Service was good very friendly... I ordered the pho and noticed an off taste. I tried to cover it with sriracha and it didn't seem to help. I ended up not being able to finish the bowl and left. VinaDeli is my go to for bahn mi. It's tiny, inexpensive, people are lovely, food is fresh and fantastic. Wasn't a huge fan of the pork belly sandwich, but try the pork baguette, I just discovered you can do double meat, which is so worth it, way more filling for a couple bucks more. I always get two so I can take one to work for lunch the next day. When they heard that, they left veggies off and separately wrapped them so they wouldn't wilt. Also put a little container of fish sauce on the side so it wouldn't make it soggy overnight. Such attention to what would be best for me at no extra cost. What a great place to stop into right before kayaking on the Tualatin river. I've passed by it so many times and regret never going in. The place was busy for the 10 mins I was there grabbing two bahn mis. The people were really nice and I got their specialty and my friend got the pork. Both were really delicious. Grabbed some Bahn mi's for a rounch of 18 hole golf (2 chk, 1 veggie, 1 pork, and chk spring rolls). It's very close to my house and I've had them before. They were always decent, nothing amazing. This time our sandwiches were dry, all meat was very DRY, veggies weren't pickled long enough, jalepeno had no spice. It was a very underwhelming Bahn mi and would say the worst I've had in a loooong time. The spring rolls were poorly wrapped and the peanut sauce was too sweet. The meat in that was also dry. I don't think I'll be going there again. The service was ok. We had to wait a bit to get help, and no one was in the restaurant. And then we waited a while for our sandwiches. Maybe they're understaffed and had to-go orders ? Not sure but the only positive is that the bread was good, it would've been even better warm. I see lots of positive reviews. That in itself might get me to go back. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. My wife is a vegetarian. Due to her condition I rarely get the shrimp and pork salad rolls. So I jumped at the chance. I don't know if lack of herbs in salad rolls has become the exception or the standard but these had cucumber, noodles and lots of lettuce. Like a ridiculous amount I had to take some out. The banh mi was ok. The bread was very crispy but dry. So it didn't have a very good mouth feel. There were some gristly pieces of pork. this is a tiny little shop next to H-Mart. for being a a small shop it has a ton of options to choose from, from Pho , boba, spring rolls, rice noodles bowls, and of course bahn mi! we started with the pork and shrimp spring roll and it was so fresh and crisp! the peanut dipping sauce could have used a little spoce, but that's just my preference. we ordered the grilled beef bahn mi and the Vina special #1, which has pate, head cheese, ham and some other type of meat. I'm not sure exactly but it was amazing!! so much flavor and the actual baguette was super fresh. the veggies were good and crisp, but not pickled like I am used to, and it was a little light on the mayo and jalapeno. Great crispy baguette and not too much mayo to overwhelm. Other options included meatball, BBQ pork, sardine, and chicken. Sandwiches were around $6.50 each. I also tried the steamed pork bun - was good, although not as much BBQ taste as expected. They also had a variety of pho dishes and croissant sandwiches with deli meat and egg options. For drinks, the Vietnamese coffee is strong and good! They had a huge list of fruit smoothies and a case with canned and bottled drinks. They also have cases with pre-made meats and desserts for purchase. They have a few tables where you can sit and staff will bring your food out, although most people came for take-out. Ambience is nothing special, but more than adequate for a quick bite. Staff were friendly. VinaDeli is located in the same parking lot as H-Mart, so you can eat and do your shopping afterwards. Came here a couple days ago. I wanted to try both pho and traditional sandwich. The pho was small portion for price of 11. I felt that it was missing something. The lady server was super friendly and nice, didn't want to bother her bcuz she gotten kinda busy so I was unable to care to ask for fish sauce. Not all the condiments were on table, their chill oil was good but I given some that was running very very low, and also no black pepper, garlic chili and fish Sauce. As for the sandwich it wasn't crunchy, I order one to go. I had to reheat it at home to eat it. I had the grilled pork; while biting and chewing on it I came across fattie fats that were attach to the pork. Hm... made me not want to really eat it. In addition I order sesame ball and I would have to say they are the worst ever, it was four small pieces for 3 dollars. The steam rolls were good but small portion too. read more

VinaDeli occupies what used to be the old Bon Baguette location. It's in the same shopping center as H Mart, right next to Tan Republic. Parking was plentiful. We ordered the following items to-go: - Pork Patty (Nem Nuong) & Fried Egg Rice Plate $10 - Grilled Pork Rice Plate $10 - Egg Rolls $6 When we placed our food order, the lady behind the counter had a puzzled look on her face that we ordered rice plates instead of the pho. Weird, but we didn't think anything of it. When we got home, we were disappointed to find that the Pork Patty (Nem Nuong) & Fried Egg Rice Plate didn't make it home with us. Instead, we received a ham rice plate that cost $10 but didn't look like it should cost $10. Not to mention this was not on their menu and it wasn't very good. The egg rolls I would skip, as it wasn't anything spectacular. I've had better egg rolls I bought from the grocery store that I fried up at home. The Grilled Pork Rice Plate was the star. I have made it a point to visit this little Deli the last few times I have gone to the nearby H-mart and I have yet to be disappointed no matter what I have tried. My personal favorite is the Asian Sweet and Sour Pork Salad Roll, which just hits different when paired with its sauce. VinaDeli also has a great atmosphere.
