I did a search to find a local wing place to eat and this place popped up. I'm a visitor from Southern California and my kids and myself are first timers in Seattle. I did read and understand the wings are small and crispy but my wings (12) piece were fried so hard the meat was tough and chewy! I felt like my order wasn't made fresh but a left over or a return. I paid $20 and the only decent thing in my order was the 2 celery sticks! I wish I could get my money back and go to a more traditional wing restaurant like Wing Stop. First time I came here for lunch the wings were fantastic. Met with a buddy during our lunch breaks at work. The buffalo is such an iconic and traditional flavor. The wings were crispy but still tender on the inside. Second time I was super pumped to come back. Even though I was 1 of 5 people in the restaurant, it took me around 30 minutes to get my order of 12 wings. I had to pay for extra parking because it was nowhere near as fast as my first visit. The wings this visit were crispy crispy crispy and the meat was extremely dry. Didn't have time to send it back so I just powered through. The flavors of the sauce were great still. The bar tender was friendly. I am torn on recommending this place because the first time I went was awesome but my second visit was pretty sub par. Tried Vindictive Wings during their 99-cent wing special. The wings were on the smaller side, which I actually prefer, and they were cooked extra crispy just right. The lemon pepper seasoning was also really tasty. One thing we wish we had known beforehand is that during the special they only serve wings. Unfortunately, someone in our party doesn't eat wings, and they weren't able to accommodate with any other menu options. It would've been nice to know that before we got a table and ordered drinks. Service was overall average. The person who seated us was super friendly, but our waiter didn't seem very happy to be there. Would I go back? We saw this place had some great reviews and also had some TVs to watch the Texans game, and surprisingly it was hard to find somewhere downtown that would show the game, but I digress! We heard these were the best wings in Seattle, so we had to check it out. The rumors are true, and I'm obsessed now. We tried the hot buffalo, flavor of the week (pumpkin bbq), and lemon pepper, as well as Vindicktive fries. The wings were crisp and sauced to perfection, and they come with delicious house made blue cheese dressing. We're also big fans of the house lager. I'm usually not much of a beer drinker (I'm good with a few sips from my bf's), but this one just pairs so well with the wings that I had to order one for myself. We arrived at the tail end of a Buffalo game, so it was pretty crowded, but we were still able to get a table and the vibe was really fun. Buffalo fans are cool as hell - everyone was really friendly, including staff, even though I was decked out in Eagles gear. I wasn't sure we'd be able to watch my game because it was on at the same time as the Seahawks, but they were able to put it on for us (much appreciated!!). Eagles game + best wings ever + beers = super happy campers over here. This was a stellar way to spend a Sunday afternoon, and we've been dreaming of those wings all week. A friend recommended this as a nice late night spot in Belltown. Located conveniently close to a few clubs such as Ora, you can just walk less than a block and get some above average food. We got the 12 piece wings which was $18 before tax and tip. Kinda pricey for the amount you get as the wings are really tiny. I opted for buffalo medium and lemon pepper, and I liked both flavors. Buffalo is usually not my first choice but given how many people ordered it here, it must be good, and I must say, it is really solid and pairs extremely well with the blue cheese sauce they give. Buffalo and blue cheese is much better than buffalo and ranch for me. The lemon pepper is also really delicious. The wings were small and crispy, so there is some nice flavor going on, but it could be hard to chew for those that were thinking of the typical wings. You seat yourself, order at the bar, and they deliver the food to you. Fairly fast casual format, and it does take a while to get the wings, about 15-20 minutes, so plan ahead. read more

Pretty frustrating experience. We came in as a group of 5 and were told they don't split checks for parties of "6 or more." When we pointed out we were five, we got attitude instead even abiding by their own "rules." They also tried to cram us into a tiny table despite the place not being busy. When we tried to solve the problem ourselves, it turned into a weirdly confrontational back-and-forth. Felt like they cared more about setting up arbitrary rules than actual service. I'm on the hunt for the best spicy hot wings in Seattle, after seeing positive reviews and reading some paid content promos I decided to give this place a try. It was a disappointment. I won't be back but encourage others to try and see for yourself. PROS: - downtown location with plenty of paid street parking and open late night - reasonable prices and solid menu - good servers they pay attention and were polite - the wings were well prepared, I found them to be meaty. I should also add that big wings don't equal big flavors. - I liked that they have a reaper spicy sauce option. - easy going and chill spot where you can seat yourself. It's just another typical sports bar. CONS - the mango habanero was not spicy at all. It looked like they forgot to add sauce to my chicken wings because this can't be it. After all that extra fire emojis next to the mango habanero sauce on their menu, my wings lacked seasoning. The fries were equally under salted. - They don't seem to do wet sauce. While on vacation we found ourselves in a pickle late at night and worst of all, hungry. Vindicktive Wings was one of the options that we came across during our search and I don't think we could have stopped at a better place to eat.  