy, Karim came off sweet, turned into a demon alongside with Juan and guy by the name of Swan Kim swear in front of me (cussed a customer out on the phone while waiting on Finance manager complete my deal) dated Sunday May 7th in person with STIPULATIONS after three hours of selecting (2023 Stelvio Extrema $1000 down all of a sudden Dorian and I were told they' can't complete the deal we'd have to wait and send Uber Monday, May 8, 2023. Petros, Sales Manager exceeded our expectations, I ended up not having to put one penny down because of headaches, heartaches encountered by the dealership including wrong VIN fast forward, The General Manager John said he'd make the deal right by including black coated rims, black badges and window tint for everything ensured from his team of idiots that couldn't seem to help. i.e. cussing in front of us, requesting higher payment and down payment and Chrysler Cap maximum allowance lies, Long Wait times, inability to help on May 6th that wad: wrong cars sales people/managers provided wrong information about the deal, numerous sales folks involved in the transaction's and lack ethical and integrity issues-We talked over 48 mins Friday, May 12th and John promised make sure car would be switched to 2023 Extrema or take care of items (black coated rims, tint, black badges) . To date John hasn't called or emailed me. The dealership has a long history or lying about their mistakes and unwilling attitude to correct them immediately. Ohhh several sales guys said they can't stand his guts! Pan out I despise him too the guy had no tact, class, or experience to be in a managerial position. Swan wrongly advised Jennifer the car wouldn't get funded and that they need to repo last Monday, June 7th. Jennifer accompanied lies until Chrysler Cap agreed to conference the dealership June 7th they too was in awe how Swan lied about deal won't fund and that the car wasn't going to be repossessed due to his inability coupled with Juan not providing the contract in adequate terms. Chrysler CAP "EVA"advised Jennifer only two items needed for the funding (dealer contract). I told Eva what the dealership owned me, Jennifer said items wouldn't be a problem that car should I find first before they take care of it (again terrible-poor communications). Once Jennifer heard that, she prepared docs and couldn't stop apologizing foR SWAN lies, deceits, and aggressively taunting behaviors towards me. Please stay away from fraudulent, inconsiderate dealerships like Van Nuys! Take your time and business to reputable dealers that keep their customers happy, follow up with them after purchases are completed. Not one person in Sales including the GM has (let that sink in). After I coordinated all efforts, Candy with Chrysler Cap funded the deal today, June 12 well over one month car been in my possession.... On record me and Chrysler Cap made funding happen with over 100 calls placed by me and only me! But they haven't provided promise items/ $2,000 check. See attached mesages... Honestly, couldn't be more disappointed. These reviews couldn't be more true. Seems like once they lock you into a vehicle, they can care less. Our key fob doesn't unlock or lock our vehicle. We have to manually unlock the car and mind you this is a 2020 vehicle. Called our sales guy and he said to bring it in...we did. We get in line at the service department only to be ignored. Finally met with our sales person and he acted like he knew nothing, (Literally called and spoke with him). We ended up having to pay out of pocket to have a replacement key made. To make matters worse, no one returns our calls or gets back to us. I continuously get the runaround from the front desk when asking to speak with Finance or our sales person (David). We are always told the same answer... "he's not here" "oh they are so busy right now" Now, I'm stuck with paying for a car I traded in NEARLY A MONTH AGO AND a new car payment for the vehicle we just purchased??? I came in to discuss dollars and cents about a pre-owned 2017 Honda Civic Si that was aggressively priced at $21,595. Their out-the-door price was over $7,000 higher than their advertised price, and they had added $5,000 of "non-negotiable" after-market items. My Car Sales Manager friend tells me that if it's taxable, it's negotiable. They were willing to "split" the aftermarket fees with me, but still had me down to pay a very large mark-up for Nitrogen-filled tires (a known gimmick), a GPS theft deterrent (approx. $200-$500 cost that they were requesting close to $1,000 for) and cloth and paint protection (another known gimmick). After double checking their math again, I found that they were overcharging for taxes (10% instead of 9.5%) and overcharging DMV fees by $132. If you're going to deal with them, bring a computer and calculator. The CA DMV has a fee calculator site that as based specifically on a vehicle VIN; it's not an estimator. Research the dealer cost of aftermarket mark-ups (the info is out there on the web). I've heard from two other people directly that they have had similar experiences here. I'd look elsewhere.
