Decent Vicky Bakery! Got their guava pastries and they were fresh and affordable and sizable! They had a large selection of empanadas that I'd return to try. Staff were friendly and service was quick.

While at school in Miami, Vicky Bakery was a cornerstone of my experience. Their cafe con leche helped me numerous times stay awake through my last class of the day, and their cheese tequeno satisfied my hunger until I was able to have an actual meal later in the day. Now I'm post-grad and working full-time, but Vicky Bakery has remained that life-line. On this particular day, I needed an afternoon pick-me up, so of course I got a hot cafe con leche with some sugar, and a cheese tequeno. It was the perfect boost I needed to finish off the day, just like it was before. If you happen to enjoy your coffee and food in the store, you have a nice selection of seating to choose from, and friendly service to help you. Never change Vicky.

Today I needed to cheer myself up from some bad news & decided to get some empanadas. Jose was so patient & kind as I decided what to order. The bakery was clean & tidy. I got both beef & spinach empanadas and a slice of cheesecake. Thank you Jose for brightening my day.

The best time to go is first thing in the morning to get fresh pastry's. I enjoy guava and cheese pastry's and the ones at vickies

Que bueno! Vicky bakery is so delicious always, probably the best franchise/chain in south Florida. All the Cuban hits all the time. When you see the window of treats... croquetas, pastelitos, empanadas...... it's a great feeling. Cafecito is a must, get your Cuban coffee! I have ordered rum cakes here that always go well at parties.

Stopped in today, nothing changed, it's actually worse than last time. I honestly have no clue why people come here. Stale, cold pastries & a joke of a chicken sandwich. Officially the worst "Cuban" bakery in s Florida by far.

10/10 Highly Recommend! I've been going to the Vicky Bakery on University for the past 4 years -- and without a doubt, it is the best Vicky location. The quality of the food, the service, and the attention to customer care here truly stand out. My job requires a lot of driving, so I often visit different Vicky Bakery locations depending on where I am. While the overall brand is great, I've found that not all locations are consistent -- except this one. If I had to choose one spot that delivers a great experience every single time, it would be the University location across from Nova. And I can't leave out the coffee! The café con leche here is the best, thanks to Lisette -- an amazing barista who always greets me with a warm smile and cheerful conversation. The coffee is a perfect start to my day every time. Highly recommend this location -- 10/10!

Main reason for my rating is because of the service. It's not bad, it's just never done with a smile. I've gone during the week, weekends, early mornings and afternoons, and it's always the same - I feel like I'm bothering whoever takes my order. So, I stopped expecting the friendly energy, and just keep going back for the coffee, food and pastries. They are your typical Cuban bakery quality; delicious and hit the spot! The jam croquettas and guava and cheese pastries are my go to. If you're good with a quick, friendly-less interaction, for some fire Cuban treats, this is your place. A little side note, I just read some of the lesser reviews and maybe you should check them out before you go to be sure this place is for you.

We come here a lot and this morning we got breakfast to go. They called my name and handed me my bag of food, but when I got home I noticed I was MISSING a part of my order. I had to drive 30 mins to pick it up, when I did arrive there was NO APOLOGY or anything at all for the mistake that was made. It wasn't even busy, and when I told them what happened and I just got blank stares and someone handed me my food. I expected better customer service and it's super DISSAPOINTING, there are lots of great Cuban bakeries around and we chose to spend our money here, but the lack of even acknowledging their mistake makes me not wanna come back. Driving and extra 30 mins on my day off is not how I wanted to start my day.

This is not a "grab it and go because you're desperate" coffee stop. This is intentional coffee. Their croissants are large, golden and big enough to share. The coffee is strong without being bitter -- balanced, smooth, and clearly made by someone who respects the bean. My chai tea latte is consistently on point: properly spiced, not syrupy sweet, and beautifully frothed. No lazy pours here. And the empanadas? Crisp exterior, generous filling, zero "gas station pastry" vibes. Yes, it's not cheap. But neither is quality. You're paying for a café that doesn't cut corners -- and honestly, I respect that. The space itself is small but intentionally cozy. Friendly staff, relaxed pace, no rushing you out the door -- which is rare and appreciated. This is where I go when I want to grab my caffeine, my flaky pastry, and coast until about 11 AM when reality hits and I consider going back. If you appreciate good coffee -- not just coffee -- this is your spot. Plantation Walk continues to deliver.

Mine came in a wine glass and the whole café has such a nice aesthetic vibe. That being said... if you're someone who likes a strong, authentic matcha flavor, this probably isn't the spot for you. The flavored matcha drinks were definitely better, but even then the matcha taste itself was pretty mild. Now the pastries? INCREDIBLE. Easily the highlight for me. If you only get one thing here, make it a pastry because they clearly know what they're doing in that department. I also tried the prosciutto sandwich and personally wasn't a fan. I really didn't understand why there was mayo in it. My brother thought it was fine, so maybe it just wasn't for me. Even though I didn't love the matcha or my sandwich, the staff was super friendly, the pastries were amazing, and the cups were adorable, so I'd still come back... just not for the matcha.

Flaky and hard outside with a soft inside. Would get again. Their matcha might as well been a cup of milk with green food coloring. Literally awful and tasted like nothing. It was PACKED and stuffy in there but the staff were all working really fast and got the orders out quickly. There's also barely any seating in there so don't plan to eat inside. My wife, our 3-year-old daughter, and I went there for breakfast. Because our daughter won't stay seated, my wife and I usually take turns eating. I hung out with our daughter while my wife ordered and ate. Then, we switched. A quiche was brought to the table. I wasn't expecting it, so I asked the waitress to confirm it was for our table. She said, "Yes, it is." I assumed my wife had ordered it, so I ate it. I was about to leave when a manager came over to ask if I had ordered the item, to which I answered, "I don't know." She asked for the receipt, which I didn't have. At this point, three staff members were standing around questioning me about this quiche. One of them brought out a receipt with "154" written on it; our table was 54. They were speaking Spanish among themselves, so I wasn't sure what was happening, but they eventually walked away. I thought the matter was settled. I went outside, and my wife went back inside to wash her hands. The manager approached her to ask if she had ordered the quiche and requested the receipt, explaining that I had probably eaten an item I didn't pay for. My wife hadn't kept the receipt, so we couldn't confirm or deny it. Maybe the person at the counter added it to our order by mistake. Maybe the waitress brought it by mistake and confirmed it was ours by mistake. But ultimately, we didn't make the mistake. Don't harass customers over your own errors. It isn't worth it for a quiche.
