I had a great experience there on Thanksgiving morning after coming from the airport. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. I enjoyed my bacon, egg and cheese sandwich with my hashbrowns with onions. I always forget Waffle House is here and I plan to come back in the future. It was very clean this date !

It's less messy than other locations, the new girl (savannah) seems to be more put together than some of the others. The bacon was cooked great and the hash browns were made to order and had a perfect crisp. I only waited 10 minutes from time of order. My waitress Amanda was unamused, could've just been a bad day. Renee checked me out and she was very sweet, checked on me a few times while I was eating. All in all I left pleased, I'd come back.

Two visits here so far and two different experiences. The first time, just one waitress covering the whole place and she was way overwhelmed. She was trying hard but needed at least another server. She forgot stuff. She mischarged us. She was well behind on cleaning off dirty tables. But she tried and and we tipped her well. The second time, the restaurant was very busy and I think the servers were staggering orders to allow the cook to keep up. After we arrived and took our seat in the corner, we waited a good 15 minutes before orders were taken. The waitress for this area did a great (not) job of avoiding eye contact for us and the two tables who came in immediately afterwards. Once our order was taken, our breakfast was prepared quickly and arrived over the course of about five minutes with the eggs and grits, omelet, ham, waffle and finally the hash browns. Not great to get things this separated. As well on our second visit, six or seven people standing around and placing/waiting on carry-out orders. Not much social distancing going on over there and these folks should have waited outside. [Review 14997 overall, 499 of 2021, number 2861 in North Carolina.]

I came here late night from hanging out a bit. The place was very busy at the time but we were able to sit right away. The server was very nice and had that southern hospitality. I ordered waffles with chicken breast and it was pretty good. The price was very affordable. If ever in Charlotte again I will be back.

Stopped by Waffle House for a quick breakfast and also introduce my new friend to Waffle House for the first time. It's never a disappointment for me to eat at Waffle House and it was also not a disappointment for my friend after she tried the amazing Sausage Egg Cheese Hashbrown Bowl!! It was super fresh and warm with perfectly cooked eggs and sausages. The hashbrowns were crispy and flavorful. At $7.70 it fills you up and also worth every bite. The cheeseburgers I believe are around $2 a piece and are one of the best cheeseburgers you can get for that price. With $2 you could buy McDonald's or other fast food burgers but at Waffle House, $2 can buy you cheeseburgers that are amazingly tasty and is a million times better than any fast food restaurant. The location here also always has attentive and friendly service. Every time I come by this location the servers are always so friendly it gives a very homey and comfortable vibe. People always seem to give Waffle House a bad rep but honestly it is amazing quality hot/fresh food for a very low price and lovely service.

Today the place is standing room only - it is breakfast hour and the weekend. The aroma of pecan waffles is in the air ... Food is good - I had steak and eggs with grits. Steak is good - don't have High expectations and you won't be disappointed . It's Waffle House ! Clean restaurant with slamming grilled food . Waitstaff is pleasant and that's half the battle at any restaurant! I'd recommend it anytime - just keep perspective of where you are !

Nothing was bad, actually, everything was pretty good. The problem was that nothing really crossed over into great. We ordered the $46 Pig Out platter with four proteins, two sides, hushpuppies and pickles. We went with coleslaw and sweet potato fries, and apparently I was feeling particularly committed that night because I ate almost the entire thing myself. The brisket was good. The slaw was good. The sweet potato fries were good. The hushpuppies were good. See the pattern? For something called the Pig Out, I also found myself wishing the meat felt a little less like the precious commodity on the plate and, once again, the pulled pork mostly made me wish I had a pound of Lupita's sitting in front of me instead. Midwood Smokehouse isn't bad BBQ by any stretch. It just landed firmly in the "good" category for us when I was hoping for something memorable. Considering I used some relationship capital convincing her to abandon Mac's for the night, I don't think I'll be suggesting a return trip anytime soon. Honestly, I'm not sure I'd make one myself either.

