I'm a regular at the location on Valencia. Patricia was my waitress this morning and she made an exceptional impression.

Went in at midnight! Vanessa was our server. SHOUT OUT VANESSA!! The store was amazing! There were a few others sat around us. It wasn't noisy at all. Had full bottles of Tapatio and she was there when we needed her. She got our food out to us quick. Cooks did excellent too!!! Had some good laughs! We hope to see her again next time we come in!! We haven't been here in years, but they made some major changes that really added to our experience. They modernized the inside for one and the customer service was very good. Our server was polite and checked on us a lot. The food was good over all, but they did burn the hash browns and one of the plates had cold sausages, but nothing too major that could not be easily fixed. It was also super packed so you know it has to be pretty tasty for people to keep coming back. read more

Chicken was alittle well done, and my moms omelette was really stuffed with undercook veggies. It was tasty she said tho, after she scraped some of them out. my family and I rarely go out for a breakfast meal at night but when I tell you, Starr is my favorite person of any place I've been to in a long time! This dennys had the loveliest server she got our order and cranked it to another level of happines. She not only made sure we all had the right food but her recommendations would make it 10x better and she also gave me the warmth feel of my mom serving me on her best days. besides a quite night at the restaurant i felt like I was welcomed and was blown away by the experience ms. My food was horribly cold and under cooked service was none existent. Never got a refill I asked for 2 times had my server walk past my table a few times I understand forgetting once but twice.. come on..... if I could leave no starts I would. 60$ for 2 people two people to eat with crap service cold and undercooked food is crazy. My server had my table and another that was it. Wasn't busy at all. I would have more understanding if it was on the busy side but for 10 people in total sitting down eating in the whole place is unacceptable... very disappointed with this Denny's.. rather take the time and drive to Sahuarita location because I know it will be 10/10 every time. The service was very good. The food was very good but it was freezing cold inside. They left the air conditioner on all night, and we had to eat with our jackets on. Was not happy about that situation they said the office was locked so they could not turn down the air conditioner or adjust the temperature It was cold outside and we came in hopefully to warm up But still had to leave our jackets on the entire time The waiter was very polite and courteous and had our food ready very quickly read more

We were recently visiting family and friends in Tucson. My fiancé, our friend and I decided to go to this Denny's location for a late night breakfast for dinner. It was a good experience overall. Food was tasty, server was helpful and fast and it turned out to be very cheap too. We ordered a moon over my hammy, an all slam sandwich, banana pancakes and an appetizer platter with mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders and quesadilla. Everything was well cooked and tasted good, except for the quesadillas, they were kinda rough, which made it hard to eat and it had very little cheese -I took off all the edges because it had no cheese at all. Place wasn't very clean however. We noticed the servers sweeping and mopping and that kept them from coming to check on us. I also went to the bathroom and it was a total mess. I understand it was very late at night so I guess that's the time they use to clean. Still, not an excuse to abandon a table. Good place overall, we spent around 30 bucks with everything we ordered. read more

It's just your basic run-of-the-mill breakfast place, I typically prefer going to the location on Broadway but this was a little bit closer to home so we opted to go here I don't think I'll make that mistake again although the food was average the service wasn't as great as we receive on Broadway. I had never been to this Denny's, but I have always liked driving by it. It has an old 50's diner look from the outside. It seems to be smaller than other Denny's I have been too. We visited Sunday morning about 830am and it was quite busy and quite noisy but people come her after church so can't expect anything less. The food quality is decent but there's other better tasting breakfast spots such as the large staple chain if you know what I mean. Our waitress was super busy but attentive. The raspberries in my pancakes were a tint bit moldy but she gave us a discount and was completely willing to fix the issue. Other waiters and waitresses filled our coffee cups as they walked around. I've been to this Denny's location many times, mostly on the night shift or morning after work. From my experience the morning is the best time to go if you want good service and quiet atmosphere. Obviously with a 24hr diner the night shift will have a lot of people coming from a night of heavy drinking, therefore; service is a little lax. Besides that, the food is good and prepared however you like. read more

