First off, I wish Waffle house would open in CA!! I was so excited to dine in at Waffle House for the first time. Literally the best service at a casual dining restaurant that I have ever been to. The server was very kind, quick to take our order, checked in several times to drop off syrup, jams, and told us not to rush. I asked if we could purchase a Waffle House coffee mug and she told us they do not sell merchandise in store..only on Amazon or on their website. FYI - Like many restaurants now with the nationwide egg shortage, they added a temporary egg surcharge of $0.50 per egg. We ordered the Breakfast Meal ($7.50 - 2 eggs, toast, hashbrowns) and the All star Special ($13.25 - 2 eggs, waffles, bacon & tomatoes). The breakfast came out fast and was delicious especially the soft, warm, waffles!! The butter melted quickly on the waffles and the syrup was perfect. I'm loving Waffle House and please open in CA!!!

On our way to El Paso, the family got hungry, so we decided to stop by Waffle House. I honestly expected a standard experience, but I was pleasantly surprised--it was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly, and our waiter was genuinely kind to my son, which made us feel so welcome. The restaurant had that classic old-school diner feel, bringing back a lot of nostalgia. And the food? Absolutely delicious. My wife and I shared a waffle, but we also got a burger and a breakfast plate on the side. Safe to say, anytime I'm passing through El Paso, I'll be making a stop here again!

Waffle House is the better chili in tucson. Full and thick no juice. Go there and try it.

My very first Waffle House experience! We don't have any in the PNW so when we were visiting Tucson for the first time - thought it would be a great idea. It reminded me of a Denny's (which is common in PNW). The atmosphere was very neat, service was good and pricing was reasonable. This location was convenient as it was close to the freeway. Highly recommend giving it a shot

What's not to like. Inexpensive tasty food served with a smile. Breakfast for dinner With an old friend. Gotta love it .

Freddie the Greeter! This place has him! He even has his own YouTube channel. Great service, great food. They should do something about the pesky flies around. We had sides of hash browns, bacon and, of course, a waffle. You don't leave this place hungry. A classic!

Our first time visiting a Waffle House, and by mere luck we're at Freddy the Greeter's location! A Tucson ICON! I can see why his name gets around. He is a character and a friendly man overall :) A great start to my Waffle House experience. By the way, he did mention he's only here on weekends. We ordered the Sausage Egg and Cheese on Texas Toast and the Bacon Texas Cheesesteak Melt, each with a side of hasbrowns. I also got a cup of chili. I will say, the fact that I can add all these toppings to my hasbrowns was a game changer!! Mushrooms, jalapeños, onion, and chili! DEE-LISH. 5/5 stars for my first time at Waffle House.

Stopped here on our way back from El Paso to Lancaster. We had been driving for hours and I got a grumble on my stomach. I wanted to sit down and have some coffee so I found this gem on Yelp. I am sure glad I did. When we walked in we were greeted by the most friendly waiters. She took our order and brought our drinks fast. We were able to see our food being prepared and it came out in a great time. We inhaled that good food and then hit the road. Shout out to the server for giving us a coffee to go.

My husband and I went to this location for the first time together (and his first time since college) on a Sunday morning. It was busy with a wait, but the greeter and host, Freddie, was so kind and made sure to seat us as soon as a spot opened up. Our waitress, Willow, was also friendly and fast. We enjoyed sitting at the classic counter and watching the chefs at work. My sandwich was delicious, and the peppered and covered hashbrowns were everything I hoped they'd be. My husband enjoyed his All Star Special, and we shared the chocolate chip waffle for "dessert". We will definitely be back to this location!

I forgot which night it was now since we stayed in DT Tucson for Tour de Tucson from Thursday to Sunday. Oh, Actually I think it was a Saturday night because I remember wanting to go somewhere that had TVs that would show the Vegas F1 race. We got a table without reservation and they didn't have anything F1 on TV.. so we started just watching from our phone but then I noticed one of the main TVs above the bar started showing F1.. Now, I don't know if the servers of Elliott's were that observant and awesome or, they were already planning to show it once the race started... I choose to believe that our server was so awesome that she noticed we were watching F1 race on our tiny phone and put it on TV for us!! Honestly, just for that, 5 stars in my book. What also is a bonus is how good their food is. Sometimes you get nervous going to a local bar because food is not always good...though the people who run it and the place might be fun. However, you get all of the above at Elliott's. We ordered some mussels (cooked to perfection, not overcooked at all), pear salad, pineapple cider (delish), fish tacos, and steak. Everything was pleasantly yummy and the star was the mussels, which I did not expect to taste this fresh and delish, talking about setting low expectations and be pleasantly surprised! Overall, highly recommend. It did get darker and lots more busy and loud as we finished dinner and the Vegas F1 race finished. Def the place to bring people and friends to hang out and enjoy good food!

The bar area is sectioned off from the main dining area so there is plenty of seating. My waiter Robert was really awesome. Took great care of me and my sister's dining needs. He suggested dessert but we were too full to try any. So he suggested to sample some of their ice cream before leaving I went over to the ice cream shop which is right at the entry/exit door. I waited but no one came over to sample. After a few mins of waiting, I left and will have to try the ice cream next time.

The only dish I really enjoyed, was the patatas bravas. The rest are as follows: - Iberico Jamón board ($27) : I would have enjoyed the bread toasted, and a better assortment of items on the board that may have paired better. I didn't enjoy the jelly with the apples and the olives. I also feel that the board is not filling enough for the price tag. I tried an array of their dishes, but only really liked the potatas bravas ($11). I also got the croquette ($14), the sautéed chicken ($13), and the bacalao pil pil ($15). I thought the chicken and then croquette were just okay, and could've used more flavor. I really didn't like the fish, as I had a fishy flavor to it that was really pronounced. A couple at my table did like it, so we were split with me and 2 others that also felt as I did. The staff here was really friendly and I wish I enjoyed more of my meal. So many higher-end expensive restaurants serve bland, tasteless food, meanwhile this amazing mid-ranged restaurant is serving some of the best dishes I've ever had. The smashed chicken was probably the best chicken dish I have ever had at a restaurant. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The ginger and herb salsa verde was so fresh and aromatic. The cilantro rice complimented the lemongrass aioli perfectly. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I'm usually one to reach for the salt shaker at most restaurants. Smoked olives are a concept I have never considered before. It's a concept that was executed perfectly here. So savory, flavorful, and complex. I'd love to have a few with a dirty martini. Speaking of drinks, my Casino gin cocktail was great. Perfect level of sweetness and tartness. I knew I had to order dessert after how good everything else was, even though I am usually not a dessert person. The oolong tea cake was nothing short of incredible. The tea flavor was subtle but paired well with the fluffy and light honey buttercream. Not too sweet at all. Of course, the service was great too. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. My first experience at 5 points made me realize that this is what restaurants should strive to be. I can tell there is passion poured into every dish with every ingredient thoughtfully melded together. I can't wait to bring everyone I know here so they can experience this too!!
