He called the order in sitting beside me-girl on the other end confirmed and double checked his requests and then they mixed up the order. (Requested sliced green olive and grilled buffalo chicken, but we received fried plain chicken with kalamata olives.) (No, I'm not pregnant.) A few years ago a friend took me to Village Pizza... I was very impressed by their pizza, the delicious sauce and crunchy crust. So I order from there all the time now...Over the years I've tried there wings and the to die for desserts amoung other items on the menu... It's a warm and family friendly environment ! I wrote a review about this place and they called me and gave me a credit and asked for me to take it down which I did. I didn't want to take the credit but the person made a good point on why it would be a waste of money if I didn't take the credit. So today I called to use my credit and they told me I don't have a credit, which I find ridiculous. I order food from here frequently and I have never had a bad meal. My favorite meal is the bourbon steak tip dinner which is enough food for 2 people. The steak tips are very tender and are not chewy , they give you a pound of French fries which are some of the best fries I have eaten. They have an extensive menu and you would be hard pressed not to find something you don't like. read more

My boyfriend and I just moved to the Pawtucket area and decided to try places we've never been before. We've only ordered take out from here. The first time took almost an hour to get our order delivered to us, but it could have been they were extremely busy because our food did arrive hot, not piping (as I would have liked), but enough for me to know we weren't forgotten. The pizza was delicious, the sauce is sweet and savory, its not super greasy like other pizza joints, and you get a lot of food for your buck. They have awesome specials and the menu is seriously the real McCoy with amazing photos of their food. We've ordered here twice and have loved the food we've gotten. We've ordered from here several times and it seems hit or miss. Sometimes the food comes hot. Sometimes cold. Sometimes it's very good. Sometimes it isn't. For instance we ordered the party pizza once and asked for it well done and it came perfect. Last time we ordered a supreme and asked for it well done and it came soggy, and took an hour. We also ordered wings, half of which were soggy (sauced) and the other half (plain) were hard and over cooked. They were also extremely small for the price (5 wings for $6). While I try to support places like this that are close to us the inconsistency shows me you should stick to ordering what they seem to do best: pizzas with very limited toppings and specific cooking instructions. A pepperoni pizza ordered well done will come the way you want it. But don't expect anything else to be good unless you eat it at their location. read more

Decent pizza place - I like them because they deliver to Pawtucket. Made the mistake of ordering my pepperoni pizza with mushrooms, though - mushrooms were piled on & it was just too much. Their basic pizza is very good, so next time I'll stick with just cheese or pepperoni. The sauce is sweet, crust is on the thin side & crispy on the edges. Pretty decent turn around from call to getting the pizza. Loyalty program could be a bit better, but still nice you get free food for repeat orders. Wings are really good. Gyros are ok. If I could give 0 stars I would. All throughout high school I would order from Village Pizza and it was amazing. I move back to Central Falls and I wanted to order from here again. And man has it changed for the worst. I could throw a rock at them at how close I am and it would take over 2 hours to get my food. I would get it cold or not the way I would order it. And the worst of it all delivery drivers stealing money from me assuming they were gonna get tipped. Now I always tip the drivers but don't just take it from my change let me hand you the tip. Had this done to me 2 times in one night and the manager on duty didn't care at all. I'm sorry but if I'm paying so much for food and am getting $15 in change back and your driver takes 5$ from me without me giving it to him it's time to get new drivers. And not for nothing they don't drive correctly either. I'm sorry but as good as the pizza is you are not worth being stolen from. read more

They can get bogged down on super busy nights so give them some extra time on top of what they quote you and you won't be disappointed. If you have something delivered and pay with a credit or debit card they want to take a impression of your card "Which is illegal in the state of RI" and then they want to take down your drivers license # as well. I didn't have a great experience the first time I tried this establishment but I was impressed with the owner, Manolis, who reached out to me after my experience to see if he could make things right. I've "Yelped!" for a number of years and this was the first time that someone from a restaurant that I commented on actually reach out to me in earnest to correct things and ask for a second chance. I couldn't take him up on his offer right away but about 45 days later I reached out to him and he remembered me said that his offer still stood. I ordered buffalo wings and a large cheese pizza for my 3 sons and we ate like there was no tomorrow. The wings were perfect, crispy, and flavorful, this time around and the pizza was very good with some of the tastiest sauce that I've had on a pizza since I moved to RI. I will be back again for more and it is primarily because this establishment has an owner who genuinely cares and as a business owner myself I can really respect that. I'm basing this review on solely one experience I have ordered from Village in the past when at work and the food was great and that was even with large orders. With this particular situation I ordered a steak tip salad a medium pepperoni and cheese pizza and a crispy chicken salad I waited over an hour and a half for the food to get here when it hit an hour I called they told me that the wait was an hour and 20 minutes now I ordered my food online and there was nothing to indicate to tell me that I would be waiting an hour and 20 minutes for my food. Once an hour and 20 minutes came I then called and asked where my food was and said this is ridiculous by the time it gets here it's going to be cold hour and 35 minutes past I then call and they say let me see where the driver is they get back on the line to tell me the driver is outside he put the wrong address in his GPS. When the driver called he said he was outside he was not outside I had to actually physically go to the door and wave him down. Of course at this point the tip that I had waiting because I paid with my credit card is now back in my pocket. After he gives me my receipt to sign he then gives me another receipt and tells me to write down my credit card number what kind of s*** is this are they kidding me with all this fraud going on you think I'm going to write down my credit card number on a receipt when I already paid for it online unacceptable and because of this one experience I will never order from Village again. Oh and of course the meat on my salads was extremely cold and so was the pizza! read more

Neighbor introduced me to Village Pizza as a quick delivery in the area. I have to say I have not been disappointed. I have stuck mainly to the wings both boneless and bone in. I love the teryaki and the buffalo is good. I generally prefer boneless and they don't disappoint with the size of them. The curly fries are good as well. I will eventually venture into more things in the menu but the wings are keeping me satisfied so far. Delivery is always quick as well. read more

Took two hours from the time I ordered for my food till it arrived. 5 mins to order, 5 mins to request a refund, 45 mins for the wait time they told me, and then 1 hour and 5 mins for it to arrive. It took multiple phone calls from the driver to find my address which is 6 mins / 1 mile away. Then after the food arrived not only was it cold but my small curly fries looked like they belonged in a kids meal and they tasted old. My medium size calzone was also small, cold and soggy. I would never recommend anyone to order there no matter how enticing their menu sounds. It's not worth it. read more