I work here and I have never been so disrespected by an employer in my entire life! I work really hard busting tables and the waitress don't split the tip. I leave the money on the table because I'm not allowed to touch it it is not mine I was told. I'm sorry but I don't feel they should get all of it all they do is carry food and know the menu. To clean the dishes I have to throw away left over food. THERE IS NO TRASH CAN FOR THE CUSTOMERS if they want to throw away their own trash. I will be looking for another job. On my way to work, I have the option of frequenting 4 Denny's. I go to this location every Monday mostly because of Estella. She remembers my beverage and breakfast orders and I am served my beverages within 30 seconds and my breakfast in less than 3 minutes. She always remembers that I want a coffee to go. I've eaten at a lot of Denny's locations and this one is the worst ever! Server was rude. I actually had to hunt her down to get more iced tea and when she brought our food (after 30 minutes) she basically dropped my plate on the table since I had to ask for service a moment earlier. The food? Oh dear god! I ordered the Fit Fare Slam - I got a cold, dry english muffin, egg whites with no spinach, turkey bacon and burnt hash browns where my fruit should have been. My boyfriend ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast. His hash browns were also burnt and said his CFS tasted like mcnuggets. Now I used to wait tables, so I can appreciate busy times of day, bad days, etc. However, there were two waitresses, one cook and eight tables. Three tables got up and walked out while we patiently waited for our food (first clue). Our waitress (Carissa) was more concerned about cleaning her tables and getting of work than she was taking care of her tables. We even had to get someone else to print out our receipt. Needless to say, she did not get a tip nor will we ever go back to that location. Worst Denny's ever! read more

I usually like Denny's. This is (I hope) a rare exception. We have been to this particular Denny's many times, but this experience was disappointing. Three of us went for dinner last night. We were seated and ordered drinks. My iced tea arrived with ONE ice cube, and was weak. Our orders arrived (we all had breakfast selections). My hash browns were barely heated and mushy. My sourdough toast was not toasted. Our pancakes got cold while we waited for syrup (which we'd asked different people for 3 times). The bacon was cold. The eggs, ham and sausages were OK. There was a large grinding machine in the kitchen that was operated repeatedly, which was so loud and offensive, it drowned out all conversation. The waitstaff was indifferent. I went to this Denny's for Christmas breakfast. It wasn't too busy and we were seated quickly. The waiter had a very thick accent so it was hard to understand him and even with it being slow he lacked at giving us refills. Upon arrival of our food I found a thumb tack laying between my hashbrowns and breakfast sandwich. When the waiter arrived back I showed him what was in my food and he ended up picking up the thumb tack and apologized, he hesitated to take the food back and it appeared he was just going to leave the food at the table and have me eat it after he took the thumb tack out. After that he brought back it looked the exact same. After dealing with that type of service and foreign objects in my food I plan on never going to denny's ever again. read more

This is by far the worst Denny's I've ever been to!!! We live around the corner from it and have probably been 5 times. There's a problem every time. Some of the worst are when I ordered French Toast, I was given the thick bread toasted. It was never soaked in batter. It. Was disgusting. We went last nicgt to celebrate my sons graduation, and I went to the bathroom which smelled like pee. There were dried pee splattered on the seats and the seat protectors were empty. Haven't had a good experience at this location. Was there about 5yrs ago, rude waitress, food was cold, dirty floor. Said I wouldn't return. Well I decided to give it another try. BIG mistake. Coffee was so strong, tasted like if it had been sitting for a long time. Food was cold, let the waitress know, brought me a replacement, no difference, sausage wasn't cooked all the way yuk! Disgusting. Flies everywhere, trash across the dining room floor, used sanitary napkins lying around the bathroom stalls. It took 40 minutes to get our food, and half of the orders were wrong. The food was soggy and bland, with a hair on one plate. We will never return. read more

Recently I went to this Denny's with some friends of mine at about 1 in the am service was ok for it being so late no complaints there but when our food came my friends pancakes had an actual live cockroach in it !!!!!! And better yet they didn't even take it off the bill they made him pay full price for some roach pancakes. I will never eat there again unless the do some serious upgrades. The macaroni and cheese for the little one was soupy, it tasted like soap, and was the last plate to arrive 15 min after everyone else got their food.