We started with the pimento cheese appetizer and the pimento is very flavorful and served with toasted bread that I think is a wheat sourdough. I ordered the rotisserie pork, and the rest of the table ordered the cavetelli with shrimp, the 1/2 rotisserie BBQ chicken, and shrimp with an herbed sauce. We also got roasted beets and the cauliflower for sides. The Brussels aren't on the menu during the summer but the cauliflower was amazing. They were dressed with a tangy anchovy like pesto and Parmesan. Unique and so tasty. I've seen a couple negative reviews about portion size and cookery, but each of our meals were prepared exceptionally well and we were full when we left. In addition, the service was prompt and friendly and her recommendations were spot on. It was a little hot to sit outside, but the inside was bustling and tables were enjoying their evening. When I go to a Noble's restaurant, I know I'm going to get fantastic food, good service and have an enjoyable time and this visit was no different

Seating Staff was very nice and took us to our seats in a booth right away. It was already very busy at 5p on a Friday, with great weather. I've been to many of the Noble restaurants around Charlotte but this was my first time at a Roosters and found it to be a great experience overall. Our server was Melissa, a true professional, personable, knowledgable and available for questions and guidance on the menu. Susan had the NC shrimp, I had the Trout we shared the Okra appetizer and Anson Mill Grits and Carolina Gold Rice as our sides. It was very LOUD, that's the only down side to our experience. The bar area is VERY large so it was livley on a Friday evening. We were there to see String Cheese Incident at the Amp. The food quality was top tier! Everything was just delicious, well presented, nice size portions and maybe just a little on the pricey side but expected for the location and access to the AMP. Parking can be a challenge, the close in lots are all pay using an App but I found the Boyle Garage a block away was FREE. Melissa said there is a 'private dining room' that can be reserved in the back of the main dining room. However at times when it's not reserved you can request seating there where it's much quieter! They have very nice covered patio and live music on Wed evenings. I will be returning for certain and will ALWAYS ask for Melissa!

We were looking for lighter fare and the menu had so many options to choose from. The lavender honey butter with the warm bread surprised me the most - the bread was fluffy and cloud like and divine with the butter. We nearly ordered another one, but it was just so decadent. The mezze platter had lots of great bites for our varied palates, loved the whipped ricotta and all the olives and fried naan. Harrisa roasted carrots were our idea of something healthy, and they may have been nutritious but tasted just as good as any main dish. Our server kindly warned us to be careful of the fresno chiles on the pork belly dish, and we appreciated that. They were quite spicy but very good with the slaw and pork belly - excellent bite of savory, crunchy, spicy and just a wee bit sweet was possible on that one. We happened to benefit from some wine specials and opted for a couple of bottles of wine at a serious discount that were excellent. Our server made great recommendations and made sure our glasses never ran dry. The manager also checked in on our group but was never intrusive. We enjoyed the booth seating near the window and the vibe was definitely upbeat but casual. It hit the spot!

The…read moreatmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a sports lodge--tons of TVs everywhere so you can catch every game, but with that rustic outdoor theme too. Mounted game fish, moose, and deer heads give it that hunting-lodge vibe, which actually makes it a fun place to hang out and watch sports. We started with the Billionaire Bacon appetizer--six slices of bacon described as thick-cut, hickory-smoked and candied with brown sugar, red chile flakes, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne. The flavor description was accurate, but the bacon itself really wasn't thick-cut and could've been much crispier. For the price, I expected better. If it had been thicker and crispy, it might've been worth it, but I probably won't order that again. My girlfriend ordered the Southwest Salad, and that dish absolutely delivered. It was a heaping portion topped with perfectly cooked sliced sirloin steak and shrimp, plus mixed greens, carrots, pico de gallo, roasted corn, black beans, pepper jack, and a jalapeño honey vinaigrette. She absolutely loved it. She also got a side of coleslaw, which was surprisingly delicious and a great addition to the meal. She paired everything with the Dirty Blonde beer, which definitely made up for the disappointing appetizer. I went with the naked garlic Parmesan wings and a side Caesar salad. Both were delicious. The wings were fried perfectly--crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside--and the flavor was spot on. I was very satisfied with them. Service was great as well. We actually had two servers because one was in training, and both of them were attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. Overall, I'd rate our experience a 4.5 out of 5. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all really good, and we had a fun time. If not for the underwhelming Billionaire Bacon, this would've easily been a full 5. We'll definitely be back--just skipping that appetizer next time.
