Metal piece inside my chicken lasagna.
    Mo H.

I was so excited to leave a phenomenal review because the chicken and spinach lasagna is so delicious, until I bit onto something hard. I pulled out what I thought could possibly be a bone only to discover what looks like a bristle from a metal brush. No thanks. I tried calling just to inform the employees only to get an automated message saying no one is available. Tried to leave a message but kept getting disconnected.

I recently came to Classic Pizza and met the owner, Hugo. Their food is very good!

I recently came and bought some food at Classic Pizza. It was very good! I ordered the chicken avocado sandwich, among other meals. The portions were generous and very filling. The service was great. I met the owner, Hugo. He was very friendly and so was the rest of the team.

One of my local favorites. I grew up on Classic Pizza. I love the food here. Pizza is pretty great and one of my all time favorites is the avocado chicken sandwich. The employees in the front could be a little friendlier. Maybe just pretend they are happy to be working? Lol Definitely a place to try out!

I was extremely impressed with the pizza at this little spot. The price was affordable at $3 a slice. I will be back to get a whole pie soon. The quality ingredients really set it aside from the generic pizza chain establishments. The cheese is delicious and the sauce super tasty. This place is kinda hidden in a strip mall so you have to look for it. Parking is available in the lot for free.

A terrible NYC knock off :-(

SLICE OF OLD PIZZA $6 I feel bad having to do this, especially after I left a nice tip. I really try and support or local businesses So I'm from NYC so I'm used to pizza sitting out for a couple of hours. However the slice I tried to eat today was awful and old. The pizza was thin crusted which was nice, however the cheese and sauce was dried so badly that it looked like it was glued to the dough. The cheese closest to the dough didn't taste like 100% real Mazzarella. It tasted like a Cheddar Mazzarella mix (yuck) The Vegitable toppings looked fresh (I sure hope they washed them). They even give you a healthy portion. Unfortunately, the Vegitables were placed on top of the pizza and barely warmed. The mushrooms were raw so i threw most of them away, but I hope that they are the ones you can eat raw. They definitely should have place the slice in the stone or brick oven. I had big hopes for this place. I couldn't keep eating something this bad. I'm really starting to feel sick.

This salad filled the box! Pictures can't show how big this thing was!

They have metal tables and chairs with loud speakers blasting music that echoes throughout the space. Add in loud crowds and kids dropping utensils, and it makes the whole environment pretty unpleasant. As for the food, we ordered the garlic knots, a croissant, the hanger steak, the peach and hot honey pizza, and the wood-fired vanilla bean pound cake for dessert. We covered a good amount of their key items. The main takeaway is that while everything is cooked well, but the dishes really lack flavor. I dine out to get flavors that are not easily made at home, and unfortunately, I did not find them here. The food lacks depth, and frankly, it needs salt to make it stand out. The pizza dough is actually really well prepped, easily as good as Pizzeria Sei, which is the best pizza place in LA, period. But again, it just lacks flavor. Also, as a small side note, there is a 4% employee health insurance surcharge added to the final bill. I probably just missed it listed on the menu somewhere, but oh well. Overall, it is a decent place, but I would not go out of my way to come back here.

We landed on the back patio, which is the move -- string lights, trees, really cute. Your other options are a few tables out restaurant-side or a boxed-in area on the street side. Just know it's all outside, and even with heaters around it gets chilly at night. We came for the pizza and that's exactly where the focus should stay: * Cacio e pepe pizza: Surprisingly delicious. Not a 1-1 with the pasta you're familiar with, but still really good and worth ordering. * Diavola: Spicy and always my favorite. * Margherita: Classic and solid, always worth having. * Rigatoni with pink vodka sauce: Server's rec for most popular sauce, and it delivered. * Little gem salad: Super herbaceous and delicious. * Arancini: Skip it. Middling for the price point... put that money toward another pizza. Pizzas and pastas run $25-29. FYI there's a 3% Healthy LA fee on your bill. Payment is handled tableside on a touchpad (card, Apple Pay, etc.). Vibe is cute, service was helpful, and I'd definitely return to lean even harder into the pizza menu. Came here for a casual lunch with colleagues and left already planning my next visit. The pizza is shockingly affordable for Santa Monica--and actually filling, which feels rare these days. I ordered the Market Vegetable and loved the fresh arugula piled on top (always a win for me). Everything tasted bright, fresh, and thoughtfully put together. But the real hidden gem? The back patio. I had no idea it even existed since the front seating gets all the attention, but the patio feels like a little oasis--quiet, charming, and perfect for a relaxed lunch break. Great food, great value, and an unexpectedly lovely atmosphere. Definitely adding this to my regular rotation.

The ambience is calm and breezy; waitstaff are very attentive and friendly. Hubby and I shared the broad beans with fennel and fried shallots. My first time trying it and even if you hate lima beans (these are similar in shape but so much nicer), you will crave this creamy, savory dish. I'm still salivating over the Caesar salad with white anchovies; don't be discouraged just because anchovies have a bad rap for being fishy. The white ones are vinegar-y and fresh and they use bread crumbs instead of croutons. I love the addition of the slightly bitter but crunchy radicchio. For the main, we shared the guanciale white pizza (no tomato sauce) and the crust is thin and bubbly like you would get in Naples. And for dessert, we chose the Basque-like cheesecake with sour cherry compote. Hubby and I don't drink alcohol anymore so there are three mocktail choices along with a zero-proof IPA that's very hoppy. I chose the hibiscus mocktail and it was perfectly icey, tart and fragrant. Honestly the best meal I've had in a long while and the prices are affordable and ideal for a first date or a business meeting.
