I got the Mean Jean salad with shredded chicken and it really hit the spot after a week of essentially French toast and beer. The ingredients were so fresh and healthy and for reasonable prices ($13-15). My boyfriend built his own dinner plate with 1 entree (shredded chicken was his choice) and a choice of 2 sides (he opted for sweet potato hash and Mac & cheese). This is a great find in Park City. Casual and fast but still high quality food. I ordered the chicken baguette sandwich. It came with pickled onions which were delicious, but the star of the sandwich was the dressing. It had a great heat to it. My wife got the sweet potato hash with the braised beef. The star of her dish was also the dressing. Some kind of horseradish wonder. My favorite part of the evening was the older Park City woman in line next to us. Dressed head to toe in bright red with a bright red hair dye job to match. She LOVES the place and talked our ears off about it. Told us we needed to get the beet salad because they are "insane." This delightful restaurant is simply great. It is not The French Laundry serving deconstructed mashed potatoes and gastro-mushroom vapor, but the food is first rate and the staff is nice and attentive and helpful when explaining the options. Served cafeteria style, the food is creative, healthy and well priced. They have communal tables, so if your don't like people, get your vittles to go, but we like sitting with new folks. Even tourists, who can occasionally be a pain in the patootie, but the food is a great common denominator. We usually get some kind of falafel thing, and a couple of their Flatbread tacos plus a salad. Options change regularly so there is always something new to try. I used to get verklempt at the front of the line cuz the ordering process can be kind of intimidating. Kind of like a "meat and three" Cafe in the south, so now I just walk down the line and point and the great staff walks me through the options. Yay. One thing that is really great is that the place is really clean. Kudos to whomever is in charge of the bathrooms. It doesn't look like a truckers convention was recently in the bathroom and the tables and serving areas are well attended to. Methinks this is just about the best fast food joint in PC and we come here often. Plenty of choices for the vegan crowd too, so rock on. Stopped by here before heading to Jordanelle for a lake day. I wanted something somewhat healthy and too intense. This place seemed like a good place so decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! It was delicious! I asked the cashier for a recommendation or the most popular. She said the hash hash was the popular one so I went with it. Everything about it was great! Nothing to complain about. They are covid prepared, masks and social distance marks, outside setting, they even cleaned the pens after each use when signing for credit card. Has hash has become a go to for my first visit but my friends got the shrimp bowl and poke and loved tgem. They have a knacking for knowing how to mix flavors and provide interesting presentations. The quality has noticeably gone down since they opened. I used to love coming to Park City and having lunch at Vessel. This last trip was really disappointing. The shredded chicken was really bland. The macaroni and cheese was dry and like warm. And the caprese salad was bland and mushy tomatoes. Not sure what is happening here. The highlight is still their loads of bread. They've taken the Chipotle concept and improved on it ... with fresh, wonderful combinations. Menus are at the front of the line so that by the time you get to the woman who takes your order, you know what you want. You then move down the line where you can actually see all these great looking dishes and your food is ready almost by the time you get to the end of the line, where are you order your drink and pay for everything. I ordered the Israeli couscous with the yellowfin tuna, and the rest of my family ordered some variation of the chicken, which they really enjoyed. Mine was out of this world, and the hummus and pita chips were unbelievably tasty. The beets as a side dish that sounded so delicious that I ordered them for myself and they lived up to the description. My 14 and 16 year old teenage boys gobbled down everything, including my Israeli couscous and some of the beets. Boy do I wish we had Vessel Kitchen in our hometown! read more

Last time I went in the gentlemen checking me out said "wow, you eat here a lot". That was understated. There was a while that I was Doordashing, stopping by on my way home or ordering two meals (one for the next day) of the same thing. I always get the chicken breast plate, quinoa and avocado, sometimes I'll mix it up with the broccoli and then the secret ingredient- the feta horseradish sauce. Frequently I'll buy extra to take home because that stuff is amazing! The only reason they get four stars instead of 5... because several times when I've Doordash-ed it, tragedy has struck and they've forgotten the sauce. That's incredibly disturbing and disappointing as it's what makes a pretty good chicken breast something incredible. So stop that. read more

Stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday and a decent lunch crowd but seats still available. A deli style health food options. We were pleased with the large amount of options. All items were picked for their healthy selections and freshness. We loved the poke tuna- very fresh, light, ginger marinade gave it a great taste. The braised beef tacos was well marinated and juicy. I also recommend the chick pea stew and sweet potato hash, good choice for sides. I don't know how to write this review without coming off sounding like a dick, but this is not my intention and I trust this preamble will suffice. This place really wants to be something special and it plugs into a lot of new, hot and trendy stuff in both PC and Salt Lake, with very eclectic offerings, sort of a vaguely hipster take on "healthy" eating. This also seems to be aimed at the "farm to table" trend and the entire idea of scooping various heaps of binned pre-made food, ala Chipotle, Pizza Studio, Zao, etc., that so-called "fast casual" style. There is also a shit-ton of communal seating, which, by itself, is sufficient to kill my interest in this place, though I will say it also seemed fairly clean, aside from the bottlenecking from the ill-placed fountain and with all the windows, cannot help but be bright. Much of what is here is overpriced, know that going in, but you're not going so much to eat, I suppose, but more to be seen at a hot and trendy place, where you can fight for parking up to a quarter of a mile away. Parking is not their fault, but the question does become whether or not it was worthwhile, particularly when you find yourself paying $1 for a tiny piece of rice crispy treat and an absurd $4 for fountain drinks. I don't usually grouse about that much, but the value to cost proposition is wanting here. Combine that with them having a lot of stray debris well outside of what is listed on the various dishes and it becomes near-agonizing, particularly if you have food ingredient issues. I will say the shredded chicken was acceptable and they did have some other dishes that were interesting, though much less interesting for being served cold. read more
