I went in to add a new device to my service and received great customer service from Tatiana. She walked me through the costs associated with the device addition as well as set up. She gave me her direct phone number in case I had questions after we left the store, and I ended up having to use it because I couldn't set up my device properly. She was on another call when I called but she called me right back, and walked me through the process with as much friendliness and patience as she showed when I was in the store. Went to 'this Verizon to have a battery replaced 2/14/20. I was told; it was very difficult, the phone needed to be sent away, and the closest other vender available with the capability, was in Oakland. Then this saleswomen tried desperately to entice me into purchasing another phone. Repeatedly reiterating the difficulties involved with replacing the battery. I walked out, found a vender in pleasant hill, literally 10 minutes away. I had my battery changed in 20 minutes and it only took that long because there were other patrons ahead of my needs. I would advise everyone to stay clear of this Verizon branch. They are "beyond dishonest". Blatant liars whom are devoid of any semblance of integrity. read more

Every employee went ABOVE and beyond I would like to get a special shout-out to Jackie for taking that additional step and simply looking through emails to find my return label on a phone I was trying to trade in since July. Another special shout-out to Tati for actually printing out my label and taping it for me again another employee going the extra mile. Joshua who was exceptionally informative, very helpful, kind, especially for me being a last of the day customer, he literally stopped to help me while he was heading out of work for the day and I took up a lot of his time and he never made me feel bad about it nor got upset with me for it. Daniel very friendly, very nice, we had a nice small conversation. Again I can go on for days about how this location has treated me I'm beyond grateful. Avoid this store at all cost, These guys are crooks! borderline fraud going on here Took my father in law here to buy two replacement phones. We picked 2 lower end models and were ready to pay for them cash 1) store employee has us digitally sign some terms and conditions, never mentioning price or fees. After everything is signed, he mentions each line will have a $35 upgrade fee. Apparently you cant just purchase a phone with verizon and pop in your sim card without paying an additional $35 upgrade fee. sounds fishy to me, but we didn't want to deal with the hassle of going to another store so decide to move forward 2) its time to pay for the device, and they won't allow us to pay for the phones outright. We have to downpay 90% and pay the rest as an installment. Weird, but still not a huge inconvenience so we proceed 3) upon reviewing the charge items, we notice an addtional $20 per line fee from the store (never mentioned by the employee). So now the charge is $55 per line ($110 for two lines) just to buy a phone and pop in a sim card at this store. At this point we decide to cancel the deal and figure something else out. Why pay a $110 premium for the privilege of shopping at this independently owned and operated Verizon store that opened more than an hour later than their posted hours (a different story for a different time). 4) So we tell the employee that we want to cancel the deal, and he informs us that our 2 phones are now deactivated and the two new phones are activated. If he opens them then we will have an additional 15% restocking fee to return the phones. All in all, a horrible sales experience, and we walked out of the store in a worse situation than we walked in with two original phones that we now have to call in to verizon customer service to activate again. I picked up an unrecognized number and was surprised to hear it was 4G Wireless calling me to see how I was enjoying my new phone (purchased exactly 1 month ago) and whether I had any questions so far. Upgraded my phone at this store. Didn't know this wasn't a corporate verizon store. The staff, Cedric, who upgraded my phone sa said that my phone case and screen protector are free. I traded in my old phone and ended paying nearly 200 dollars that day for the new phone. I went home check recipe and found that I was charged for phone case and screen protector. I called the store and spoke to Cedric. He said it was a "down payment" for the new phone. I asked to return them because they cost almost 100 dollars and the money weren't going towards the new phone. He said I can't because that is what it supposed to be. He said he waived my upgrade fee, which was not true. I was still charged. Go to a real verizon store for your phone. I never paid any phone cases when I upgraded my previous phones. read more

This location is my own bad luck. It is the most convenient to go to with the worst possible service. I'm Here now, 7:52pm, says it closes at 8... doors are locked and no team members to be found. I used to come here for help or what not prior to 2017 and stopped after they were under new ownership, that's at least what I was told by the employee who would not honor my warranty for a broken charger I bought with them even though my docs showed unlimited. This is the worst customer service experience I have had. Two weeks ago I went to the store and said I want iPhone 11 Pro, this Asian girl pull out a new phone and said I could get it today and she also told me they have a promotion about the iPad and ask if I want it. I wasn't sure by the time I told her I want to ask my family if they want it, I told them I will come back tomorrow please secure this phone for me. By the time it was no problem. The second day I went into the store decided I didn't want the iPad so just simply upgraded the phone. ALL OF THE SUDDEN the iPhone I have them to secure yesterday became a package deal that I HAVE to upgrade the iPhone with $150 more for phone case, screen protector and charger. The lady (Hispanic) told me "oh this is the phone for people who is getting package, if you are not getting the package deal we have to order the iPhone for you and it will take 2 weeks" I was very upset so you are telling me I could have got my phone yesterday but all of the sudden this phone is for package deal only? But I didn't want to argue with her, I said ok order the phone. 