I used their service on October 6th and my moving was very simple: the distance was almost 5 minutes drive, almost 80% of my belongings were in garage and left in garage in a new place and we had only 3 pieces to carry to second level. Overall even as their crew said was an easy job. The team arrived 9:15 within the window I have been told but they showed up as 2 instead of 3 ppl. I said it is all good as the job wont even take 3 hours with 2 ppl (imo). They started fast and everything was alright. Another gentleman also arrived at 10:00 and their manager offered me a discount since he arrived late but I said all good and I dont need discount (good gesture). Well when the packing was done I went for a quick check to see nothing has left and saw one of the door has been damaged. Well they have not told me the damage and I assumed they either did not notice they damaged it or forgot! Still I said all good please send someone to fix and they agreed. Anyhow, long story short, the unpacking was ok and they charged me the 3 hours minimum. I even paid them a generous tip and they left. I sent a reminder the day after to please send someone to fix as the place was rental and I had to turn in the keys and they said "Sure we do". Sadly they never sent even though they promised and when I sent the last email that "Your guy did not show up. Any bill from landlord on the damaged door will be forwarded to you. I clearly said I have to return keys today and you said Sure!" they even did not bother to answer or apologize, wow! This is not the way you run a business, right? This is called customer service after your client be so cool with everything I mentioned above and just wanted you to fix something you made and promised to and DID NOT. I would not recommend this company to others because every company can and is welcoming when you want to use them in the first place but what matters is how they treat you after/during and when the job was done. I hired Vector for our move because of Eddie, he was extremely responsive, professional and knew his stuff! Everything was reviewed up front, zero surprises. There was so much to do for our move and we were hoping to have the movers just get us to our new home, they did way more than just help. This team was amazing from the time they called to let us know they were 20 minutes away to the very end when they pulled out of our new driveway! These three movers just came in and went to work. Christian took a look, asked a few questions and they took care of it. Our place was full and our furniture big, as a matter of fact the guys that moved us in had to take furniture out the patio and over the fence bc they couldn't get it down the stairs to our bedrooms. This team got into all of the tight corners and moved everything through the inside of our condo. No scratches, no dents, nothing broken. At the new place they didn't have stairs so they went to town, we had to stay out of their way bc they moved so swiftly. At one point we said they looked like synchronized swimmers/dancers. They looped the dolly around with our heavy furniture with ease and turning corners on a dime. I cant say enough but this was money well spent, they gave us much more than a move, they gave us peace of mind and a worry free move of our belongings. When you think about it, everything you own is in that truck!!! They packed the truck with precision, professionals that go above and beyond. We labeled everything so they knew exactly how To stack it in the truck and where to drop the boxes when they arrived at the new house. Everything marked as fragile or Nothing On Top was followed and taken care of. They know their business. This moving company has been fantastic! I called on Thursday to schedule a move for Saturday. I was told that the schedule for Saturday was pretty tight but they would be more than happy to take care of me. My movers we scheduled to be at my house in the time block of 12-330... They called me to let me know exactly what time they would be there. As well as extended a courtesy call when they were leaving the office. I appreciated this tremendously- moving is hectic and being able to have a set schedule makes it that much easier. When the two movers arrived, Max and EZ, they were extremely professional. Introducing themselves, explaining the process, and setting expectations up front. Paperwork was done quickly and thoroughly and they got right to work. Both, Max and EZ are hard workers! They never stopped, complained, slowed down, or showed a bit of fatigue. They both kept trucking through the entire move. They wrapped all of my furniture extremely carefully, taking care like it was their own. Running into some obstacles with my narrow staircase/ sharp corners and large oversized furniture both Max and EZ worked as a team. Very efficient men. They brainstormed how to best proceed through the obstacles- trying different approaches each time and never giving up or getting frustrated. Mission accomplished! Loaded the final things into their truck and then cleaned up the remaining pieces of wrapping that were in my home. Leaving my home clean and tidy. We met back up at my new home location where the team was very cooperative and efficient in getting everything unloaded quickly. Extremely professional movers, both Max and EZ. Eddie, Anthony and Alan are rock stars today! I have lived in 8 different states and moved many, many times, and have used at least several different moving companies. I had a move that required pick up from 3 different places and we weren't sure if we were going to have enough room in our rental truck (we didn't use theirs because we have to move out of town.) They were so ready to listen and work hard. Even though it rained solid until right before our move at 3 pm, they showed up with smiles on their faces. (They told me that they were all wet from their first shifts.) I'm just super thankful that they helped our move today. They did a really nice job (and I'm usually pretty picky). Eddie was a great foreman, and his leadership of the crew showed. He was able to pack the truck so tight that there was really no room left. The whole crew was fast and worked well together. Everyone had a really good attitude, unlike another local moving company that I used. The other company actually asked me to leave them a good yelp review and I appreciate that these guys didn't. Also, I called the main line and talked with Frank probably every other day the week before I moved. Frank was always really helpful and professional on the phone. He even gave me suggestion on which truck rental company to go with. Anyway, they worked until 7 pm and I know two of them had a first shift. Update as I have now used Vector moving a 2nd time - 20 months after first using their services. As a second time customer I am equally pleased with the service this time around as i was initially. My interactions with the