Oh Waffle House, how you feed my southern soul. I've only eaten breakfast here but it is fast and delicious every time. Some Waffle House locations can be sketchy but this one is well above average, clean, and super easy to get to by I-25. The servers are always friendly and of course there's Mama Kat who has been serving here for over 12 years. I don't believe she's management but she doesn't take any crap and you can tell she's earned the respect of her fellow coworkers as a leader in the establishment. I love watching the cooks work the griddled like it's a well tuned instrument and still have no idea how they keep all of the orders straight. My kids love the waffles with chocolate and peanut butter chips. Definitely one of my go to spots for breakfast. read more

We've been going back at irregular intervals the last couple of years. All-in-all, this place has improved dramatically. The service is better, the place is cleaner (albeit not surgically clean), and the food is far more consistent. We are thinking of adding it to our regular rotation. read more

No no no!!!!! Do not enter, go somewhere else! Waffle House? U call that a waffle! Ok based on food, no star! Awful! My "waffle" came out overcooked and hard. The syrup the waitress gave us was cold! Ew! Based on service, 4 star. She did the best she could. It seemed as tho she was the only one serving while everyone in the kitchen was..... Cooking? She didn't charge us the breakfast we didn't eat and apologized. However! Two girls in the kitchen kept looking over at us with awful dirty looks, as if we were the bad cooks!!!!? The Waffle House is one of my favorite breakfast spots and since there are none in New Jersey I always stop on the road while traveling in the states that they are located in I stopped at this Waffle House while traveling in the Denver area and as usual the food did not disappoint. As I've said before I do love me some waffle house. This was has a colorful staff and like all of them the food is always fresh, made fast, and made to order. I never write reviews but the customer service is fantastic. I take my boys almost every weekend and Charles is the man. He is from St Louis so if you wear any AZ Cardinals( they moved from St Louis) gear or any team from St Louis he will notice. He treats my family like gold even though we are Chicago fans. I've been to many Waffle House locations in the South and this is the best. Any bad reviews from this place just disregard. My wife and I realized we have invisibility powers while at the Waffle House. We walked in and everyone else but us was given menus and served. Including people that came in well after we did. We held out as long as we could to experiment with our new found superpower, but after about 30 minutes of waiting for menus, with nothing to look at but the grease-covered cooking surfaces and dirty silverware, we decided that the risk of food poisoning wasn't worth it. Another incredible experience at my home away from home. My waitress Shannon was attentive and quick and responded well to any request. She was kind and did a wonderful job. It was Sunday at 6:00 pm, foot traffic was low but the service was the worst that I have experienced in all of my time eating at Waffle Houses from Maine to Florida and Midwest. My husband ordered hash browns covered, smothered, chunked and Pecan waffles. The hash brown came out without the chili. We asked where the chili was and was bold that they manager did not show them how to fix it (unacceptable leaving untrained personnel). Now we are still not done. the waffle, which should have the pecans baked in the batter, arrived with the pecans on top. We asked the server to make us a new one with. he took that plate and threw the plate and all in the trash and not quiet about it. He then left the area and stayed in the back until we left (unacceptable behavior). So if it is true that a manager or assistant manager was not on duty; shame on them. read more

Poorest waffle house I have ever been in. Usually you can count on solid home cooked meal served promptly. The food was OK, even if I had to watch my eggs cooling for 3-4 minutes before the hashbrowns were put on the plate and delivered to me. The waffle which was part of the combo came 4 minutes after my cold eggs and hot hashbrowns were delivered. I would've given this place 5 stars, if not for the flakey waitress. I had the rib-eye steak, while Baba had the t-bone steak- mAN HOW COME CHICAGO DOENS'T HAVE THIS PLACE?!! Cheap and ultra delicious!!!!!! For dessert warm pecan pie with whip cream- to die for. Now the waitress, she was very nice and very helpful in informing us the different quality meats, but 1) she talked too much and 2) she messed up Baba's order of sausage melt. When the sandwich came, Baba knew it was not correct, so he asked her, yet she said that is the melt. By the time he asked for the check, I asked again for clarification (I was sad that Baba didn't get what he expected). She re-checked and caught her mistake- she ended up giving us the pecan pie for free, very nice, but still the mistake and lack of efficiency killed the excitement!!! Pulled in with the kids Friday evening about a 1/4 to 7. The was only one other couple in the restaurant, but that didn't stop the staff from being jovial, prompt and patient. The food was Waffle House good, as only Waffle House can do. My kids had the waffle and bacon mix, while I had a steak n bacon grilled cheese concoction. You have a manager behind the counter taking bad about another manager, our waiter delivered out food to us over a 10 minute span... One plate at a time. On Sunday afternoon there isn't much staff so service is slow, but friendly and apologetic. The grits are really good, but the waffle was a bit flat and dry. We ask for crispy bacon and it came out perfect. The poached eggs were fair at best since they were cooked in a bowl, but did taste good. I'll go back, but get scrambled eggs next time. read more

I came into Waffle House after a disastrous attempt to find dinner at the Village Inn across the street. I was immediately greeted by every member of the most amazingly friendly staff and invited to sit. The waitress took my drink and food order right away, and had my food in front of me in less than ten minutes. The food was delicious; I recommend the chocolate chip waffle. The service was superb. Walked in got a seat at the counter... first thought the kitchen is trashed. So I'm seated for ten minutes and finally get some attention from the staff, order coffee, water and a burger... I sit patiently for another 15 minutes, no coffee or water show up, 5 minutes later still no sign of service, so I ask one of the staff to cancel my order. I'm never going back. read more

So bad...where to begin..my own fault for pulling into an empty parking lot when the village inn across the street was packed on a Labor Day weekend Friday morning 7 AM..no customers inside..warnings going off..be nice..try it out..ordered 2 waffles, and eggs with steak and some ham and sausage and two more orders of eggs..40 bucks..waffles were flat with squares...pancakes with squares..the steak was not sirloin..nasty, over cooked and full of fat...the cook coughing in our food as he cooked the eggs and meat on the grill...the steak knife given was dirty..I mean obviously dirty like when you throw a fully dried knife with food stuck on it into a cheap dishwasher..that kind of dirty..I guess we saw the day shift come in because the first thing they did was grab some food and plop down to BS with each other..the food..it was the type of food that you knew the second you swallowed some of it you were in for a toilet journey later on...and we all got the runs 2 hours after eating here..avoid.. gotta add on a few items...coffee was luke warm with that old been on the burner overnight taste..the toast was burned but get this..the toast was so cold that when they dropped the spoon full of butter between the slices, none of it melted..that's right..cold burned toast with a glob of unmelted butter between the halves..if you value your perfect bowel movement consistency, avoid this place..or you will find yourself back on the freeway when it hits you... read more
