This was my first time visiting Vicious Biscuit and all I ordered was a cup of coffee to go. The cashier took my name and said "We'll call you when it's ready". Well I was waiting with my uncle who ordered food and I realized about 10 minutes had passed. The place was pretty busy but why haven't I got my coffee yet? So I went to the counter and asked and the young handed me a cup and a lid. And I'm like seriously!! If I had to fix my own coffee why didn't I get the cup when I prefer in the first place??!! I was a little upset. So they failed in the area of customer service. Even though it may have been a small oversight it still caused me to have to wait unnecessarily. I didn't try any food so I can't comment about that. read more

FIRE This is one of the BEST places to eat in Summerville. My husband and I barely spoke once we got the food, we were enjoying ourselves too much. The staff was friendly and attentive, the manager was present, the whole experience was perfect. This is the place to eat. And if you see a line at the door, DON'T get discourage. Very nice little breakfast spot. My husband and I picked up a takeout order to eat before heading out of town. I got the vicious biscuit and he got the Silence of the Hams. It was quite a bit of food. My biscuit was everything you hoped for in a southern meal with the gravy and fried chicken. The candied jalapeños and maple flavoring was a little weird at first but I think it complimented the savory components well. My husband's was a nice classic ham, egg and cheese biscuit but elevated to a fresh level. We also each got coffee with caramel and the waitress loaded our cups with the syrup. Pretty worth it for the 50¢ up charge and it came out piping hot. We really wanted to try the Scotlyn but I'm glad we didn't order an extra thing. Maybe next time we'll split and biscuit and get to try it. read more

I like the fact that there's a line out the door; after placing our order the food came rather quickly; the Holy Cubano biscuit was full of flavor and zing; however, I would have been better served if the sandwich style biscuit had more meat; my "To Go" order came back on four plates and delayed us a bit; however, what turned me off was the small amount of shrimp in one of the most expensive biscuits! The taste was ok, I guess; nothing special; but, If you're going to charge $14 bucks you better make it right! This sandwich is not recommended, and I will never order it again unless it's dripping with extra shrimp. Overall I give this place a strong 2. Too many details to cover makes it easy for a discriminating connoisseur to dismantle any upgraded sloppy Joe. I spent over $125 bucks including tips for seven biscuits. P and even brought out two day old daughter out for her first Vicious trip. We moved to Summerville almost two years ago and was so excited to have a Vicious in Nexton. I use to always get the babe with pulled pork but decided to just on the vicious bandwagon and I haven't looked back since. Tip: do yourself a favor abs get the orange juice. It sounds dumb but it's the best orange juice ever. We always get a biscuit on the side to try out their butter bar. Strawberry butter, apple butter, honey butter, and even banana butter. This review is a culmination of 3 separate visits. I wanted to give this place a fair shake before I wrote anything. If you're asking what all the hype is about or if you should try this place then I'll tell you. The hype is fa-realzzz!!! The biscuits themselves are soft and so delicious. They almost always have a line out the door which is why it has taken me so long to try this place. My first go round I had The Vicious and I really liked it but I did not like the sausage gravy. The sausage in the gravy did not have enough flavor for me. The Jalapeño cheddar biscuit that it comes on was phenomenal! The 2nd go round I had the Rise-N-Swine Benny. The pulled pork was out of this world and that says a lot when you don't have bbq sauce on it and you live in the south with bbq galore. The hollandaise sauce was not to my liking and there was way too much on it, I scraped it off so I could enjoy the rest of the biscuit. The 3rd round was 100%, A+ all around. I have now discovered my go-to biscuit... The 'Mater'. The bacon jam just set it off. The pimento cheese is creamy and rich. I also tried The Scotlyn and oooh lawd it was so good. The fresh strawberries, whipped cream and stuffed biscuit dough with the warm cinnamon cream cheese filling was divine!!! It comes with 4 pieces so you can definitely share. I'm the inside, there is ample seating and there is also patio seating. They serve fresh squeezed orange juice and diff types of coffee. I will definitely return many, many more times! read more

Went there for the first time today. Excellent: Vicious beignet. Awesome doesn't do it justice. I may just order two of these next time instead of sharing. Very good: Biscuit, pretty freaking good, but I have had one or two better. Potatoes, appear to be frozen but very tasty none the less. Good: Egg white omelet, not the greatest but good. Needs improvement: Eggs. Ordered over medium and received over easy. I see this frequently in all kinds of breakfast places, but if I order over hard, they tend to over cook. Jam bar.
