Went in today and there wasn't any electricity. Workers told me it wasn't the first time either. I got my food but I didn't want to eat it bc I couldn't trust it was prepared up to health and safety standards since it was dark and smoky in there and staff was pushing through terrible working conditions. This location was very busy when I visited here. There was only one person working the register and she looked very flustered. I ended up getting the chicken and steak plate. Overall the food tasted good, but nothing memorable. I also noticed that my friend had more meat on his bowl than I did on my plate. This was a little discouraging considering I paid more for the plate. I will make sure to never order a plate again. Overall just a 3/5 experience. read more

i interacted with two workers while i visited this location today, i myself work in fast food so i know the difficulties of dealing with others & might i say this young lady zuleyma she was extremely polite & welcoming i was greeted nicely by her & i appreciate her attitude, there was also a young man named jose who was very friendly & had such a welcoming smile, i can tell when someone is a good worker & he most definitely is one! i ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl with white rice, tasted amazing & was fresh. I visited this location a couple of weeks ago. I placed an online order for myself and a couple of coworkers stating the time of pick up I preferred. Once I arrived and gave my name my order was nowhere to be found. The people in line ahead of me all received their orders before me (4 people). It appeared they never checked their online orders and started my order once I got there. Twenty minutes later and no time left to eat I received my order. Never again will use their online service believing I'll be saving time. read more

Probably the slowest service I've ever experienced. Went in on a Thursday evening and wasn't helped when I stood there for a while! Employees were laughing in the back on their phones yelling and being obnoxious in my opinion. Great example of how the manager runs this establishment! This waba grill is pretty bad as far as customer service goes. Been here a few times for the value deals they have, which the La Verne location does not have. The employees always seem flustered and dont seem to enjoy working here and it shows to the customer. They do not have a working phone number. Last 4 times I've come here over the last couple of months no one answers and it says it's disconnected. I bring it up every time and get the same answer, " oh it does that sometimes, we'll let management know." Would be nice to be able to order ahead over the phone. One time I ordered broccoli and they had said they had run out and that it would take too long to cut up more and cook it. I won't be coming here anymore especially now that they don't have the 4 for 7.99 deal. read more

Visited Waba Grill last night, and wanted to order chicken and rice bowl, with breast/white meat but they were out. So, asked if they have avocado available, the girl said yes. So, I paid for avocado. And, to my dismay when I got home, realized they didn't put the avocado in, but charged me for it. Went back tonight to get a refund for my order as I was dissatisfied with it. The manager offered credit for avocado and discount on my next order. Manager refused to refund my meal after their error last night, which ruined my meal. The manager doesn't seem to care that they would lose a good customer, by not at the very least refund my meal. Pretty big price to pay for, one measly chicken bowl w/avocado. Hope I didn't experience this kind of customer service or attitude at other Waba Grills. No business survives or thrives by poor customer service. The attitudes of the young ladies that helped me we're nice, but their manager can learn a thing or two about Customer Service and Customer Retention. I ended up with food poisoning by 11pm I was throwing up all night and the undigested waba was the first thing that came up. Based on previous reviews I have read you have issues on customer service and appears your restaurant is not responding to the complaints. I have no issues or complaints regarding the quality of food. My order was simple, Waba Crunchy Chicken Wrap, drink, and pot stickers. Sit down with wife and notice tables are dirty with food debris, 2 soda fountain selections state out of order the place looked dingy. When order was ready female employee literally yelled your order is ready we were the only customers in the restaurant. Female employee asked if I needed any sauce I replied yes and turned to my wife and asked if she needed any sauce and the female employee snaps back with attitude I already put sauce in bag for her. I'm sorry but I wasn't talking you. I politely asked can I have my drink cup that the female employee forgot to provide, she looked baffled and immediately jumped on register to verify that I purchased a drink. Keep in mind I have receipt in hand. She asked me with attitude what size I replied the $2.99 one! She reluctantly gave me the cup. We ate our meal which was great. Point being I will not spend hard earned money in your restaurant again. No need. Unfortunately, now I will maybe have to drive to the Glendora location to satisfy my Waba cravings. Worst experience ever! We came in and were told immediately that we needed to wait because Jenny, the cashier, was running behind. Jenny, the cashier ignored us for almost 7 minutes. At that point she said "OK I'm ready" and started to take our order. I ordered a salmon bowl and add avocado. She sighed heavily and said "oh great! Now I'm going to have to cut avocado! OK well whatever. That's fine". My husband looked at her incredulously and stated that we were going to take our order somewhere else.
