I had a wonderful experience! I did the platinum and I added dandruff brushing. I read some reviews prior to coming so I came prepared! Definitely wear comfy clothes and comfy socks. I came in my satin pajama shirt to give an extra touch I didn't mind the splashing of water onto my face, it's just water and my skin is never against receiving any kind of hydration lol! My hair feels fabulous and clean! I have clinically dry scap so I enjoyed the exfoliation and didn't mind any of what some may considered to be "rough" scratching. I opted out of the blow dry bc I have A LOT of hair and it's corse and curly so I just brought my own serum to put on once I got in my car! Overall, great experience! The scalp treatment is 5 stars. It was super relaxing and thorough. Our treatments started late, but we were given our entire hour long treatment. They don't skimp on your time. I wanted to knock a star off because some other patron was talking LOUDLY on her cell phone for the first several minutes of my treatment. She had the person she was talking to on speaker phone. I almost yelled at her to be quiet, but luckily she left the premises. This went on for a minimum of 5 minutes, and she wasn't asked (to my awareness) to be quiet by the staff. They should have a no cell phone policy. It isn't private enough. There are curtains separating patrons, but the sound completely carries. That was the only thing making me want to knock it down to 4 stars. It would be nice to offer ear plugs. That way it's more relaxing and water won't get in our ears. The head spa is something that you never knew you needed. Although it sounds frivolous, it is a much need self-care service similar to getting your nail done or a massage. I opted for the 60 minutes headspa service. The first thing they do is give you a silky robe to wear for the service. The service room is a small room with a wash sink and an automatic leaning chair. The technician will use a microscope on your hair to see the current condition. It then proceeded with a head and shoulder massage, washing my hair multiple times and conditioning it. In the end, my technician helped me brush my hair as well. To blow out your hair, it is an extra fee. It was very relaxing, to the point where I fell asleep for a bit. By the time I left, I felt like a new woman. If possible, I would recommend slipping this into your self-care routine when possible. read more

I took my parents here today and they loved it! They clean your scalp and hair with massage for a whole hour. They also give you a facial massage with mask. A good scalp massage is such a treat. I always get it if available as an option at a massage place. So I was very excited to find a place that specialized in the head massage. The place is small but the set up is very comfortable. Think the hair wash station at the salon but very cushy. My package came with oil massage, then shampoo/conditioner, cucumber face mask, and a shoulder/neck massage. A little of the nail scratching I could do with less of, but overall the massage as wonderful. There's a little room in the back with blow dryers and mirror to do your make up if you're headed somewhere afterwards. I liked it so much I bought a 5 pack to come back again soon. I came from out of town and wanted to feel relaxed with a head spa and massage before going to a 2 day conference. I thought this place would help me get there but unfortunately it did not. I was quite shocked that they were able to accommodate me when I called to make a same day appointment as their website said they were booked 2 weeks out. When I arrived to the spa, there are no parking spots nearby so I had to park near a smoke shop per their recommendation. Upon coming in I was greeted then got placed on the seat. I was not really given any direction to where to place my things or how I should sit on the chair. The person who did my massage was nice but when it came to her doing her job, it was not so nice. Her massage was firm but it got to the point where it didn't feel relaxing. She was too firm on the face and seemed to rush through the whole massages to get it over it with. Sometimes her nails would accidentally scratch my face. I didn't feel relaxed one bit and did not fall asleep because it felt rushed and a chore rather than trying to make me feel relaxed. After she was done she blew dry my hair quickly and it was left still a little wet and my hair looking frizzy and unkept. I came out of the place looking worst then how I came in. Compared to other headspas in the area this place is not worth prices they charge. It's a very basic spa. If you are looking for something more upscale at the same price check out the others near by. Also not all employees here know what they are doing. The girl I got had no idea how to do a blow out. Only when I asked for her to stop, then I had to wait for another employee to come by and actually do the blow it out. Also the whole process is just ok. From the way they wash your face to how roughly they massage your head, I think it's too expensive for the experience you get. Unbelievable. Scheduled an appointment online via their booking system for 4:30 P.M. for my wife and I. We get there and find out they only have one appointment in their system which is for my wife. One of the technicians advised that we will have to wait until 5 P.M in order to be taken in. We then opted to wait and it was only until 5:20 when they took in my wife and literally