I stopped by this place the other day seeing that they had just replaced the old bon baguette. And I must say that it looks great inside! The interior is nice and open and looks like they are still transitioning some of it to the new owners. I had to start off with the Vina Bowl Special. The broth was nice and hot, the flavor was there as well and didn't need to have me add any sirracha or hoisin to it. I asked for a side of the baguette to go along with it because lolz hunger. It was nice and crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. The crust was also soft enough that i didn't cut off the roof of my mouth when I bit into it. The waitress was able to give me some pate and some homemade mayo which made the baguette even more delicious. Get me a Bubble Tea, an Asian Sweet and Sour Pork Salad Roll, and a Vina Pho Special and I am a happy camper. I have made it a point to visit this little Deli the last few times I have gone to the nearby H-mart and I have yet to be disappointed no matter what I have tried. My personal favorite is the Asian Sweet and Sour Pork Salad Roll, which just hits different when paired with its sauce. VinaDeli also has a great atmosphere. The staff and (I think) the owners have this energetic and happy air about them as they work and interact. I would strongly advise giving this place a shot if you are in the area. read more

I bribed my daughter that is she behaved at the dentist she could have a special drink. She picked boba tea. I did not realize most places open at noon and it was 10am. I lucky found this place and it is so close to my house I have driven past it hundreds of times. I am so grateful I found it! There were so many boba flavors and they could put the jellies or mango popping balls in the boba instead. I had a Vietnamese coffee that was amazing. Seriously why go to Starbucks in the parking lot when I could get this amazing coffee! We also had a bahn mi and a pork steam bun. My daughter is really picky and devoured the pork bun. My bahn mi reminded me of my trip to Vietnam. Soft bread with a crisp exterior, flavorful herbs, crunchy pickled veggie and delicious meat. This is my favorite pho place I've ever been to!! Best pho, so delicious, filling, warming on a cold day and still the perfect meal even on a hot one. The owners always greet us with a smile and they are the kindest people in the world. Always considerate and remember regulars like us and treat us like royalty. I cannot recommend this place enough. I normally gatekeep this place because that's how much I love it but I can't go without leaving them a review they deserve. If I could give them higher than a 5 I would. We decided to try out Vina Deli while in town and they did not disappoint. We got the special, the grilled pork, the cured pork, and the grilled chicken. The first thing I noticed about the other pictures in the reviews was the amount of filling the Banh Mis had. That was not a misrepresentation. While definitely not overflowing, the sandwiches had struck a beautiful balance between fresh jalapeno, cilantro, pickled carrots and daikon, and meat filling. The first bite into the French roll was exactly like that scene in ratatouille where Collette crunches the baguette so linguini and Remy could hear the sound, when I bit into this Banh Mi I was instantly engulfed in a symphony of scintillating sounds accompanied by the toasted grain flavors of this high quality bread. And yet, the crisp roll did not tear up the inside of my mouth like a box of Cap'n Crunch cereal the way other Banh Mis will. TLDR: flavors are on point. Bread is exceptional. Price is affordable. The food is AMAZING! It's always so difficult to choose when ordering take out or dining in because everything I tried so far is really good. So far I tried the Vina Pho Special, the beef stew with egg noodle, their grilled Chicken Banh Mi, pork combo bun, and their breakfast sandwiches and I can say that it is all so good and I am definitely happy each time. I order lunch from here pretty often and it is always delicious! I usually get the vermicelli bowl but the bahn mi is also great. I also have a cilantro allergy and they always take care to make sure there is none in my food. They even called once to make sure they had my order correct, which I've never had another delivery restaurant do. read more

Okay, I've been coming here more and as they expanded their menu, the food quality is even better. The Pho broth is good, and I mean good! My family loves coming here for their Bahn Mi's and Pho. I'm not in love with the salad rolls, as I think it could use herbs, but many places are afraid Americans will not like it. Typically in Hawaii, Pho restaurants add basil, mint and bean sprouts to the standard noodles, lettuce and meat, but it's still good and most places here in OR serve it the same as Vina. I do want to add the owner is the nicest person! Before Covid, she would sometimes even give us a plate of fresh fruit for dessert. Very quick service and delicious. Enjoyed the wonton soup and pork egg roll and grilled chicken vermicelli Bowl. The baguettes are smaller and they're charging more for less food and less quality. The bread is this weird dough that is more hoagie than baguette. I got charged .75 more for extra mayo. I visited this place twice when it was "Bon Baguette" first time was to try they're bahn mi and that was a disappointment and the second just for a Vietnamese I've coffee which was ok. Here's the confusing part...the outside of the store front still says "Bon Baguette" but the menu does read "VinaDeli" 2 stars for the service. We were greeted once we entered. The place seems the same they might of rearranged the counters?? Anyways..we sat down and ordered the "special bahn mi" and the "house special pho" and an appetizer of "fried wontons." For the bahn mi: nothing special. Tasted a tad bland. They definitely skimped on everything that's suppose to be inside a bahn mi. I mean I could ask for extra but for an added charge. The pho: big disappointment! I could walk across the parking lot to H Mart to get a better bowl of pho! VinaDeli pho broth seems to be missing something. Doesn't have that pho taste to it. And for the appetizer: never order that again. I say forget about this place. I think if you want better Bahn mi I would definitely go to Tan Tan Delicatessen or Best Baguette. Even yet Tan Tan's pho is pretty good. Plus I think your money will be better spent at these two places than VinaDeli. Overall, service was good. Fantastic Vietnamese food and drink in Tigard! After 2 visits, I've tried their Bahn mi' special and their chicken pho along with their Vietnamese iced coffee. All of these were possibly the best I've ever had! The give you a huge plate of bean sprouts, basil and lime. No skimping here! It is hard to try other things because these are so good and their buns and deserts look yummy as well! I'll probably try the salad rolls next! They are new owners and the old bon baguette signage is still up. It's right next to Starbucks and Hmart. Place is so sparkling clean and the owners are super friendly. Priced right and affordable. My favorite Bánh mì in Oregon so far, and I've been to all the popular shops in Portland. It closely resembles my favorite bánh mì in Orange County. The Vietnamese cold cuts, or charcuterie, is very flavorful. I like to get my sandwiches with extra meat. I've only tried the special (dac biet) and bbq pork (xa xiu) and they both were excellent. Also try their sesame balls. Chewy glutinous rice ball filled with sweet mung bean, coated with sesame seeds then fried. It's a real treat with a lot of different textures. Also the white bean dessert with coconut milk (Chè Đậu Trắng) is delicious. Highly highly recommended. I live a ways away in Vancouver but I will happily make the drive down to Tigard for these sandwiches. read more
