Very nice restaurant. All of the staff were super nice and friendly offering suggestions. The food was really good and I would go back to try other meals. There is also an upstairs lounge that has music and view of that area of the city.

Via Triozzi was an absolute win for our anniversary date night. From the second we walked in, Malachie set the tone. She was a hoot -- cracking jokes, calling us out for not having a reservation with a playful "tisk tisk someone's on the naughty list," which had us laughing right away. She even told us to call our waiter "patty cakes" because it was his nickname. He definitely wasn't ready for that one, but he rolled with it like a champ. I even told him they promised me a hat since it was my first time, and he actually went to ask Malachie about it. That type of fun is rare these days. This is exactly why supporting local spots matters. Patrick, our waiter, was knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely helpful. His recommendations were spot on. We chatted with a few tables around us and everyone was loving their meals. My partner had been here before and talked with the owner, which made it an easy decision to return -- and now I see why. The restaurant is classy and elegant, with thoughtful touches like family photos lining the hallway. They've even got a rooftop bar that opens when the weather is right. The whole place feels intentionally crafted with warmth and character. Now the food -- absolutely outstanding. True authentic Italian flavors you can't fully describe unless you've tasted them yourself. We had the meatballs, lasagna, and ravioli, and every dish was fantastic. Rich, comforting, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care. Via Triozzi delivered the experience, the service, and the food. A memorable night and a spot we'll keep coming back to.

Via Triozzi in Lower Greenville was a really lovely experience overall. The ambiance is warm, welcoming, and fairly intimate, making it a great spot for a relaxed dinner and conversation. A quick note on arrival: the valet was absolutely hustling on a Sunday evening and working his ass off. Valet is free, but please bring tip money if you can -- or you can tip through the app while waiting for your car. He deserves it. I highly recommend making a reservation. The space isn't huge, and there weren't many open tables during dinner time, especially for our party of four. We ordered a spread of appetizers and absolutely loved the arancini balls. The entrées were generous and very filling. The lasagna was massive and incredibly rich, and most of us ended up taking food home. I had the Lumache al Sugo Bianco, which was surprisingly fresh and light compared to most Italian dishes. The sauce is made with chicken broth and leans much lighter, which was perfect after filling up on appetizers. The only real disappointment was learning they don't have ice cream, so no affogato. That said, the pudding-style dessert was excellent, especially with the little shot of espresso on the side. Overall, a great meal in a cozy setting and one I'd happily return to.

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had! I actually heard about this while watching food network. The chef was on one of the shows competing in Italian food and when they introduced her they said her restaurant was in Dallas, so I quickly wrote it down and excitedly told my friend about how we had to try it. Well, it took a few months to find time to grab reservations and drive down from north Frisco, but holy crap was it worth it! We got there a little early and had a drink up on the their rooftop patio bar before our reservation time (tasty drinks and a great wine selection)! Then when we went down for our reservation time, the hostess was so sweet and welcoming to us and my daughter. She also noticed we had dark dresses on and swapped our white napkins for black ones - next level service!! Now let's get down to the food. AMAZING! We started with the Prosciutto e Fiche which was a super tasty mix of sweet fig jam, pine nuts, a soft cheese, and salty prosciutto - so yummy. We also got the "Italian lunchable" called coccoli (that's how our waitress described it and it was a funny but true description). The little bread balls were perfect for layering the melted cheese and more prosciutto. Both of these were perfect for sharing and absolutely delicious. For our second course we got stuff to share again! The Bucatini alla Gricia was the absolute winner, with a perfectly rich cheese sauce that was lightly applied to pasta (no drowning it) and paired with crispy guanciale, omg it was so good and the table favorite. We also got Ravioli di Pere which were a little sweet but not in a bad way! The whole plate is perfectly balanced and rich and decadently delicious. To bring some fiber back into our spoiled diets for the evening we also got the sautéed rapini and I shouldn't have been surprised that they nailed this side dish as well! Of course for dessert we couldn't pass up the chance to try all 3! Hey, don't judge, it was a 45 minute drive. The tiramisu is seriously the size of a brick, prepare to share with the whole table and still possibly take some home! My favorite was the Cannolo Sbagliato which was this amazing deconstructed cannoli with candied orange and I think pieces of pistachio. I would have honestly licked the plate if it wasn't such a beautiful restaurant!! The budini al cioccolato was a fancy chocolate pudding made with dark chocolate and topped with a layer of olive oil and caramel that was a little off-putting at first but actually worked really well with all the flavors! My friend finished that one gleefully. On top of the incredible food, the service was top notch, everyone was on their game, we never had to wait for a drink refill or our plates to be cleared, it was a stellar experience from beginning to end and I cannot recommend them enough!

Everything we ate and drank here was wonderful! We started off with the whipped ricotta with pistachios and sauce that tasted so fresh. I had the chicken cacciatore -- huge and delicious. My fiance got a pasta dish. The tiramisu was the favorite!!! Also, my fruity drink was great!

The mussels are excellent.

