    Italian Cold Cut Sandwich
    Alex C.

I was in a drunken stupor (because that's the way I usually begin my Yelp reviews) and was craving some carbs so this spot was only a few steps away. Thankfully, it had anything a person in my position wanted, and that anything was an Italian cold cut combo sub. Not sure why I didn't get a slice or two of pizza, but the veggies on the sub made me think I was eating healthy. Nevertheless, this spot did the trick and I was quite satisfied with my choice. Maybe the next time I go back, I'll remember more of it. You order at the counter, so it's very casual. I don't have much to comment on for ambiance, but it doesn't need much considering it's an essentially a grab and go vibe.

Metal piece inside my chicken lasagna.

I was so excited to leave a phenomenal review because the chicken and spinach lasagna is so delicious, until I bit onto something hard. I pulled out what I thought could possibly be a bone only to discover what looks like a bristle from a metal brush. No thanks. I tried calling just to inform the employees only to get an automated message saying no one is available. Tried to leave a message but kept getting disconnected.

I recently came to Classic Pizza and met the owner, Hugo. Their food is very good!

I recently came and bought some food at Classic Pizza. It was very good! I ordered the chicken avocado sandwich, among other meals. The portions were generous and very filling. The service was great. I met the owner, Hugo. He was very friendly and so was the rest of the team.

One of my local favorites. I grew up on Classic Pizza. I love the food here. Pizza is pretty great and one of my all time favorites is the avocado chicken sandwich. The employees in the front could be a little friendlier. Maybe just pretend they are happy to be working? Lol Definitely a place to try out!

    One slice

I was extremely impressed with the pizza at this little spot. The price was affordable at $3 a slice. I will be back to get a whole pie soon. The quality ingredients really set it aside from the generic pizza chain establishments. The cheese is delicious and the sauce super tasty. This place is kinda hidden in a strip mall so you have to look for it. Parking is available in the lot for free.

A terrible NYC knock off :-(

SLICE OF OLD PIZZA $6 I feel bad having to do this, especially after I left a nice tip. I really try and support or local businesses So I'm from NYC so I'm used to pizza sitting out for a couple of hours. However the slice I tried to eat today was awful and old. The pizza was thin crusted which was nice, however the cheese and sauce was dried so badly that it looked like it was glued to the dough. The cheese closest to the dough didn't taste like 100% real Mazzarella. It tasted like a Cheddar Mazzarella mix (yuck) The Vegitable toppings looked fresh (I sure hope they washed them). They even give you a healthy portion. Unfortunately, the Vegitables were placed on top of the pizza and barely warmed. The mushrooms were raw so i threw most of them away, but I hope that they are the ones you can eat raw. They definitely should have place the slice in the stone or brick oven. I had big hopes for this place. I couldn't keep eating something this bad. I'm really starting to feel sick.

This salad filled the box! Pictures can't show how big this thing was!

The place is cozy with a lot of cool art on the walls. The staff is great and friendly. There's a bar area where you can sit and you have the chef/cooks cooking and the pizza oven in front of you. The salad was fresh and crisp! 9/10 *Wild Mushroom Tagliatelle: 10/10 my favorite item of the night! Pasta was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms were just the cherry on top! *Rigatoni Bolognese: 6/10. Pasta was cooked perfectly but I wasn't a fan of the sauce. *Diavola Pizza: 8/10 it's not spicy but it's good lol. Crust is so airy and crispy! *Peach + Hot Honey: 10/10! What a special combination of peaches, Parmesan & Prosciutto! *Besito Drink: 10/10 *Tiramisu: 9/10 I'm a sucker for Tiramisu and this one is good! We landed on the back patio, which is the move -- string lights, trees, really cute. Your other options are a few tables out restaurant-side or a boxed-in area on the street side. Just know it's all outside, and even with heaters around it gets chilly at night. We came for the pizza and that's exactly where the focus should stay: * Cacio e pepe pizza: Surprisingly delicious. Not a 1-1 with the pasta you're familiar with, but still really good and worth ordering. * Diavola: Spicy and always my favorite. * Margherita: Classic and solid, always worth having. * Rigatoni with pink vodka sauce: Server's rec for most popular sauce, and it delivered. * Little gem salad: Super herbaceous and delicious. * Arancini: Skip it. Middling for the price point... put that money toward another pizza. Pizzas and pastas run $25-29. FYI there's a 3% Healthy LA fee on your bill. Payment is handled tableside on a touchpad (card, Apple Pay, etc.). Vibe is cute, service was helpful, and I'd definitely return to lean even harder into the pizza menu. Parking: Meters up and down both sides of the street - plenty of options (and more on the other side of the street).

This time the cutlet tasted old and pre made, not fresh and crispy at all. Chicken was hard and not flavorful, and the marinara was not very fresh or nearly as tasty as before. Plus the corner table we had in the back had chairs that were uncomfortable and way too low for the table, which made it like chest level and awkward. Dunno who approved those chairs but they never should've been used there, they don't work at all. Next, there must've been a dead rat or rat trap outside the wooden fence where we were seated because the wafting smell of dead rat (unfortunately I'm all too familiar with that particular odor) was not pleasant or conducive to dining. Not to mention the place now gets a "B" from the county inspector, which honestly is one of the main reasons we hadn't returned recently. The highlight of our meal was the welcoming and friendly staff and especially our wonderful waiter Jude. Even though we didn't have it this time, the pizza still looked good and like the best thing to order. A great neighborhood spot that has sadly gone downhill unfortunately.

They have a few seats outside for you to eat at, but I think most do pick-ups. Second, I am a fan of Neopolitan pizza, but my only gripe is about how floppy they can be and not holding the toppings very well. Fiorelli combines Neapolitan-style and New York pizza together, so you get the rich flavors and thin slices of the Neapolitan-style pizza, but without the sloppy flop. Each slice, despite being thin, has structure and crispiness to it, so each bite is surely heavenly. Their dough is also slow-fermented, so it has a pleasant flavor depth that is almost similar to sourdough, but not quite sour. I got the Pepperoni + Burrata + Hot Honey. They are generous in the amount of pepperoni they give. Each pepperoni was cooked to perfection - curled and slightly crispy along the edges while packed with the spicy pepperoni flavor. The burrata was creamy and savory. The hot honey added sweetness and pleasant heat. I liked that they serve the honey separately, so you have full control of how much honey you actually want to drizzle on your pizza. The pizza is topped off with fresh basil leaves, oregano, chili flakes and aged parmesan. Everything came together very well. Lastly, their pizzas are sized perfectly. Enough to share, but if you're super hungry or eating only 1 meal for the day, it's enough for an individual as well. Only thing is price is on the higher end, but given the location, the quality ingredients and house-made nature of their pizzas, I think it's worth it as a treat from time-to-time.