forgot about MY appointment. There is literally no one at the front desk to even check up on me or even answer my questions. Ultimately, only my wife got the massage and I was left in the waiting room to fend for myself. My goal (and I'm assuming most people who go here), is to have a relaxing, calm, quiet (soothing music in the background) type experience. I had an appointment at 12, came in 15 mins early in case there was a wait/check in paperwork (there was none). As a person who has had medical procedures done on the scalp, I would hope that the staff is aware of them. However, no one asked for allergies or a medical history. Oh well. So the entire salon is an a incredibly small place, and I will have to say it is designed possibly as well as can be. Essentially, there are two halves to the room/space. The first half has 3 blow dry stations (by the way, blow dry's aren't included in the price, which is another thing, you're paying for a $95 service and they're nickel and diming you another $20 for a blow dry, your other option is to blow dry yourself in the back room)., and the check in/out counter. I was started immediately after I came in, and although, to their credit, calming music was being played, all I heard was 2 blow driers going from the previous clients that we're being finished up. Then while they paid/made a bunch of noise. (Not their fault but if you're only separated by a curtain, it is to be expected). In that case, I'd like the option to wait until my assigned time if I had to deal with that. After that it was fairly quiet. For my blow dry, she didn't ask what type of hair I had or even pay attention. As someone who has wavy hair, I'd like to have the option of a diffuser (which I am not sure they even had). I wouldn't come here if you have anything past 3A hair. I wouldn't be surprised because it seems like all the positive reviews below are from people that have pin straight hair. The facial massage itself was nice and the lady was very pleasant. The icing on the cake was a guy outside yelling "fuck you" and it being easily audible inside. Or maybe it was the 4% credit card charge that was tacked on at the end without a CLEAR note on their website or an atm handy. Or maybe it was the hidden parking lot. I can't decide. I wish we could rate half stars because I would probably give this place 3.5 but I will round it up to 4 for the sake of this review. So I went for the first time probably 3 weeks ago and it was awful. Unfortunately I got someone who was still training and very inexperienced who did just about everything wrong from washing, massaging, down to hovering over me at check out which is awkward when you're tipping. Management from the spa messaged me to apologize and acknowledged the person who I had was really not ready for the job so they offered a second opportunity for me to try out their services again. I believe I got the platinum without blow dry services each time. My second time there was a day and night difference. This time the water temperature was properly controlled, the massage was decent, and the hair wash felt more like a deep cleansing than it was my first time. The reason for my star deduction is for price. Solely my personal opinion but I think it's overpriced for the services offered. Again, it's not like a true head spa where they analyze your follicles and tailor the product/services to your needs. Its more like a glorified Dry Bar for a lack of a better comparison. It's an additional $20 just to blow dry your hair and that is literally a blow dryer to your head, no styling and that gets me. I feel like a straight blow dry with a brush should be part of the services. The bundles probably make the services more worth while but I don't live close enough and more importantly didn't see the value in it to have myself make the drive regularly. The arm neck shoulder massage was basically putting lotion on your arms and rubbing your neck and shoulders a few times. I think my hairdresser does a better job! First of all, if you're Latina with thick hair, go somewhere else. Their blowdry styling (which is an additional $15 for 15 minutes) was very bad. They just ran a brush through our hair and left it completely frizzy. Then the lady told me I was "done" after only 10 minutes of blow drying when it specifically says 15 minutes for blow dry (yes, I timed it). I didn't complain at all. While my group was waiting on our last person to finish up, we kept getting looked at by one employee specifically, she kept watching us. As we were leaving, she stops us at the door and accuses us of not having paid (HELLO APPOINTMENT BOOKED AND PAID ONLINE, WHICH THEY SHOULD KNOW) - and then flat out says "I'm sorry, I am confused, are you not going to tip me?" Tipping is OPTIONAL, based on the quality of the service which was bad. The "headspa treatment" was just a hair wash with abrasive rubbing technique and horrible blow dry job. We also asked, "isn't tipping optional" and she walked away very upset and muttering something. I understand how tipping works and NO, everyone is not entitled to one. Tipping is based on service and satisfaction, not just because I'm sitting in your chair. Very rude. Will not be coming back after the treatment. read more

