This isn't the best Vicky that I have been to and It could use some TLC. I immediately noticed how messy their tables inside were and the empty napkin dispensers. It also didn't seem like there was any system for helping out the line of customers so you don't really know the order. Maybe I'm just use to the number tickets. As soon as we walk in we are not greeted right away and had to ask for help. There was a guy sitting by the Register on his phone texting. The vibe was completely off. The best guava pastelitos ever are found at Vicky's! I venture to say every location is just as legitimate and can stake the claim. I ordered a guava and cheese along with just a guava. I had a preference for the guava one over the other, but both were excellent! Perfect crunch, tons of guava and warm...nice and waaaaaarm. Service surprisingly was also very good considering how busy they were. People might say its Hialeah looking and that it lacks decor, but for me its a stop and go so none of that matters to me. I had heard very good things about this bakery and wanted to pick up some cookies while in the area, so I decided to stop in. I walked in and there were a couple of employees standing around but nobody greets you. I chose 15 mini cookies and paid for them. They were two different varieties and I brought them home. They looked delicious and I even ate a couple before dinner. The flavor was fair. I liked the ones with the chocolate on top but the ones with the cherry were really lacking flavor. I will probably only come back here for the cookies with the chocolate on top. A lot of the varieties of the cookies did not appeal to me. It does get pretty crowded here and can be a little loud.