Vector team have always been positive, courteous, and helpful. I appreciated the timely responses and the confirmations via email and text prior to my appointment. The foreman, Jimmy, and his colleague Omar were exceptional on move day. They worked hard and thoughtfully. I could not have had a better experience. What can I say? Vector Moving is simply one of the best moving companies I've dealt with - period from start to finish. I requested a quote through their website and received a response within 30 min. I was moving from out of a 3 bedroom house and into a 2 bedroom upstairs condo with no elevator. The two movers Corey and Kevin were a delight and joy to work with. Corey called me 30 min before the designated time and they arrived promptly on the dot. Both guys were really friendly (they both were from Kazakhstan - we instantly struck up a connection because of our shared interest in the current famous boxer from their country). Corey and Kevin worked efficiently as a team loading up their truck and taking great care in wrapping items. Both of them were equally speedy in unloading the truck at my final destination. I had quite a few boxes filled with heavy text books in addition to large / awkward gym equipment. Everything was transported quickly and safely. Since I paid in cash, the hourly rate was slightly lower as well as a positive review on Yelp. Overall, I am very happy and pleased with Corey and Kevin from Vector Moving. I have been meaning to write this review for weeks but moving to a new home has a way of taking up lots of time! I couldn't let anymore time pass and finally am sitting down to write this to express my appreciation for an incredible job done by the crew who came to my home in Carmel Valley to pack us up one day and move us the next. I had multiple companies provide quotes, and felt really good about choosing Vector, but still I was nervous because I've had so many challenging moves. Eddie was very helpful and gave a very reasonable and thorough quote, But the moment I met Nate and the rest of the crew- Ruben, Nikolai, Dey, and Matt, I was put at ease. They couldn't have been kinder, more careful or more professional. They assured us that the packing and moving would be done quickly and systematically, and they were right. They were so respectful. Recently used Vector Moving to move our 2 bedroom apartment. We have moved ourselves numerous times and pretty much exhausted our friends and family from helping us out. This time we figured why not hire the professionals. We found ourselves lost in a city not knowing who to contact. We looked on good ole yelp and found a few companies highly recommended. Afterbspeaking with all of them Vector won our confidence they could get the job done right. We needed a quick move too since our Apartment Complex was helping us out and allowing us to leave earlier then our lease ended. We got an afternoon appointment today between the hours of 12-3 ... the timing couldn't have been any better for us since we hadn't had time to finish packing. Vector showed up within the time frame and far exceeded our expectations. Corey, Max & Kevin were amazing. These guys powered through our apartment in no time. They took the time to wrap our couch and mirrors made sure to make everything right. We can't tell you how relieved we are to have these 3 guys help us out. This is the first review I have written, and the second time I have used Vector moving services. I am a repeat customer because my first experience was outstanding, and none of the other moving companies I have used previously could compete with Vector's value and customer service experience. I felt compelled to leave the company and my hard-working movers a review to commend them for their superior customer service and job well done. All the scheduling is done online, which is really convenient. The day before the move, a Vector customer service agent calls to confirm everything. My move was scheduled for 8-9 am and the movers called 30 minutes ahead of time to let me know they were on the way. They arrived promptly at 8 am and got right to work. The movers they sent, Max and Michael, were polite, hard-working, and true professionals. They moved all my belongings quickly and efficiently, and ensured everything was wrapped with care. I was moving and I wasn't trying to move so I found this company on yelp and read their reviews which were all good. I did the online reservation so I could get a discount price by the way. So when it came to moving day I was called up early to let me know Ranard, Jessie, and Antionio were on the way. They showed up right around the time they said they would be at my house. They came in and seen what I needed and got to work right away. All three of them were very polite and all professional. I tried to help out to move things from the apartment to the truck and in a very polite yet funny and mind changing way I was told "Would you go to Burger King and ask to cook your own burger??" I was mind blown because he was right, I wouldn't go there to cook my own burger, I expect the pros to do the job. Once they were down with loading the truck it took another 20 mins or so to get to the new place and they started unloading and putting everything where I was telling them. They all did an amazing job and I would definitely use them again if I am to move (which I don't plan on it anytime soon). Thanks for the excellent work. read more

I definitely was hesitant as this was my first time ever hiring movers. I wasn't sure if I was going to get good service or whether my stuff was going to ruined. I have moved plenty of times in my life. But moving is awful and I decided to take the chance and hire professionals instead of bothering friends and family as usual. The movers Caesar and Stanley arrived on time to my storage unit. After a quick introduction we toured the storage cell to see what we would be working with. As soon as that was done, they got to work. Although my stuff was already pretty protected, they took the time to make sure valuables were wrapped correctly, and that boxes were fully taped up. My stuff arrived to my new place all in great shape. They did the move in under the minimum time required so I didn't have any 'overtime' to pay. They were always respectful calling my 'sir' even though I was about their age and told them they could call me by my first name. After using Vector as my moving company, I will never move by myself again. I would recommend these guys to anybody. To me its a no-brainer to use these guys. read more

BONUS: Vector didn't break one single thing! THANK YOU VECTOR MOVING - for making my moving experience so pleasant! Historical Note: I previously used Two Men & A Truck, twice in the last 3 years in San Diego. Not only did they break several things including a lamp, mirror and destroyed my plants - but they were double the rate as Vector and they were late.