The woman that I got really just scratched my head and barely massaged my face. Although I paid for 90 minutes, the woman that I had was gone for half of the time. She just kept getting up and coming back. It was so distracting and not relaxing at all. The "spa" is really just a big room with curtains separating the chairs. But, they don't even separate each chair. For some reason, they grouped the "rooms" in chairs of two. Therefore, you can imagine how disappointed I was to see the woman next to me having a far superior experience compared to myself. Although I arrived after her, somehow I finished before her. I have been looking for one of these scalp massaging places and was so happy to find one fairly close. I booked a basic 30 min session with my husband just to try it out. They lean you back, put a blanket on you, wash your hair, then put on this tingle stuff (good tingle) and just scratch and scratch with a little massage here and there. For a while that is all they did and I started feeling like this experience was going to be a let down because I thought they already incorporated the "massage". But once they finish washing your hair, they turn your chair then get to the massage part and it was glorious! We skipped the blow dry bc my hair dries straight anyway (it's literally just them using a blow dryer to dry your hair, no styling or blow out). They also put some cheap detangler spray in your hair before you go on your way (this part can def be improved). We loved the experience and my hair felt super soft afterwards. Great value too. Just know that even if you don't opt for the facial part, they do put some oil on your face, neck, shoulders, and part way down your back. They wipe it down with a damp towel afterwards. Because of this I definitely recommend wearing a tank top or very loose shirt and bringing some make up to touch up afterwards if you need it. read more

So I get to the blow dry station and I noticed she's tugging on my hair. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS ATTACHED. She managed to wash my hair into a giant knot and dread somehow. That's NEVER happened to me. Ever. Never ever. I have my hair washed by my stylist, I've been to Korean spas frequently where your hair is washed and never ever has this happened. The dread is so bad my usual stylist couldn't brush it out and now I have to cut my hair almost an inch short where it knotted. I SHOULD sue this place. How does someone create a dread just by washing hair?! When I asked how this happened I couldn't really get an answer because there was a language gap. Then they tried brushing it out which was pulling my hair out the way they were brushing it, it was the weirdest experience, I hadn't ever even seen anyone brush hair the way they were. I felt like some sort of messed up joke was being done to me or I was in some sort of Twilight zone episode. crying I said I just wanted to go home and use my expensive conditioners to try and untangle it myself (because clearly they had no idea what to do) and the girl had the audacity to ask me to PAY. I'm in absolute shock right now that this just happened to me. UPDATE: after an hour of brushing, (see photo) we got it down to this size knot that had to be cut out. I go to Korean spas all over the country (I travel for work) and I have my hair washed every time, NEVER has anything even remotely close to this happened to me before. I'm in awe at how she managed to tangle my hair this bad. I don't know if it was how she washed my hair or the products she used that caused this or both. But I am devastated. I kept hair extensions out of my hair all summer so I could grow my hair, which It did! I was finally ready to get extensions put in and Now it's shorter than when I began. I just can not believe this. Note: To make it worse, as I said. I kept hair extensions out of my hair all summer and tomorrow I was going to get my color redone and extensions put back on because I had felt I had finally grown it out long enough, so the day before I decided to treat myself doe the first time to a good scalp washing and now I am left with 1 inch length hair on one side of my head. We opted out of a blow dry and still got charged for it which is fine cause now reading the reviews, it seems they suck anyway! SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! One of my close friends bought a bundle from this salon and asked if I wanted to go with her (she gave me one of her services from her bundle). We both got the Platinum services. We were running 15 minutes late so we called and asked if they would still see us and they agreed (thank you!). When we arrived, we informed the techs that they didn't need to blow dry our hair since we were late (it was included with the service), which they thanked us for. It was the least we could do since we were late. It was my first time and my friend's second time, so the tech explained what she was doing to me. She helped me into my chair and gave me a basket to put my purse, eyeglasses and cell phone into. She then covered me with a blanket and began massaging my head. She also washed my hair, did a hair mask, steamed my hair, gave me a facial (along with the face roller and face massage), washed my hair again, and massaged my neck, shoulders, arms and upper back. After the techs were done, they escorted my friend and I to the salon chairs to blow dry our hair. Although we told them they didn't have to blow dry our hair, they did it anyway. I think because their next appts had not arrived yet. The techs were very kind and helpful. There was ample parking in the back of the salon and the environment was very relaxing.
