Tiny bakery serving bahn mi and pho. I stopped in for a quick, post-HMart bahn mi #1, which is the "traditional" Viet version (as I was told). Filled with several varieties of cold cuts, a schmear of pate, carrots, cukes, and cilantro. Very good. The baguette was fantastic--thin, crispy eggshell crust that disintegrates into a cloud of crumbs when bitten into with a pillowy soft interior. A colossal bargain at $5. My only critique is that the sandwich desperately needed a schmear of mayo and a couple squirts of Maggi Seasoning Sauce to give it an umami punch and a bit more richness. Still, I 'd eat another. I always enjoyed their banh mi here. Actually it is my favorite in the Portland area. The bread is just perfect. This time I was kind of disappointed. I ordered about ten sandwiches and asked if there was a special over the phone, like a buy five get one free special, the lady replied "yes". When I got there there was no special, just there sandwich called the special. It was a misunderstanding even though I said it cleary if I get a free sandwich since I bought many. I also learned if you buy a lot, it seem like the sandwiches had less meat inside, which was another disappointment. I also saw their spring rolls that was "top seller" on the menu. It looked pretty good and four full rolls were pictured and she said that four for $6. That was a deal until I got it. The spring rolls were nothing special and there were just two cut in half. They look nothing like the picture. I no longer get excited to come here. All customers ask is keep it real. Your dish should look like the picture in the menu. read more

Sister restaurant to Pho Nam in Progress Ridge. VinaDeli is more casual and focuses on pho and bahn mi sandwiches. Tried two different bahn mi sandwiches and was pleasantly surprised. They toast the bread so you get a nice light crunch on the outside with a light and soft bread inside. The bread doesn't have the same yeasty flavor as the other place we usually go for bahn mi's. I missed the flavor but prefer the texture of Vinadeli's bread. Fillings were generous - I prefer a bit more mayo and special sauce on mine- it was a bit too dry. This place is a decent choice for this side of Tigard that doesn't have much Vietnamese options. Will be back to try the pho- I expect it will be similar to Pho Nam since it's the same owners. read more

Delicious! Affordable prices, food is fresh and served rather quickly and the team here is friendly! This location has been a baguette place before and I didn't know they changed owners until today. The menu is different and they have more vegetarian/vegan options as well. I like the speciality vegetable roll with no noodles and adding avocado. Stopped in here recently. The old sign is still up so I wasn't sure I was at the right place. I definitely was. They have added Pho to the menu and it's fantastic. The broth is key to Pho and this place has a great broth. Served with the usual sprouts, basil, lime and jalapeno. I tried the special with meatballs, steak, brisket and tendon. It was great!