First, the service was AMAZING. Mike was the one who served us and turned our moods around immediately. He was kind, knowledgeable, and thoughtful.  Secondly, the food? The wings were incredible. In fact, I am missing them right now and halfway across the country. Please Vindicktive Wings consider shipping as an option for your carryout? In all seriousness, I had the lemon pepper wings, the buffalo wings, and the fries, and would highly recommend everything. They also do not serve ranch, which I thought would be an issue, but the blue cheese was unique and delicious in addition to their wings.  Lastly, the vibe. I am normally overwhelmed when music is played at restaurants, however, the level of the volume was just the right amount to where I could enjoy the music and my conversation too. The restaurant has front windows that open completely to let in the nighttime breeze. The restrooms are worth an honorable mention too- but not for the reason you would think (you'll have to check it out yourself.)  I will never stop recommending Vindicktive Wings to anyone who comes close to Seattle - so if you're in the area check it out. Absolutely incredible experience at Vindicktive Wings! After a comedy show, we were on a mission for some late-night wings, and this place delivered in every way. Despite it being a VERY busy Saturday night (with both a game and a show happening in Seattle), the staff was unbelievably accommodating. I typically do 12 wings split between the spicy buffalo and whatever their sauce of the week is. The Vindictive Lager is a perfect complimentary beer. And the chop salad is a damn near perfect side. And I don't know where they get their blue cheese dressing from, but it's thick and utterly delicious. Staff has always been friendly and the decor is fitting. There's a small barcade upstairs with a couple arcade cabinet classics - Ms PAC Man, Time Crisis, and Area 51/Lethal Enforcers. And the restroom decor is hilarious. As a Buffaloian, I had high expectations going to Vindicktive - both excitement and apprehension since I haven't found comparable wings in Seattle. The atmosphere was electric - great music, vibe, fun team, and they have Labatts Blue (not Blue Light) - but it was $5 per bottle! The wings were overall just okay. While they were crispy (and we didn't have to order them extra crispy), the wing size was VERY small, not a lot of meat, and sauce was desiring more flavor and quantity - but it by far fell short of Duffs, Gabriel's Gate, Bar Bill or Anchor Bar level. Even the hot sauce was disappointing - and wasn't comparable. The fries were great though - crispy, light, and hot. The blue cheese, while tasty, was way too thick - definitely not dippable. Would I go back for these wings?.... There are better wing places in Seattle than this place (their pop up was far more successful and tasteful than brick and mortar). I'd even go as far to suggest Wing Stop would be better. I pulled up to Vindicktive Wings after seeing multiple claims that they have the best wings in Seattle. I swung by around 11:30 PM on a Monday while there were plenty of tables, I was still surprised by the number of people who were there! Definitely a local late night spot in the area with plenty of regulars. We ordered some bites at the bar and they brought the food out to our booth. Buffalo Wings (4/5): They do state in the description that the wings are smaller than what you normally get, but that means if you're hungry, this can get pricey real fast. However, I'm sure the 99 cent Wing Wednesday deal is absolutely worth. Wings are fried fresh and the texture of the skin gets a bit crunchy was awesome. I like their buffalo, good level of tang though not spicy at all. PSA: they do NOT provide ranch, but their blue cheese is whipped until it's a bit airy and isn't too funky. The beer options are a bit limited but not too bad. I personally wouldn't grab a cocktail here as it doesn't seem to be their strong point. However, most importantly, the wings had great flavor, a good crunch, weren't dried out on the inside, and were reasonable in size. The fries were meh, could use some TLC, but weren't bad. Each order of wings came with celery and a ramekin of blue cheese (I prefer carrots and ranch, so I didn't use/eat either). Vindicktive doesn't provide ranch unless you go upstairs and play the claw machine which is quite funny, even as someone who dislikes blue cheese and prefers ranch. We loved Vindicktive's wings so much that we stopped in once more before heading to the airport on our final day. I will say, the second time we dropped in the service was significantly slower than our first visit, and my wings were far less saucy (I like them super sauced up) than our first visit.
