If I had never been to a waffle house I would never want to return. Very disorganized with so many people working. Long wait. I watched 2 sets of people walk out. Didn't get all my food at the same time. I had to keep asking asking for the same things. Carryout orders were pushed behind and people waited over 40 minutes for food. At a waffle house? There were at least 12 people working. Like zombies. They need better training to be efficient. There was no normal waffle house system used here. Won't return! read more

It was almost midnight, and we were at a different Waffle House a couple exits north. My brother thought that one looked dingy, so we drove to this one instead. It was empty, so we received service and food quickly. My brother seemed disappointed by the menu, but he'd never been to a Waffle House before. I ordered two waffles, and they were exactly what I'd wanted. If you order just waffles, the bill is ridiculously cheap. Perfect for what we needed. read more

Literally the cleanest and best Waffle House I've been to! It just a random stop on our trip back home over the holidays around 4am, but I was so blown away by the service! Legit the ladies working there looked like they enjoyed their job and were having a good time! (AT 4AM!!) everything was so clean and the food was perfect because of their suggestions! Mostly good people, however there is this one Eva that always has an unprofessional attitude. It's unfortunate.

If I could give it less, I would. Facts: I was by myself yesterday to eat breakfast. They had full staff and 50% capacity. I waited patiently to sit at the counter. My turn came and I waited in full view of staff, including the manager to clean the place setting. I waited nearly 15 min while I was ignored and every else was seated, greeted and served. Finally, I politely asked for the counter to be cleaned of the food debris left. I was told by the the manager that they were busy. More time passes and a surly waitress finally wipes the counter and takes my order. No smile, no friendly service. Just nasty attitude. The food was gross and service hostile. Oh i left the best for last: I was the only black customer in a sea full of white faces. I don't play the race card UNLESS that's the card I'm dealt. The one black employee that works there should be ASHAMED of himself because he saw what was going on for my entire visit and he knows it! read more

Gross is an understatement. We walked in and not one table was cleaned off-full of dirty dishes etc. the one table that was cleaned off was still sticky and gross. There were only two other tables full and a plethora of staff and it took forever for someone to come over and take our order. The kitchen is dirty and disgusting to the point where I may get food poisoning. On top of it, this place is supposed to be known for their waffles yet my waffle was burnt and as thin as a crepe. What topped the experience off was the waitress who finally decided to clean one of the tables off only did so half way because she left the menus and her dirty rag on top of the table and then walked away and didn't come back. The staff was completely unprofessional-the waitress spews out what I'm assuming is a mix of English and 4th grade education rant about one of the customers. When my father and I finished eating our food and were about to leave, we noticed that there was only one employee left in the store. After asking the employee if anyone else was gonna come in to help, the employee responded by saying that, because he didn't have a server, he was gonna "close" for the night and that it "wasn't his store so its not his problem". He also mentioned that he had his tablet and was gonna play on his tablet for his entire shift (from 9pm-7am). My father and I both find the ideas of someone refusing to work for illegitimate reasons and getting paid for playing on their tablet to be unacceptable. I've never been to a Waffle House before, as I've always heard horrible things about them (plus, I don't live anywhere near one) and I'm not one for breakfast foods. However, my girlfriend loves breakfast foods, so we stopped in at this one at 3am. I must say, we were quite shocked--it was actually good. Staff Was nice. Girlfriend said her food was good. It was very busy but that's to be expected and we were at a table as quickly as they could. Food was great and our server was wonderful as well as the woman who greeted us at the door and took our name to be seated. The ONLY reason I give one star is due to the lack of professionalism of the manager carneshia(misspelled but it was something like that, she didn't have a name tag). I have never seen a manager be so disrespectful to an employee in front of customers. The irony of screaming, loud enough I could hear all the way on the other side of the restaurant, at a server about customer service was such an egregious example of customer service. I've been a manager before, you don't scream at an employee in front of the customers, especially when it's so busy they're are people waiting. The poor server was humiliated and in tears as she rang up a customer because of how rude the manager was. As a professional you take an employee in the back or off to the side to tell them what they're doing wrong, not scream it at the top of your lungs. HER actions were bad customer service and just as a decent human being you don't make someone cry. I can't imagine how humiliated she was as she was cashing out a customer and holding back tears. They need to seriously consider changing management or teaching them a lesson in respect. You don't critique an employee about bad customer service by being the worst possible example of poor customer service. read more

Saturday morning we arrived and this place was hopping. The manager stood beside the grill reading orders and the food came to us fresh and hot. The staff worked together very well and everyone was hopping to get the patrons served. The manager was leading his staff and keeping the staff positive. I've been in other Waffle House where the staff played, sat around at the end of the counters or they were smoking in front of the establishment.
