Hands down the best place in town. The gel manicures are perfect. Vinny, Jenny, Tina, Ann all are amazing. Gels last 3wks+ Bc they know what they are doing. I called first and asked if I could get right in. I was 10 min away. They said sure and I was so happy when I got there with no wait. They looked busy but they had enough people to take me right in. Nothing to cry home about. Kevin did my nails and he did a decent job. Paid $34 for mani-pedi. Not cheap but not expensive. They could turn the fan on to air out the salon, there were a lot of ladies doing shellac or fake nails because chemical smell was pretty strong. read more

The first time I went I had made an appointment for pedicure and gel manicure. Even though I made an appointment requesting a certain person someone else did my pedicure. Of course I was not happy about it but I was in a hurry so decided it was fine. The second time I made an appointment requesting the same person I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment and waited for her to get there. When she sat me down to get me started her other appointment arrived and she no longer wanted to help me she wanted someone else to take care of me. I drive down from Palm Springs, have to plan out someone watching my baby and for this to happen is ridiculous! I felt discriminated and humiliated. I just moved to the area & desperately needed a mani pedi. Vinny Nails was clean & comfortable. Unfortunately, I ended up with the bottom of my heels feeling just like a strip of Velcro. My heels are actually getting caught on the carpet! That's why I am writing this review. Also, Lynn wanted me to reach across my body so she could work on my left hand from the right. I was finally able to get her to roll her chair to my left side to work on my left hand. I have been to this place twice and so far so good.. until today. I went in for a pedicure and halfway through I told my nail tech if she could please remove the cuticle from my fingers and file them down just A LITTLE BIT. NO NAIL POLISH, just cuticle removing due to the fact that I work at Starbucks and can't have my nails painted. She went ahead and did as I asked. She then asked if I wanted lotion & massage (making it sound like it was complimentary) I said yes. Once I was done and proceeded to pay, she tells me that it is going to be $40!!! I was like whattt?!? Last time I checked, it's a $5 charge if you add cuticle removing to your manicure so here I was thinking that it would be an additional $5 to my pedicure which was $25. I know some of you may think well it's just an extra $10 BUT that doesn't mean it isn't unfair due to the fact that all she did was cut my cuticle. I didn't even get clear polish on them NOT to mention she made me bleed from my thumb from viciously yanking at my dead cuticle. I made it known that I was unhappy with the fact that they were charging me a full manicure when all I had asked for was for a cuticle cut. AND then they began talking to each other in their language which is not to mention beyond rude when I'm standing right in front of them. My mom and I have been regular customers with Vinny for years. I usually see Jenny for an eyebrow wax and she is great. I will usually call ahead and they are very prompt with seeing me right away. On Saturday, 5/28, myself and 3 other women/girls were getting services at Vinny's Nails. I got gels to match my toe nail color and man I'm never going back! This was my first time here and came on the recommendation one of of the girls in our group. 3 days later, on Tuesday, 5/31, the gels peeled right off like a sticker from my index and thumb on my right hand. I thought, did she not put my hand in the light box after the initial base coat? I don't remember because mid base coat, she left me to do someone else's hands! Maybe that is the problem? Anyway as, this sucks, it's 2 weeks before the next time I'm going to get my nails done; so now I'm forced to have a horrible nail job and either pay more to have the touch ups or just live with it until next appointment at my regular place! Well it's now Thursday, 6/2 and the middle finger on my left hand started to peel and I pulled that one off cuz it was bothering me! My hair would get stuck between the cuticle area where the gel was lifting. Within 3 days 2 of my nails were ruined and within 5 days 3 nails total are ruined! This was not a quality nail job and it was not inexpensive! If you want quality, Vinny's ain't it! Or just don't go in a group cuz they don't work well under the pressure of being busy at 11 am on a Saturday. read more

I have been coming here about a year and have found this place to be overall a great experience.... With some exceptions.. I will ONLY see Tina, Vinny, or his wife Jenny because they are the only ones that do a good job. After coming in last minute I realized that some of the older guys and this guy Kevin, were absolutely horrible. One time it took 1.5 hrs for a fill... Another time I was bleeding on 3 nails... Stuff that's not acceptable. So 4 stars for the 3 people that I recommended because they are awesome!! But seriously I run out of that place if they try to give me anyone else because I've had nothing but bad experiences. read more

So i called this salon earlier on in the day and asked what their prices were for a gel manicure and gel pedicure they said 30 each so i went and as i was getting my toes done the lady was so persistent about scraping around my toes that she was digging into my toe and i told her it and about cutting my cuticles that she had cut to much off and it hurt so bad that i yelled out from the pain and she kept saying "Oh no problem , no problem" umm yes problem my feet were getting slaughtered . the manicure was good but after that was stuck with a bill for way more than i asked for and when i had started asking about why i was being charged $15 more they kept rewriting out the math and kept asking why i didnt understand . im a college student and live locally . what i didnt understand was why i was being overcharged they said i had been charged for the pedicure plus an additional fee for the gel getting put on . Never have i gone to a salon where they charge you separately for the pedicure and gel polish . I do NOT recommend this place their overpriced and very aggressive .