Amazing Italian food on lower Greenville. We had a party of four, and without exception, we will all be going back. Our server was fantastic and knew the menu very well. She also offered some good suggestions for wine pairings. The appetizers and entrées came quickly, despite the restaurant being quite crowded. They had a stuffed squash blossom special and we all agreed they were likely the best we've ever had. The scallops and the lamb chops were both exceptional. The mussels and the clam linguine were great too. They also have good craft cocktails.

One word: Outstanding! My partner and I made reservations for a late dinner last night. We arrived and were greeted promptly by a very nice hostess. Less than 5 minutes later, we were sat at a two top. The restaurant itself is stunning: floral carpeted staircase, gold embellished high ceiling, dark wood accents and exposed brick was the theme. Shortly after being sat, our waiter arrived. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. We opted for still water, a whiskey sour and dirty martini to start. The drinks were well crafted and perfect. We skipped appetizers because we wanted to focus on entrees. We decided on the lasagna, linguine with clams and a side of focaccia. Everything was simply divine. The flavors were balanced. Dishes were fresh and portions were plentiful. Halfway through my meal, I ordered a glass of pecorino which was the perfect nightcap. To go, we couldn't leave dessert behind so we ordered tiramisu; delish! Needless to say, another favorite added to my list!

Sat at the bar with my girlfriend, and we caught up. The ambience was very quiet and chill and just what we're looking for a a girls night. We had a couple of drinks that were made to perfection. We shared a couple of dishes here that were very delectable. I am surprised that I haven't been here sooner and plan on coming back.

Via Triozzi is a newer Italian restaurant in the Lowest Greenville neighborhood in East Dallas. It's a fabulous addition to the hood offering elevated authentic Italian fare and cocktails. When I say authentic, I mean the chef and owner, Leigh Hutchinson, moved to Florence Italy and studied under chefs all over Florence. The name comes from a quaint street in Scandicci, a town on the outskirts of Florence. My wife and I spoke with her about the journey of opening this beautiful space. She grew up around her family owning restaurants and wanted to follow suit. Her passion is Italian fare which led to capturing a flavor of authenticity that doesn't exist in Dallas. The space is designed beautifully. The design and feel reminds me of the St Regis hotel in Florence which is a special memory for me and my family. The bar is captivating and gives off a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's a space you would go to just for the bar experience. They offer a nice variety of signature cocktails but will make any classic you prefer. I've had one of their delicious signatures and it never disappoints (photo #2). "Signora Farfalla" is a tasty gin recipe with a nice balance of citrus and complex liqueurs (see ingredients below). The flavor is as fun as the color and presentation. I'll definitely try to recreate this one at home. If you're looking for a great date night in a beautiful space with great food and cocktails go check out chef/owner Leigh Hutchinson at Via Triozzi. Cute place and nice vibe. The tables are close together so if you want something more intimate I recommend an early reservation (530-6). The service was great and the food was good. Not my favorite pasta and not a spot I feel I need to come back to but recommend for anyone wanting to try something new.

We went to Via on Monday night for my DIL's birthday! What a wonderful meal! We tried several pasta dishes, the saltimbocca, a couple of apps, salad, and two desserts! Everything was wonderful! Plus Monday had some 1/2 price wine options! Our server Patrick was super attentive and helpful! We will definitely be back to this darling Italian gem!

This restaurant was so amazing!! 10/10 for sure! Leigh was our server and she did a fantastic job! She gave so many great recommendations and all were amazing! We got a few appetizers and pastas and finished dinner with the tiramisu cake and everything was perfect! I will definitely be coming back!

Do they have valet parking? If not, lower Greenville parking can be difficult, where is best place to park?

It’s definitely complimentary valet parking at Via Triozzi. Blue umbrella in front of the restaurant. (We were there last night. Our first time - one of the best Italian meals we’ve ever had. 5 star service. Reasonable pricing. Authentic recipes.…

If one of our group is gluten sensitive, what kind of options are there on the menu?

There are a number of options that seem to be gluten free...the salads, the swordfish, the steak, the Romano Beans are amazing and I had them as my entree during my last visit ( yes they are that good!). I would just be sure to ask your server, they…

Are there any light calorie options?

Nothing specific. But their salads are lighter and still very tasty!

We did show up maybe 1.5ish hours before the game and the whole place was packed, but I didn't mind sticking around even in the heat because they have a very nicely shaded outdoor patio area. This is a great spot to watch any of the FIFA games-- also came back here for the Norway game yesterday and had just as good of a time like the last. They have TVs everywhere inside (both floors) and a huge TV outside as well. The restrooms are clean. They have a lot so that helps especially when it's there's a lot of people-- hate going to places with ONE bathroom. A bunch of seating too- lots of high tops upstairs/downstairs, bunch of tables outside & they have a lot of extra chairs. Service is great. Everyone always checks in to ask how everything's going and drinks/ food don't take too long to come out. I do LOVE their flatbreads. I've tried several flatbreads and they are all super tasty and not too expensive. I did appreciate that when Mexico scored during that first game, the servers brought out a bunch of shots free for everyone to celebrate! I thought that was a nice touch since other bars I have been to in the area are not as thoughtful or organized enough to host a lot of people during the World Cup! Sweet touch. Will obviously be back!