2 weeks later I went into the store to pick up my phone. The Hispanic lady went to the back to get my phone for 5 mins, walk out with empty hand and told me it will take 5 more mins. I was very confused if the phone is ready, why does it take 10 mins to get the phone out? 5 mins passed she went into the back again and come out saying "ugh! I'm so stupid it's my fault I forgot the code for the locker so I got locked out again, you will have to wait 10 more mins" at this point I was very upset already. How unprofessional is that? You forget your code for locker 2 times and waste me for 20 mins?! I decided to go to sprouts right by to get a water. 10 mins later I got back she was helping other customer, after 30 mins of waiting she finally saw me and said "oh I'll start with your upgrade" which she should have helped me right away after I walked in. Here is the worst part- she told me to clear out my old phone for trade in, I did what she told me. And then she pull out the new phone opened it and started to setting it up which she does NOT know what she is doing. She said "oh you need a code for your number but oh no! We clear out your phone" in my mind I was like great! I shouldn't have listened to you until the new phone is all good. This lady doesn't know what she is doing and doesn't know how to set up a phone she messed up my setting and took me 2 hours total in the store. My suggestion if you come into the store you never go to the Hispanic big eye lady, she is the worst. I end up leaving the store without my phone setting up because she doesn't even know how to do it. Waste of my time. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this store. This is only an authorized Verizon dealer and not a corporate Version store. I went in two months ago to buy a new prepaid plan with Verizon and to keep my own number. The entire experience has been a nightmare. The employees there have no idea what they are doing and don't care either. The guy who setup my phone took almost two hours. Why? Because constantly, he was texting with friends on his phone. Three times, he incorrectly input my phone and credit card information and had to start all over again. Sitting there for almost two hours, finally I was told it was done. He said he had to charge me for the replacement SIM card and also a setup fee... for the lousy work that he performed on top of wasting two hours of my time. He was unorganized, unknowledgeable and surely unprofessional. I paid him and when I checked with Verizon later, the SIM card and setup service should and could have been free of charge at a Verizon store. Anyway, the guy told me the phone should work in an hour or less. I went home and waited for an hour. Darn it! My phone still did not work. So I called Verizon technical service and was told that the phone was not properly set up. I was advised to go back to the store and have they fixed the setting. I went back at around 5p. The guy who set up my phone saw me but ignored me because he probably knew that I had an issue with his work. Rather than approaching me and offered me assistance, he chose to walk away and helped a new customer instead. To show you how much the employees who work there really don't care. There was also another employee sitting by his desk playing with his phone. Knowing that I need assistance, he did not offer me assistance. He continued playing with his phone and left me standing like a fool for 15 minutes. I finally walked up and asked if he mind helping me out. Eventually after half hour he fixed my phone. Well, I thought the nightmare was over. Not even! A month later, when it is time to renew my monthly prepaid plan, despite the fact that I already have purchased prepaid credit deposited into my account and that the plan fee was already taken out to make the monthly payment due. Still, my credit card on file with auto-pay setup at the store was charged for the same amount as well. I thought how could Verizon double charge me? So I called Verizon. But Verizon informed me they never charged me or ever received such payment. I was told the charge was not made through Verizon auto-pay online, but rather, by someone doing it manually at the Victra store where I purchased the prepaid plan. Since in actuality Verizon did not receive the credit card payment auto pay online in the first place, they could not refund me the overcharged amount back to my credit card posted as auto pay. Anyway, to avoid future problems, I updated my online auto payment setup using a new credit card. Yet today, time for another prepaid monthly payment, someone in the same Victra store in Alhambra manually charged me using my old credit card again! How could that be legit? That credit card being manually charged today was the one I deleted on my account already weeks ago. Most importantly, Verizon confirmed that they did not receive such payment. So someone at the store, knowingly the credit card is deleted, still dare to act and charge my credit card! This is absolutely wrong, unacceptable and fraudulent! So where did the payment go? Did someone pocket it? Who has the money now? Who knows? This is suspicious and alarming. In short, based on my experience, someone who works at this store, is not honest. I personally believe that my money has been swindled from my credit card. This is shady! Avoid this store by all means! Learn from my lesson. You buy. You lose. You regret! read more

