51. eggrolls noodle bowl
Tom G.

Viet taste delivers. A client told me once that Viet Taste has the best noodles in New Mexico. So far, I can't prove it wrong. I had the #51 egg roll noodle bowl. The rest is a five star review.

1. Spring Rolls
Rachel M.

Might return to try the entrees, but definitely won't reorder the spring rolls. Goi con is my go-to carryout snack. These didn't deliver the satisfying freshness I expect. $4.25 gets you two, but the peanut sauce is more liquid than peanut, and the lettuce is more yellow than green. Womp womp.

Delicious food and polite service. Definitely a place worth going back to. Combination noodle bowls are some of my favorite and this place did not disappoint.

Had a delicious lunch with a girlfriend at Viet Taste. We both had crispy egg noodle stir fried combination that consisted of pork, shrimp, chicken, crab meat, vegetables and crispy noodles. It was delicious! We split a grilled chicken sandwich which they cut iin half for us. It was really good. The ambience is casual and not too loud. Our server Laura was great! Very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend Viet Taste. You won't be disappointed.

Oh yeah. Good pho spot. Nice, spacious restaurant. Was busy but good came out quickly. Pho broth had a great flavor. Meat was very good quality. Solid Thai iced tea.

Viet Taste has a new menu and it is sooo good. The menu includes more Asian American creations such as orange chicken and more. One of the others is oxtail pho.

Beef in grape leaf

I popped in with a friend for a light snack. We ordered a couple appetizers which ended up being plenty to share and perfect. There were some beef wraps in grape leaf that were so tasty and filling. I wouldn't say the taste was spicy hot by any means but had a subtle flavor. And we got spring rolls with shrimp. Everything was freshly made, and by the look of the full dining room, I could tell this was a popular place! I included a couple of pics. I hope to get back there!

Jasmine rice with shrimp and EXTRA broccoli!

Viet Taste NEVER disappoints! One of my favorite restaurants for Vietnamese cuisine in Albuquerque. The staff are not only friendly but extremely good at what they do. The dining area is cozy and there's rarely a wait for a table, even during dinner rushes. Id recommend the papaya salad with tofu, the grilled chicken and grilled shrimp--they are the BEST!

Clean and not too crowded, pleasant but not astounding decor. Food's a bit bland for my taste though.

I love this place! The pho is amazing. You can't go wrong. I ate the rare beef with meatball. I intended on taking a pic but... I ate it ‍

Good prices but felt like I'd was bland and just not very flavorful. I will check out some other Vietnamese places next time.

You must know the spring rolls look easy but they are not. They are delicious because of the…read moretexture of the wrap and the amount of soybean sprouts and noodles. The shrimp is crunchy and flavorful. This place rolls it when you order it because the wrap is not cold or hard. It's soft and room temperature. It's just perfect. The peanut sauce is creamy and has a slight taste of chocolate due to its creaminess. Service is friendly and quick. The ambiance is family casual with a conversation buzz. Pad Thai with lemongrass beef is in need of a few vegetables. The size of the pad Thai is huge . It has a sweet , citric and crunchy peanut flavor. The large portion of beef is not the lemongrass marinated beef. I ate it all and I'm satisfied. I will not order it again specially because their egg noodle lemongrass stir fry is substantially more delicious and loaded with fresh vegetables. The sticky rice and mango is so good I can't even describe other than freshly sliced sweet mango in a coconut rice pairing. Creamy and flavorful.

The restaurant gets very crowded around dinner time, but luckily the wait time was reasonable…read more The soup for the pho is not too greasy, and it tastes neat and clean. If you prefer a thicker and stronger-flavored broth, this might not be your favorite. I recommend their lemongrass soup (bun bo hue). The noodles are thicker and chewier than standard pho noodles, and the soup has richer flavors. Their soup was not as flavorful as I would like, but this cleaner version surely will be more approachable.

If you are in Albuquerque and craving a solid banh mi, CODA Bakery is a great spot to check out. I…read moreordered the classic banh mi dac biet, and it absolutely delivered. The cold cuts were flavorful, the bread was fresh, and the meat to bread ratio was just right since I like more meat than bread. This is an excellent option for a quick lunch, but I would recommend staying to eat if you can. The decor is simple, the space is clean, and there are a few tables available. It does get busy during the lunch rush, but the line moves quickly and is well worth the wait. While the banh mi definitely steals the show, there are plenty of other options on the menu. Their banh cuon, thin rice noodles filled with ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, was good, though still second to the sandwiches. They also offer pate chau, a flaky puff pastry filled with pork pate, including a New Mexico style version with chicken and green chile. They have a variety of Vietnamese desserts like che, which I did not get a chance to try this time. My coworker loved their traditional Vietnamese hot coffee. I do not drink coffee, but I did enjoy one of their smoothies, which was refreshing and delicious. Overall, CODA Bakery is a go to spot for authentic Vietnamese flavors and one of the best places in Albuquerque for banh mi.

We had an order of fried eggrolls that were good. My mom had the Shrimp Skewer which was essentially the same as my order, without the noodles. Will have to go back and try something else next time.

After sitting on the I-40 for two hours so officials could clear three separate wrecks (*sigh* yes…read morefor real), I was all the things: parched, bladder bloated (lol, sorry), but most of all hangry. I called to place an order through "Bamboo by Kulantro" with a very friendly staff member. He was just as friendly when I picked up my takeout on November 25, 2025. My "takeaway" entree was the Bamboo Bowl ($18.12 with a card). It entailed "vermicelli noodles, spring mix, crispy garnish, peanuts, house sauce, crispy egg roll cut up into pieces, two grilled shrimp, and my choice of protein: grilled beef. While there was an enormous amount of vermicelli noodles which I could not finish, the rest of the entree had great portions of the rest. My dog even enjoyed much of the beef I offered her. (I washed the spice off.) If you have gluten, peanut allergy, vegan preferences, etc. - those requests can be honored. Inside, the restaurant was no frills, but a mostly quiet, clean environment. It seemed nice. Recommended for a healthy, quality meal with friendly service!
