Vessel Kitchen has perhaps been the find of the summer for me. The food is fresh, healthy and packed full of flavor -- and it's quick! One of my favorite things that I have ordered here were the brussel sprouts, which are sadly out of season. The yellowfin tuna is excellent as well. The pita strips are to DIE FOR! Get them, immediately -- I liked them and I don't even really enjoy bread that much. Everything here is really fresh and the concept is a quick-serve restaurant. You place your order at the counter and they load up your plate with the food you want. A really nice, welcome addition to the Park City/Salt Lake food scene. My word this place was so good, so healthy and so many options. I got to go with friends and family so we got to try a lot of different things! I really enjoyed everything I tried and let's just say it was almost every side item they offered and I split my meal to try another meal. I wanted to try it all! I was super impressed at how cheap the kids meal was!! Cheaper then McDonald's and with no side of guilt. Both of my girls really enjoyed the food too. There was one thing I really didn't care for and it was the chicken. I tried it in 3 different kinds of meals and it wasn't that great. I wish I would have walked through the line to see the whole production of everything and all the other healthy options before just to see all the yummy food options before I ordered my food. Soooo tasty and also has healthy choices! I love that pretty much anyone could find food they like here- plenty of meat, veggie, and non-dairy options. I got the poke tuna, Brussels sprouts, and sweet potato hash, and all were excellent. Whatever they season the sprouts with is magic, and I could eat the tuna every day. Now that I've been going to Vessel about 3 times a week on average these past few weeks, I can confirm we're a little obsessed. In full transparency, I wasn't sure about Vessel the first two times I went. I think I got strange combinations, and I wasn't totally sold. However, after some trial and error, I've figured out what my favorite things are, and I crave Vessel constantly. The food is great quality and the prices are very fair. We've only had one issue with our order not being 100% right (we place pickup pretty much every time), but outside of that, it's always spot on. I love the shredded chicken, mashed potatoes, thai carrots, pickled onions, cashew caesar broccoli (fave side), and the butternut squash. My family stopped here while visiting Park City for the weekend. We enjoyed the light and energizing lunch. Ingredients are fresh and the portions are not excessive. Inside the ambience has good energy but the noise is too much. Dishes clacking and conversations bounce off the modern interior. The shady seating outside is perfect with a cool breeze. Service is incredibly fast. We ordered, paid, and the server delivered our food to our table in less than 4 minutes. I was really surprised and impressed with the garden-fresh peas in the salad. Not the friendliest staff unfortunately. I watched another customer ahead of me ask the cashier if they pretty much served only salads and that cashier looks behind him and responds rudely with a smirk. Then, when I got to the cashier, I waited for him to greet us since it looked like he was chewing. Everyone needs to eat and that's ok., so we waited patiently. However, he looks up at us and says "oh I thought you guys were still deciding." Hmmmm... I would say their customer service is lacking. However, the food is great! It's healthy and tasty! So impressed with this place for so many reasons! It is kind of like a healthy, fresh, fun, Mediterranean cafe kind of a thing. You don't find places like this just anywhere. I saw this written in the restaurant, and think that it really embodies what Vessel is all about: "We believe in a dining experience that leaves you feeling better on the way out the door than you did on the way in." I can testify that this really is the case! The way that it is set up is you can pick up a menu and decide what you want, and then walk through the line and order. I went with the protein bowl because that meant I got to try a few different things. With the protein bowl, you can pick a meat/protein, and then two sides to go along with it. I picked the meatballs, the crispy yukon potatoes, and the orzo & lentil medley. Each and every thing was so different and fresh and fun and unique. I also tried the sweet potato hash and charred green beans and was impressed with those as well. Something else that really stood out to me was the service. We were those annoying people that came 30 minutes before they were supposed to close, but everyone was still so friendly and helpful. Because literally everything on the menu looked so good, I asked a lot of questions to find just exactly what I wanted. They were so kind about it and helped me to find something I would love. Nice fast healthy option in Park City. Pretty interesting menu that has a lot of cool flavors and textures. Multiple protein options to choose from in either a set menu item or a choice of custom dishes. Order as you walk in and wait with your number for food. Pretty straightforward and quite fast for the quality of food they provide. Had the mac & cheese and the charred corn esquites. The corn is delicious. Really enjoyed the flavors. Vessel Kitchen is hands down my favorite restaurant in Salt Lake City! I've been here three times in the last week or so and have left always completely satisfied. It is healthy and fast, making for the perfect lunch! Vessel does get a lunch rush, so I'd suggest visiting before 12:30 or after 1. The line does move pretty fast however, so it isn't too bad if you hit the rush. When I first visited, I was overwhelmed with all of the options. There were just so many combinations and variety that I needed to take a minute to review the menu. The person who took my order was really helpful in suggesting a dressing and toppings that would go well with what I already had. My go to order is the kale salad with the roasted chicken breast, pickled onions, cashew caesar broccoli, and roasted beets and the cashew caesar dressing. The roasted broccoli also has the caesar dressing on it, which gives it a great flavor! I always get the chicken breast as my protein but I have tried the burrata from a friend's salad and loved how fresh it was. I love the fact that the salad comes undressed so I can control the amount of dressing on it, but it can be a bit cumbersome to mix it in when the bowls are so packed. Vessel is also super accommodating for people with various dietary restrictions. On the menu there are symbols indicating which dishes have eggs, dairy, nuts, tree nuts, or soy gluten. And which ones are vegan, vegetarian, or Whole30. They also have two all-gender restrooms! read more

So trendy and so cute! I was drawn to Vessel because it seemed like a good place to get a decent salad, I didn't expect it to be so good! I got the Mean Jean salad with shredded chicken and it really hit the spot after a week of essentially French toast and beer. The ingredients were so fresh and healthy and for reasonable prices ($13-15). My boyfriend built his own dinner plate with 1 entree (shredded chicken was his choice) and a choice of 2 sides (he opted for sweet potato hash and Mac & cheese).