I went to a store in Alhambra, at 100 Main Street, to upgrade my phone. Peblo helped me, and he was such a lier. He offered me a promotion they have an iPad, with $200 reduced price, so I took it. I went home to signing up to my Verizon account. I was surprised when I saw the bill. He said my bill would be around $140 ish a month, but it's not. It is $296 with some change. I saw on the Bill that he charged everything he didn't tell me. My iPad still in full price, he deducted $200 from the iPad monthly plan which he didn't explain it to me. He said my phone's plan would be $80 a month, but he charged me $90 a month. He didn't ask me if I want an insurance, he just put it in to my Bill. The bottom line, PLEASE be careful deal with Verizon, seems like they helping you, but actually they RIPPED YOU OFF! This experience made me think to use another provider which won't lied to their loyal customers. read more

My one complaint before I move on. This is not a Verizon Store. It's an authorize dealer. The sales rep never mention it even if you give them an opportunity to because I believe they are, like many businesses depending in that connection to the actual store. Anyhow what's important is that they got what I needed some and for a good deal. And that's exactly what Nick, a sales person here did. They aren't exactly professionals as in serious suit and ties but they're genuine. The sales staff come off to me as a bunch of cool college kids but they don't seem rude. Update to my review from August 2017... They informed me that my glass screen saver had a lifetime warranty. So 5 months later I came into the store because my glass shattered. They informed me that they had A CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP, and could not authorize my replacement unless I had the original packaging. I was never asked to keep the original packaging. If so I would have. I have many original packaging from other devices I have purchased in the past. So I asked them if I could have a new package and they send my broken one back in the new packaging. Working in retail before, I know this is possible, but they said no because they don't want to be responsible for what the other owner sold us?!?! Hummm... what? If you want to get the best Verizon experience, do not go to a retailer. Go to the corporate Verizon offices. And DO NOT work with Michelle at this location. She is a hoax and full of greed. My family and I are ATT customers who were trying to switch to Verizon. Firstly the lady working there, her name is Michelle, tried to hoax my family into the plan by undergoing a series of number changes and ports so that she could get credit and bonuses for herself. Thankfully, I was dealing with the corporate offices of Verizon in Santa Monica when this happened. My parents are in Alhambra and I live in Santa Monica. So naturally I went to the Santa Monica one to get my SIM card and switch services. When they talked to Michelle, she did not want to collaborate. Instead, she greedily wanted to take all the credit for opening up a new family plan, instead of collaborating with the Santa Monica offices, where I was located in. Verizon Corporation shouldn't let people like this run business, my family and I spent a total of 18 hours in 2-3 days trying to get Verizon. But Michelle wouldn't budge because she was so greedy and sketchy. While the Santa Monica offices were trying to collaborate so I can also get my phone running, she refused to cooperate. The associate at Santa Monica talked to his boss and we all called the Alhambra retailer. First, Michelle refused to talk to the Santa Monica Office, and when we asked to speak to the supervisor, the supervisor hung up! How sketchy is that? Switching to another service takes work, but Verizon shouldn't let this become such an unpleasant experience for their customers by having greedy associates working for their own commission and refusing to collaborate with Verizon Corporate. This is unacceptable by all means in customer service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE going to this retailer. I am very disappointed with the customer service and products sold here. We added an additional line and received a promotion in which we purchase accessories and would get reimbursed-not a bad deal. They brought out the sun, moon, and stars. We decided to purchase two accessories that were $30 dollars each and we bought a $60 screen protector. After a month the two accessories malfunctioned and they never mentioned that we had to keep the box to return or exchange them and since we thought they were quality products we did not pay attention to the information that was on the receipt. The two young ladies that "helped" us gave us a hard time and bad attitude about the exchange. One of them asked us to demonstrate how we put the products on the dash board like we didn't know how to use the accessories and told us we technically didn't pay for these items. I told her we paid the money upfront and we pay monthly for this service. (my point was nothing is free) She replies with, "but your monthly service works right?". They exchanged one of the products and we had to keep the other malfunctioned one. Overall very disappointed with their rudeness and lack of understanding.
