This is the 5 star hole in the wall mom and pop pasta joint that fulfills your soul. My default go to order is the penne carbonara, the Cajun chipotle chicken pasta. And I get it with a side of meat alls. Perfection. Plenty of food. Each pasta also comes with two pieces of garlic bread. read more

I was in a drunken stupor (because that's the way I usually begin my Yelp reviews) and was craving some carbs so this spot was only a few steps away. Thankfully, it had anything a person in my position wanted, and that anything was an Italian cold cut combo sub. Not sure why I didn't get a slice or two of pizza, but the veggies on the sub made me think I was eating healthy. Nevertheless, this spot did the trick and I was quite satisfied with my choice. Maybe the next time I go back, I'll remember more of it. You order at the counter, so it's very casual. This hole in the wall makes very good pizza. No margarita pizza, but their bbq chicken pizza is very good and large for a "medium". There are a few tables, but this place is essentially takeout. Generally, there's available parking in the strip center location. read more

This is some good classic American pizza. Very generous with toppings and sauce and cheese. Very tasty and anyone who I have ever given it to has enjoyed it. I place an order , large pepperoni pizza +extra pepperoni add on + portobello mushrooms, cost me $35+tip =$40 I opened the box its regular pepperoni very greasy and cold and no extra add on and maybe couple slices of mushrooms! I just called to ask them maybe they forgot or they sent me a wrong order! But the person told me I don't think so !!! Also I put ur name in computer for next time to double check your order! Food is really good! Portions are big especially their salads. I can share 1 salad w one of my coworker & each of us has a huge bowl. SLICE OF OLD PIZZA $6 I feel bad having to do this, especially after I left a nice tip. I really try and support or local businesses So I'm from NYC so I'm used to pizza sitting out for a couple of hours. However the slice I tried to eat today was awful and old. The pizza was thin crusted which was nice, however the cheese and sauce was dried so badly that it looked like it was glued to the dough. The cheese closest to the dough didn't taste like 100% real Mazzarella. It tasted like a Cheddar Mazzarella mix (yuck) The Vegitable toppings looked fresh (I sure hope they washed them). They even give you a healthy portion. Unfortunately, the Vegitables were placed on top of the pizza and barely warmed. The mushrooms were raw so i threw most of them away, but I hope that they are the ones you can eat raw. They definitely should have place the slice in the stone or brick oven. I had big hopes for this place. I couldn't keep eating something this bad. I'm really starting to feel sick. read more

Really excellent little pizza place! The lady at the front was so nice and explained what items were in each thing that I wanted to order. I ended up going with a Greek chicken salad for myself and a goat cheese and artichoke calzone for my friend. The salad was so fresh, and the chicken was good quality breast meat that was grilled to perfection. The salad was huge; I split it into two meals because it was just that big. It filled the box it came in and had a nice tangy vinaigrette dressing. The dressing was a bit creamier than the vinagrettes I get at most Mediterranean places, but it was still really good. Every ingredient was packed well and tasted fresh; the salad was colorful and had good variety. I had a bite of my friend's calzone. It was also really buttery and creamy with the cheese. I really recommend this place. Helpful and friendly service, portions are really generous for the price, and the food was fresh and delicious. It's a great no-frills takeout pizza/Italian place that has a good variety of options. read more

Open til 3am, dedicated crew, very polite, the food is GOOD. I've had the calzones, excellent and plentiful. I recommend the BBQ chicken if you want the works; comes with a side of marinara. Their sign out front was so old the 'I' in "Classic" was sun-bleached from years of exposure. So it read as CLASS C PIZZA" Which I found always hilarious.. and even more so when I got to suggest a pizza spot and refer it as such. Anyhow it's been replaced and I will miss it. Small but mighty!!!! So Ive been living in LA for a while, West LA for only a few years and as a breed New Yorker i have a very high opinion on pizza; ranging from 'good' to 'just like home.' This spot is very effen gud. Flavor is top notch! NY pizza has this sort of...bite in the taste of the cheese, this place is the closest Ive had to getting that familiar snap as soon as you take a bite. I really liked it. I've decided to go on a hunt to find the best pizza near my place/Santa Monica and this was the first non chain pizza place Ive tried so far and Im very satisfied. Nice light dough too. It was fast and and live a few blocks away so it was still piping hot when I busted it open. One smaaall thing..I ordered pepperoni and kalamata olives...I got the olives but it was a mix alongside black olives that I didnt order. This place is super nondescript, inside a strip mall, and is located across from the Morgan-Wixson theater. They sell New York-style pizza by the slice and also whole pies. We came here around 9PM during the theater intermission and they only had one slice of pizza left. We bought the slice for $2.50 and it was extremely tasty. The only bad thing was that we could not order another slice and we didn't want to get a whole pie. As I pulled in the parking lot I'll admit I was a bit hesitant because it looked like a random sketchy spot. I ordered a small pizza. Great prices, it was enough for 2.
